When honey notes are done right, I love them. All the notes are easy to appreciate and well-balanced. There’s no sandalwood, vetiver, patchouli, or citrus. It’s a bold floral centered on its flowers. It reminds me of Chanel’s No. 22 but without so many aldehydes. Beige is powdery and sweet. Very elegant with good skin longevity.
Simple, feminine, clean, long-lasting, a soft and very gentle floral. It’s for when you want to be neutral and feel good in your own skin. It won’t draw attention; the sillage is soft but accompanies you all day. It’s one of those perfumes you can easily turn into your personal signature. Highly recommended.
Perhaps it’s not the best name; it doesn’t smell like leather or vanilla, but rather a crystal-clear, clean bouquet of flowers. It’s the first floral that isn’t intrusive or heavy. The flowers play off each other, with white hawthorn adding freshness and a spicy touch. The honey enriches without being cloying. The star is the frangipani—delicious and tropical but discreet; it remains Chanel. Natural, high quality, and low on chemicals. There’s no originality, but it’s very pleasant, lasting hours close to the skin like a floral soap. No chemical residue. Testing the EDT, it lasts acceptably and doesn’t vanish like a regular cologne. Easy daytime use. The best part is the quality; the downside is the price.
Maybe ‘Beige’ isn’t the best name, and it doesn’t smell like leather, vanilla, or anything of that color. Chanel presents a crystal-clear, clean, and elegant floral bouquet. It’s the first floral that isn’t intrusive or heavy. At first, all the flowers play off each other; the white hawthorn adds freshness and a spicy note. The honey isn’t cloying; it just enriches the bouquet. The star is the frangipani—delicious with a subtle tropical touch that still feels very Chanel. Everything feels natural with minimal chemistry. There’s no groundbreaking originality, but it’s very pleasant, lasts acceptably, and leaves a clean floral soap scent close to the skin without chemical residue. I’m testing the EDT, and it really lasts; it’s discreet but not weak. It’s a perfect daytime, everyday scent. The best part is the quality; the downside is the high price.
Updated review on the difference between EDT and EDP. The scent is almost identical: a waxy paste of frangipani in honey. Surprisingly, the EDT is richer, with more body and depth. The EDP is good, but the EDT is better. It has more strength and a deeper base, almost like a vintage extract. The ritual of the old mini-bottles was precious, an art reserved for special occasions. Today the EDP has more brightness, but the original was more impactful. The honey feels more waxy, the frangipani denser. It has a vintage, powdery air. PS: Chanel usually prefers their EDT; here longevity is similar, but the difference lies in the palate and packaging. The EDT is better.
It exudes that impeccable, understated, and elevated elegance found in Chanel’s signature flat, neutral beige. It’s a beige with tiny golden flecks that smell like honey. At first, it’s sharp, but it settles into a rich, powdery, floral, and sweet aura. From the Les Exclusifs line, these feel like aromatic illustrations of Gabrielle’s world and elements. I love the concept, though the price is a strong filter for choosing just one. For now, I’m sticking with BOY, although Beige is also a huge hit. Perfect honey and flowers.
Polished and elevated elegance, a neutral beige with golden honey sparkles. At first, it’s incisive, then it leaves a powdery, floral, and sweet aura. It feels like illustrations of Gabrielle and her world. The price is high, a powerful filter to choose just one. For now, I’m sticking with BOY, though Beige looks amazing. Perfect honey and flowers.
A masterpiece of French elegance and chic, created by Jacques Polge. The honey is subtle, less cloying than ever, serving as the star yet blended to perfection. Worth every euro; it rarely disappoints blindly. Longevity and sillage are perfect—you can feel it without being overwhelmed, nothing vulgar. A well-deserved ten.
Beautiful and feminine, it evokes tropical vacations with that wet sweetness of blooming plumeria. Honey holds the flowers perfectly, making it ideal for daytime wear. Projection is notable; it stays strong on my skin for 12 hours. Highly recommended if you want to feel a bit of summer, any time of year.
