  • To my nose, the opening is synthetic violet, almost plastic and sharp, taking 30 minutes to an hour to dry down. At first, it smells like heavily alcoholic baby powder, then soft talcum notes emerge with a subtle rose, without the violet disappearing. Maybe this is the golden moment where the lipstick crayon or makeup powder scent appears; everything is very feminine but with that plastic edge I didn’t like. Conclusion: it wasn’t what I expected, it was a blind buy. After a few days, it’s a lovely and wearable perfume depending on your taste, but there are better ones in this category. It’s not bad, it’s a classy and stylish Chanel, but it’s not what I was looking for or promised. Maybe I’ll end up loving it later, but for now, I just like it.

  • Misia is pure iris. The synthetic lipstick note reminds me of the 1930s. The lilac and talcum powder scent lasts a long time before giving way to a sweet note that I absolutely love. Unfortunately, for my taste, the intensity is very soft or ‘delicate,’ as the sales associates would say. In conclusion: it’s very sophisticated, but I think it could be more intense.

  • It reminds me of a perfect blend between L’Heure Bleue by Guerlain and Infusion d’Iris by Prada. The velvety, vintage iris is what stands out most. It starts aldehydic with aquatic citrus notes, then powerful violets that bring back other eras, with alcoholic tints and finally iris with talc and baby powder. Wonderfully classic. It lasts five hours with delicate projection, like a high-quality artisanal cologne.

Misia leaves your mouth dry from the sheer audacity of smelling it and asking the price, but what a ridiculous price for something so divine. You open the bottle and freeze like Casper, unable to touch the ground, because of that fresh, alive powdery iris and violet. Oh my god, how we start and can’t buy it. If the virginal beauty of this has a name, it’s Misia. On skin it turns into something dense with resins and aldehydes, that Chanel wonder that puts us on our knees. The rose kisses you after a whisper of lily, playing with you. It’s the dream of a 1920s beauty with torn petticoats, yet also androgynous and chic, authentic. The exclusive editions are brutal, dangerous because they identify you quickly, but paying 300 euros guarantees you’ll never go unnoticed. Fresh, pure arrogance that surpasses other houses.

  • A huge gift for Coco to her makeup artist, very special and artistic, but the tonka bean in the background kills it for me. I wish it weren’t there, though the rest is mystical and unique.

  • A real steal from Coco for her makeup artist, very special and artistic, but the tonka bean in the base ruins it for me. I wish it weren’t there, though the rest is mystical and unique.
