Today’s pick is Zara Kids’ Lemon Pie; I’ve already tried Matcha Mochi and Bubble Waffle, but they didn’t grab me, whereas this one really did. The promised notes match the scent: lemon and passion fruit with a very soft milky touch. Just so you know, it doesn’t smell like lemon cake or sponge as the name suggests. Instead, it’s a transparent, sweet, and energizing lemon, perhaps with a hint of caramel—very fresh and citrusy. I wouldn’t call it a sweet citrus; it’s more gourmand. It’s perfect for spring and summer, suitable for the whole family or even kids. The longevity is typical for the line, lasting 3 to 4 hours; these are eau de toilettes, not full perfumes. The price is a bit high at 9 euros for 30 ml, same as in the women’s section. It’s a great cologne, ideal for boosting the lemon in other perfumes like Jeanne Arthes’ Tartelette Citron. It reminds me a bit of Soft.
