  • After the hits with the EDP and EDT of Elie Saab, Francis Kurkdjian has created a fabulous Intense version. I love the warmer, more refined nuance, especially the amber that, along with patchouli and honey, creates a balsamic floral incense. It makes me feel cozy, ultra-feminine, and beautiful. The trail on my skin is enchanting and lasts for hours. In this version, the rose stands out more than before.

  • It’s just like Please Please Pleats, but better. This one doesn’t have that synthetic edge the other has.

  • Honey and amber are the kings, rose is the princess, and orange blossom a lovestruck prince. The other notes are surely there, forming the court of this kingdom. The blend is well-executed, rich, and unique. It feels sophisticated, elegant, and aristocratic, yet modern and not stuffy. It’s intense at first, then softens; with its high concentration, it projects slowly and isn’t intrusive. The bottle is luxurious, a bonus. I absolutely love it.

  • I started with Le Parfum—it’s rich, but it just didn’t click with me. Then I tried the Intense, and I knew it was mine: it has that femininity and sophistication I crave when dressing up. The original opens floral with honey and dries down to be more woody; the Intense starts with pure honey and flowers, barely a touch of wood. As it evolves, the sweetness becomes super sophisticated, more classic and feminine than the first one. It lasts about 4 hours and stays noticeable. I get compliments everywhere I go. It’s a must-have in my collection.

  • I had Le Parfum and it was too citrusy and sharp for me (it was a gift). Today I tried this on my skin and fell in love. I was between Mon Guerlain and this one, and my boyfriend chose this as a gift, but after spending the night with Mon Guerlain, I think I’ll end up buying Elie Saab Intense. Here I detect a dense, sweet honey trail that Le Parfum doesn’t have. Very warm and comfortable, perfect for cool climates or days, and super feminine.

  • I had Le Parfum and it smelled citrusy and sharp on me (it was a gift). Today I tried this on my skin and fell in love. I was torn between Mon Guerlain and this, and my boyfriend chose this as a gift. But after spending the night with Mon Guerlain, I think I’ll end up buying Elie Saab Intense. Here I detect a dense, sweet honey trail that isn’t in the simple Le Parfum. Very warm and comfortable, perfect for cool climates or days, and super feminine.

  • The perfumer is selling an aroma he’s made a thousand times before. Although he doesn’t list the jasmine from the original, it’s noticeable in harmony with that gum-like orange blossom. It’s at the right point of being able to get cloying due to the sweetness of the honey and amber. It lasts well, but I feel it settles down after the first intense hour, although I didn’t wear it on clothes. A meh overall.

I fell in love with this perfume during our honeymoon. We were walking through a mall, and I spotted it in a department store. The bottle is super feminine and elegant, maybe the cutest one out there. I thought if it looks that good, it must smell great. And it does! The scent accompanied me and made me feel super elegant and feminine. It became addictive; every time I passed the store, I had to go in and spritz it. Once I got back to my city, I ran to buy it. Now I use it for special occasions; I think it works any time of year, though I prefer it in summer because it reminds me of our June honeymoon, which was hot. P.S. It seems similar to Narciso Rodriguez for Her, but with less rose and orange blossom taking center stage.

I fell in love with this Elie Saab Intense on my honeymoon. While walking through a shopping mall, I spotted it in a store and the first thing I noticed was the bottle, super feminine and elegant, perhaps one of the prettiest. I thought if it looks good on the outside, it must smell good. And it did! The scent accompanied me and made me feel super elegant and feminine. It became addictive; every time I passed the store, I had to go in and put on perfume. I arrived in my city and rushed to buy it. Now I don’t use it as much, only for special occasions. I think it works all year, but I like it more in summer than in winter because it reminds me of my June honeymoon, which was very hot. P.S. It seems similar to Narciso Rodriguez for Her, but here the rose is less intense and gives the starring role to the orange blossom.

A masterpiece by Francis Kurkdjian, I love it, it’s one of my favorites, I already have 3 bottles… it can’t be missing from my vanity. It’s fine, elegant, feminine, sophisticated, with a touch of honey and a mysterious orange blossom. I feel like a Middle Eastern princess when I wear it, hehe. Good sillage, longevity, it lasts on skin and clothes, it’s the best.

  • It’s my favorite perfume of all time. I just… love it so much. Its scent is fine, elegant, and seductive; its sweetness is wonderful. Its longevity is incredible; it lasts until the next day. I’ve bought it many times and receive many compliments.

  • Blind buy. I wanted something elegant and classy without knowing anything about the brand, so I chose Le Parfum Intense. I smelled it and fell in love instantly. It’s a gentleman’s perfume. Maximum elegance, delicate, sublime. It calls for fine attire, a blazer, and a stiletto heel. It’s powerful; when I wear it, people say: ‘You smell like expensive perfume’. Good sillage and longevity. A work of art. I see it as ideal for ages 40 and up.

It’s super enveloping, fine, sexy, and elegant. The scent stands out and provides incredible comfort, and the dry-down is delicious and very long-lasting. At the end of the day, when I shower with warm water, the scent rises and stands out one last time. So delicious, it makes me feel sexy all day, I love it. By the way, I’ve been told it might be discontinued.

From the first spray, it smells luxurious. I knew the Le Parfum version and made it my signature; I loved it for the scent and performance, but nothing else convinced me. Recently I bought the Intense and was surprised. Here, orange blossom reigns, embraced by honey. Other flowers like ylang-ylang and rose are there, but barely noticeable. Patchouli is also present but very subtle. What screams is orange blossom and honey. For me, it’s the perfect perfume for a bride, a commitment sealed with honey. It’s luxury, distinction, delicate, and elegant. It attracts gazes and compliments. Ideal for special events and autumn or winter nights. It lasts titanically, about 8 to 10 hours. Does it resemble Le Parfum? They share the perfumer but are distinct. For me, Le Parfum is for the day, with noticeable jasmine; the Intense is for special occasions and nights.

From the first spray, it smells luxurious. I knew Le Parfum and made it my signature, but I looked for other Elie Saab versions and none convinced me until I tried this Intense. Here, orange blossom reigns, embraced by honey. Other flowers like ylang-ylang and rose are barely perceptible. Fortunately, the patchouli is there but very subtle. What screams here is orange blossom and honey. For me, it’s the perfect perfume for a bride; the scent of a commitment sealed with honey. It’s luxury, distinction, delicate, and elegant. A head-turner that invites compliments. For special occasions and autumn/winter nights. Titanic longevity, about 8-10 hours. Does it resemble Le Parfum? They share a perfumer but are distinct: Le Parfum is for the day with jasmine in the forefront, while this Intense is for special evening events.

  • The princess of the Middle East. To start: it’s ideal if you like white flowers. It’s more intoxicating and intense than Le Parfum. Strong, with character, but without losing its femininity and sophistication. It’s luxurious, highlighting the honey, amber, and orange blossom. It’s sweeter than Le Parfum, but it doesn’t quite reach gourmand territory; it maintains the designer’s oriental style. It shines in cold climates and evening events. Great for weddings or elegant parties. Good longevity and projection. It’s complex and beautiful.

Just arrived and I’ve already tried it: I absolutely loved it. I took the plunge and ordered it online because it’s no longer sold here (it was the only one left in the catalog). No regrets; it’s super elegant and feminine. Instantly smells like orange blossom, I also detect jasmine even though it’s not listed, all wrapped in amber and a fine honey that isn’t cloying and dominates as it dries. I’d give it ‘I love it’ if it weren’t for that touch of patchouli that doesn’t agree with me, though here it’s very soft, so I’m leaving it at ‘I like it’. The longevity is top-notch, typical of this brand. Perfect for the upcoming spring.
