  • What a pity that hidden treasures like Kintsugi get lost behind the brand’s stars like Tango or L’Attesa. Most people don’t even bother to smell or investigate thoroughly, missing scents that, in my opinion, offer a thousand times more originality and creativity than those two. Kintsugi is an absolutely irreverent and transgressive chypre, impossible to confuse with anything. The scent is quite polarizing and purposeful. The base has a classic chypre, an earthy aroma that smells very much like petrichor; combined with the suede note, it highlights the wet forest scent even more. It reminds me slightly of Etat Libre d’Orange’s Hermann. Over that austerity blooms a very green violet that adds freshness and lightness to the fragrance, as if suddenly the sun broke through in the forest and a rainbow appeared. The two notes that give the scent its character and personality are the raspberry—very juicy and fruity—and the rose, which is fleshy, dark, and mature. These two notes shine in the mid-stage and balance the petrichor present in the base. A scent for rainy, not-too-hot spring days. Excellent longevity. Unisex.

  • What a shame that hidden gems like Kintsugi get overshadowed by the brand’s stars like Tango or L’Attesa. Nobody stops to investigate or dig deeper, missing scents that, for me, far surpass those two in originality and concept. Kintsugi is an irreverent, transgressive chypre that’s impossible to confuse with anything else. The scent is polarizing and full of character. The base features a classic chypre—earthy, smelling strongly of petrichor—which, paired with suede, amplifies the wet forest vibe. It reminds me a bit of Etat Libre d’Orange’s Hermann. Over that dryness blooms a very green violet that brings freshness and lightness, as if suddenly the sun came out and a rainbow appeared in the forest. The notes that give it personality are the juicy, fruity raspberry and the fleshy, dark, mature rose. These stand out in the heart and balance the petrichor in the base. Ideal for rainy, not-too-hot spring days. Excellent longevity. Unisex.

Wow, I fell in love with it instantly upon first spray. It opens with fruity notes featuring a green cherry and earthy undertones, sitting atop a backdrop of suede and ethereal rose. Ten minutes in, the full orchestra of violet, vanilla, and resins adds depth and power. It reminds me of Aquila Absolute Electimuss—same vibe, striking resemblance; I adore both. Kintsugi is more delicate and powdery, but that touch of suede and green cherry makes it incredibly sexy. It’s not a beast in projection: the first few hours are great, then it becomes a personal bubble that keeps you in a good mood. Highly versatile, perfect as a unisex signature scent for elegant looks. Super recommended for all seasons, maybe not summer, but if you want to wear it, no law forbids it. On my skin, it lasts about 12 hours with nice sillage after work. I love it. Scent: 9.0/10 Trail: 8.5/10 Projection: 8.0/10 Longevity: 9/10
