I never sought confrontation, but these reviews leave me speechless. People read the notes and assume that’s what it smells like: is it a doll scent? Is it ‘never before seen’? Is it weird neroli… I read everything before buying, assuming it would be strange and groundbreaking… a perfume that splits users into two camps: haters or lovers, never indifferent… My conclusion is clear: 90% of the ‘experts’ on YouTube and forums have NEVER heard of Mugler’s ANGEL. Because this is neither more nor less than the classic Mugler Angel. Even Angel is more complete and complex than Gozo. Gozo is a downgraded Angel, pure patchouli with ambroxan. I’ve been testing it for a week and now I have one in each hand. If I shower, when I step out, where I put Angel smells like Gozo, and where Gozo was, there’s nothing left. It’s the Emperor’s New Clothes story: everyone described a wonderfully dressed masterpiece, but it was ‘naked’.

Absolutely no joy here, it smells like pure repulsion. Every nose is a world, but I don’t get the hype. It’s an acidic, aggressive neroli trying to be sweet with ambroxan and only manages to amplify the stench. I imagine this is what a 90s adult store would smell like: synthetic, acidic sweat, cheap invasive perfumes, and cheap plastic. The blotting paper still smells a week later. Now the base patchouli is showing and it’s slightly more pleasant, but I wouldn’t go through hours of suffering to reach that phase, which is nothing special. I haven’t tried it on skin because it seems to stick like a tick and it repulses me. As @soyfemenina says, you’ll make a statement, and a loud one! But not a good one. There are perfumes for the 99% and others like this that might please the 1% while disgust the rest. If you buy this blind, you’re 2025 daredevils: 110 euros for 30 ml of toxic slop. One of the worst I’ve ever smelled, by far the worst of 2025. Au revoir!

Spectacular scent, but I feel it doesn’t last long. It’s elegant, you can feel it, but I’m not sure if it projects or leaves a trail.
I absolutely loved the opening—it felt floral and boozy all at once. I fell in love at first sight, and then it just kept getting better; I could really smell that rich, delicious woodiness. After two hours, it turned a bit more powdery but still absolutely delicious. It’s more of a feminine scent, but I think a man could wear it really well too, since the wood gives it so much power. It’s long-lasting with great sillage. It’s refined and a little different: you walk in and everyone notices you’ve arrived. You can’t go wrong! 🎉
I loved the opening; it felt floral and liquorish at the same time. I fell in love at first sight, then I kept liking it; I could feel the rich woodiness, very rich. After two hours, I felt it became more feminine but still delicious. It’s more of a feminine scent, but I think a man could wear it very well, since the wood gives it power. It’s long-lasting with good sillage. It’s refined and slightly unique: you walk in and everyone notices you’ve arrived; you can’t go wrong 🎉

Delicious fragrance, woody floral with a hint of musk, unisex. Lasts 8 to 9 hours on skin, versatile enough for any season. A masterpiece of a composition.
