  • I’d like to try it, even though I’m not a fan of aquatic notes. The original Joop is one of my favorite perfumes, so this looks promising and piques my curiosity.

  • On paper, it’s not bad: a fresh aquatic with the Joop seal, fun and youthful. More than for sports, I think it works better at night. It reminds me of that wet violet unisex from Halloween. Recommended, 6.5/10.

I don’t find it interesting as a flanker; it’s more for a youthful, nighttime crowd. It’s so light it seems to disappear into the air. It has a hint of the original Joop’s sweetness, but the rest of the notes are barely noticeable. It feels too faint, and that sweetness in summer might annoy more than please. Seems underdeveloped, plastic, and not adult enough, plus it has poor performance. The only good thing is 32 euros for 200 ml, great for those looking to save.

  • Not my style; it smells too salty and lasts all day. At first, you catch a bit of mint and a sweet tonka touch, plus a marine note that gives it a synthetic aquatic vibe, but everything gets drowned out by the salt on full blast.

  • I bought the 200 ml at a laughable price, and while it starts fresh, after two hours that typical sweet Joop Homme note takes over. On my skin, it lasts more than twelve hours. A solid perfume for those 24.95 euros.

  • Exactly what they should have done: a more modern and subtle Joop Homme, designed for today’s youthful taste but keeping the memory of the original. I’m still with the old one, but this modernization is very worthy. While it recalls the mother, it has its own personality. It’s a ‘sport’ fragrance that works even in the cold, with gin-tonic notes that refresh all year round. Decent projection, high potency, and you’ll definitely get compliments. I’ve rediscovered it in my collection.

On paper it was good, but on the skin it’s a whole other level: fresh, summery, and long-lasting, though don’t overdo the sprays or it becomes overwhelming. Four sprays are enough. Smells like mint, bergamot, and ginger—a typical fun summer scent, very similar to Gaultier’s Le Beau Male, but perfect if you don’t know what to wear that day.
