It starts with a pleasant detergent-like smell: lavender, soft smoke, and vanilla. This stage lasts an hour and then transforms into intense chestnut, keeping the vanilla with that slight lavender touch. At 4-5 hours, the lavender and smoke disappear, the vanilla continues, and the chestnut drops to something more pleasant until it fades. Longevity: 10 hours, with 4 hours of intense projection that fade over time. It smells rich, warm, and versatile, like a dessert. Sillage: noticeable up to 2 meters in the first 5 hours with 5-6 sprays. Notes: youthful, sweet, gourmand, pleasant, and synthetic. It lasts a long time on clothes and smells exquisite. Never use in heat (above 25°C), better in cool climates or at night. Look for a fair price; in department stores it’s around 3200 Mexican pesos (160 dollars), but you can get it for 1800 or less (90 dollars). Sometimes it smells like habanera instead of chestnut, but that’s normal.
I tested this fragrance on my skin at a perfumery and, honestly, I was hooked on its aroma for days! Even though it’s an EDT, its dry-down is spectacular, deep, and captivating. It’s sweet, gourmand, and extremely seductive. If you love sweet perfumes, it’s a perfect option that won’t disappoint. Be careful with the heat, because the intense trail can be overwhelming. Overall, it’s a gem for those seeking something warm and enveloping, ideal for cool nights or special moments. A must-have for lovers of sweet and elegant scents!
Rich smoky vanilla scent and very long-lasting, too long, I’d say… +9 hours on skin!
OH MY GOD, PERFUME, but only for dates, special occasions, and when it’s freezing outside. It’s sensational and a total beast mode. Sweet, chestnut scent with a fresh opening. AVOID COMPLETELY IN HOT WEATHER.
The scent is quite weak; I didn’t feel anything special until I started thinking it smells cheap.
If you’re going on a date and want to smell like ‘please test me,’ this is the perfume. It’s sweet and potent, though it gets cloying at some point, so don’t abuse the sprays. For me, it’s a 9/10.
I’ve had this bottle since 2018 and it still isn’t empty. At first, I was blown away by how satisfyingly sweet it is, but nowadays it sounds just like many trendy perfumes. In 2025, sweeter and more modern proposals have overshadowed it. I’m using it now on cool days just to finish the bottle and finally cut ties with any SWY, because it just doesn’t suit me anymore.
Maybe I’m half crazy, but I liked this more than the Intensely version. Honestly, it feels more sophisticated and isn’t as heavy; I wear it casually on a date without overwhelming anyone. Gentlemen, stand up… this is one of the best dry-downs you can smell in a long time. Use it whenever you want, but if you don’t want to kill someone, avoid the heat. This is pure autumn and winter.
You might hate me, but this beats its flanker, the Intensely. It’s more versatile, fresher, and doesn’t give you as much ‘diabetes’ from the sweetness. It feels more mature without losing the sexy DNA. For dates, parties, and performance, the finesse is there.
I took a risk buying Emporio Armani Stronger With You for two reasons: I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and try vanilla and caramel, which are trendy, and because I read many reviews. Armani is my favorite, but only for Acqua di Gio and Pour Homme. It arrived by mail and was the ultimate test in winter in Europe. Upon applying it, I had a slight disappointment: I read it was potent, but I only felt something pleasant until it settled. Then it changed completely! Vanilla with alcohol notes like whisky or rum and a smoky touch. It smells comforting, like a hug. Even though I was congested, I could clearly smell the trail as I walked. The longevity was decent, though I expected more based on the reviews. It’s a great creation by Armani, but I think the Spices or Absolutely versions are better. If you catch it at a good price, it’s a win. Rating: 8/10.
Sweet but masculine, with a vanilla scent, clearly for cool environments. I’ve worn it at the office, yes, on cold days with air conditioning and just 2 sprays; if you overdo it, you annoy everyone. Ladies love it, they always ask what I’m wearing. I don’t know the Absolutely or Intensely versions, but I’ve heard they are much sweeter, and if that’s true, I wouldn’t buy them. I think this first version is right at the limit of tolerable sweetness; anything stronger would be too cloying.
Totally cloying, very sweet, lasts many hours and on clothes for days. I’ve had it for over 4 years and don’t use it because it’s impossible to live with.
Fragrance purchased on 04/24/2024. Stronger With You is sweet, fougere, and has a very distinctive youthful aroma. Exclusive for winter or autumn; the first two hours project about two meters away. It has that sugary sweetness of chestnuts and vanilla. On my skin, it lasts less than five hours, projecting strong and sweet for the first two hours. The smoky notes appear as it dries down, giving it that distinctive sweet smoked chestnut scent. In conclusion, I highly recommend it for cold climates. A sweet bomb with a distinctive aroma compared to many other sweet fragrances.
Very rich for cold weather, smells like a jar of canned peaches. Sweet without being cloying and without spices, it’s a calm and easy-to-wear scent without worrying about what people might say at the street or a party. Normal longevity, about 5 hours.
Really good perfume, ideal for autumn, versatile, and a huge hit on dates. On my skin, it doesn’t last as long as others say; even with 10 sprays, I have to reapply every 4 hours (Bach 2024). That’s its only weak point, but everything else is a 10. The quality and the chestnut scent are truly charming. 9/10.
The must-have for autumn and winter… I’ve owned and sold it used because everyone loves it, but I always end up buying it again. Chestnuts, lavender, vanilla… and other notes that make it incredibly delicious. Sweet but not cloying. It’s spectacular for dates and night outs. Even though sweet perfumes are trendy right now, I believe this is one of the most important and pioneering ones. I give it 10/10.
Simple yet rich; on my skin, it highlights the fresh and fruity notes, making it more versatile than the general consensus suggests. It has that Azzaro Wanted DNA but with way less amber, more like an EDT. The only thing I don’t love is that after 3-4 hours, only the vanilla remains; today I put vanilla body lotion on my dog, and we smell identical, haha.
Addictive and sweet for cold days or dates, without reaching the cloying intensity of the Intensely version. Very wearable and great performance 🫰🏽
“Aromatic Fougere family” XD
It’s a rich and sweet scent without being cloying, and it’s a real joy to wear. For an EDT, the longevity is surprisingly good.
A little gem for daily use in winter or fall. It works for day and night, as long as the weather is cold.
Excellent perfume. I love the entire line to the max. I’m hooked; each has its nuances; this one is more wearable, more versatile, but still excellent. 9/10.
If you like sweet fragrances, this is a great option to buy blind. It was the first one I got, and it’s truly enjoyable.
These are exquisite perfumes to wear for a while; wearing them for more than two hours gets tiring and becomes cloying. I believe a perfume should be versatile, and this isn’t. It’s great for strolling or meeting people, but if you go to the movies or are in a car, you and others will get dizzy. Be humane and limit it to three sprays max; those who over-spray in enclosed spaces ruin the atmosphere.
I imagined it to be much sweeter. If it is, the lavender refreshes it quite a bit. It lasts very well and smells great—a sweet scent that isn’t cloying.
I tried it at a department store and had to wash it off with water because the projection was so strong. I also tried Jazz Club and By The Fireplace, which reminded me of SWY but with better performance. I bought the original and love the scent, but I’m disappointed with its performance; after a few minutes, I can’t smell it even after spraying it many times. I’m not sure if it needs more maceration, if I got a defective bottle, or if it was reformulated. Very delicious but doesn’t last at all.
The most versatile option in the line for winter and fall; in warm climates, use it at night with two hours’ lead time if you’ll be indoors. It’s sweet, but lavender balances it out. When it dries down, it’s exquisite. Lasts about 6 to 8 hours on skin and two days more on clothes. It doesn’t turn heads negatively; people are sure to fall for it.
This has been my favorite line for a long time. The EDT is the base: incredibly sweet, radiant, and versatile, perfect for any occasion. Its balanced sweetness is easy to enjoy, and unlike others, it maintains an ideal lightness for day and night. It leaves a great impression on anyone. I love it so much that I consider it the perfect duo with the Tobacco version, which is more serious but shares the same DNA. So far, it’s the one that has earned me the most compliments. The combination is elegant, modern, and enveloping. A must-have. Scent: 10/10, Longevity: 9/10, Duration: 6-8h, Projection: 9/10, Score: 9.3/10.
I’ve had this since 2017, just a month after its release. I was looking for Polo Red Intense when a salesperson suggested this new launch. I tried something I wasn’t used to smelling—a warm, vanilla-based commercial scent. It hit me hard, and I wanted it. It became my signature scent, the one that makes people say, ‘That’s your smell.’ Today, anyone can get it, but I’ll never forget how it made me feel and what it projected. It’s simple and synthetic, but I remember every detail because it’s part of my story. It smells sweet and can be overwhelming if overused; use it with respect. Even though it’s an EDT, it lasts 10 hours on my skin and even longer on clothes.
STILL RELEVANT FOR A REASON: a very interesting and pleasant fragrance. Starts sugary/spiced, which I perceive as the best phase; then it turns a bit citrusy/vanilla (I thought I remembered it had pineapple) and finishes more with lavender, but at all times maintains a pleasant sweetness, NOT sticky, cloying, or gourmand; a sweetness that I find is more youthful. It gets compliments well; people tell me I smell rich and ask for the name, nothing negative. I’ve used it in the office, although I think it would be wonderful for dates; I plan to use it in temperate or cold climates, not in extreme heat or summer; it seems more seductive and nocturnal. Its performance is moderate; it’s an EDT that lasts on skin for 4-5 hours, projects strongly for the first hour, then reduces potency, seems to have a noticeable sillage; on clothes it lasts longer, where it’s perceived subtly the next day. The price seems high for the performance; I think you’re paying more for the brand since I don’t find exceptionally natural or extraordinary quality facets that justify the cost, but I’m not an expert. Compliments 8, Longevity 6, Projection 8, Sillage 7, Price 7, TOTAL 7.2.
Smells great and isn’t cloying as one might expect; lavender dominates and softens the sweetness, making it very versatile and long-lasting.
Sensual and delicate. This fragrance has a refined, vanilla sweetness, not cloying, with vibes of delicacy I can’t explain very well; it’s like shy (not negatively) and at the same time with its charm. No note is superfluous or missing; they all complement each other exquisitely. I own the Azzaro TMW EDP Intense, and it reminds me quite a bit of that perfume despite not sharing notes. If you already have that, acquiring this SWY EDT is redundant. However, being a bit softer makes it more versatile and not as exclusive to winter/autumn use as the Azzaro could be. Looking for the difference in use by intensity while maintaining the same olfactive profile, I would use this SWY for everyday wear without problem as long as the weather is fresh, and the Azzaro for parties, open places, and areas with higher olfactory pollution. For dates, it’s perfect, as since it’s not extremely aggressive, it doesn’t bother if you’re close to the other person for the whole time. For me, this SWY EDT is superior to the Intensely version, which smells like a $25 Arab perfume (Lattafa Khamrah) and is just TikTok hype.
They gave it to me for Christmas, and it’s one of those perfumes I like more in theory than in practice. It smells good, works well, fulfills its function, it’s sweet and seductive but inherently masculine. For me, it’s like a contemporary substitute for One Million. The chestnut note gave it novelty, the sugar and vanilla made it palatable, the lavender made it balsamic, and the tonka masculinized it and gave it body. It’s okay, no more. The main problem is that it’s astringent to the max. It becomes chemical; if you spray more than three times, it becomes annoying, even causing migraines. It also has the drawback that with the Intensely hype on TikTok, it’s a very overused DNA. It lasts and projects. It’s loud and noticeable. It’s perfect for night outs and fun. I wouldn’t use it for everyday or office wear. The Intensely version softens and tempers it, going towards something more melodic and less astringent (though it’s not the gem they say, overvalued in my opinion). The good part, in my opinion, is the ABSOLUTELY. Same DNA, but with rum and woods that make it more serious, mature, and noble. To summarize: if you’re young, want to hit the mark, and don’t want to complicate things, go for it.
Seductive and warm fragrance, ideal for young, handsome men. For everyday wear, whenever it’s cold, it’s fantastic; it has presence and longevity, but it’s not extremely sweet, more like a nutty scent. Good longevity of 8 hours, gets compliments, and the packaging is simple but the fragrance is super rich. I recommend buying it blind; I prefer it over Stronger with You Intensely because this one is less sweet and more versatile.
Just opened my 2024 batch bottle. First surprise: upon spraying, it triggered an olfactory memory of Armaf Odyssey White. The opening smells 90% the same, so the scent doesn’t dazzle me because I’ve already smelled it in another perfume. Once it dries down and triggers again in a few weeks, I’ll edit.
Another fragrance that’s trendy and people worship it without reason. It’s an EDT and smells like an EDT (watch out, there are good ones; this isn’t one). You barely notice evolution between the listed notes or consistency of half of them. It smells like super soft lavender with a hint of sclarea (I suppose sage), with a sugary opening. No chestnut or vanilla. After a few minutes (because by an hour there’s no trace unless you sprayed 10 times), it gets slightly sweet, but if it’s vanilla, it’s the most synthetic and distilled in the world. It smells good, clean, youthful, but smells like nothing and is incredibly boring. I don’t see the price justification. There are other EDTs at Zara with better performance for five times less. If you like it, find another alternative or go for the Absolutely version; it doesn’t smell the same, but at least it’s not an outrageous price.
I own this fragrance, and it’s not the first time. Every time I run out, I rush to get more. Basically, it’s one of the best things out there today, and when it comes to sweet perfumes, it’s undoubtedly THE BEST. Projection is very far-reaching, very rich, long-lasting, and most importantly… women love it.
What else can I say? I had it, and when it ran out, I was in mourning for a week. It’s sensual and younger than the EDP, but this EDT version has its own charms. A woodsy scent from the first minute that enchants and captivates everyone; it’s the fragrance that has earned me the most compliments. And what more to add: time has proven me right. I count the days until I have it in my hands again.
One of the best fragrances for winter and cold weather. It’s an olfactory beast; I love the DNA of Stronger with You. A true gem, 10/10.
Bought it for the hype and was initially disappointed: smelled strongly of chestnut, gave me headaches, and everyone noticed. I stopped using it halfway and decided to let it oxidize in the box all summer (best idea ever). After months, it smells exquisite; you can smell the lavender and vanilla, it’s addictive. In the dry-down, the chestnut returns but smells great, though I still remember the first few times. I recommend buying it in summer when the price drops and letting it mature; you won’t regret it. It’s a good price, and although it gave me headaches at first, now I get compliments.
