The fragrance isn’t very pleasant and doesn’t last long. I hate this perfume, I owned it, and I criticize it.
Joop! Go is fresh, citrusy, and very green. Yes, it’s for daily use: work, an afternoon walk, or even grocery shopping. It’s not cloying or intrusive; it’s a citrus-green punch with a sweet touch. The only thing I criticize is the longevity. Otherwise, a very good option for summer or when you don’t know what to wear.
I remember when it smells like a fruit salad: an earthy, green, and intense vibe. When you cut rhubarb and green apples, that scent floats, then shifts to oranges and resin. The woody notes aren’t very defined, but once it settles, subtle fir resins appear, along with a smell like new shoe soles, soft sweet leather. If you buy it, use it during the day: pleasant, energizing, fresh, and sexy, capable of handling chaos with elegance without overpowering. It’s not for going to the gym, the beach, and then a bar at night; that’s for crazy people. If you’re on a tight budget, think about what you want it for and look for something in between.
I’ve been wearing this perfume for fifteen years. A patient recommended it to me when I was treating her, and since then, it’s been my signature scent. The aroma is rich and long-lasting, although it’s hard to find nowadays. It will always have a place in my collection; great for daily wear. 👍👌
Bought this fragrance hoping to try something different from the Joop range, and honestly, I was disappointed. The opening smells like alcohol, and the citrus-fruit nuances fade within minutes, leaving a very simple cologne. There are better options for the price. It’s rare to see it still around in 2022; the scent isn’t offensive but doesn’t stand out either. Poor value for money. I own several Joop perfumes that I love, and this is the one I dislike the most.
