Confirmed discontinued: you can’t find it in boutiques or on Dior’s official site. Better to stay silent so I don’t ruin the moment and let one of my olfactory loves go. I have 5ml left that I’ll save for a very special occasion. 🖤🧡🤍

Undoubtedly reminded me of Shalimar, but for the price, I’ll stick with Guerlain or one of its derivatives.

A true gem. Everything said about this almost mythical fragrance is true; it’s absolutely wonderful. Despite being described as ‘gourmand,’ it doesn’t smell like dessert or make me crave food. Instead, I detect lavender, tonka bean, cherry, caramel, and chocolate in a perfect blend where no single note dominates. Sophisticated, elegant, and feminine in my opinion, with excellent performance. Perfect.

Wow, this smells amazing. It has all the ingredients of a gourmand perfume I love. You can smell the vanilla, chocolate, and caramelized sweet notes; lavender is also present, but don’t be alarmed—it’s very well integrated and doesn’t smell like masculine lavender. In fact, I think the lavender is what gives it that distinctive character. All ingredients are beautifully blended, creating a precious composition. In fact, every time I wear it, I seem to notice a different ingredient more: sometimes more cherry, other times more chocolate… Try before you buy. I had a sample that didn’t grab my attention at first, but when I used it again, I fell in love. If you’re a gourmand lover, you’ll surely like it, but don’t risk buying it blindly at that price because its scent is particular. As for longevity and projection, it’s phenomenal for me: I can still smell it all day. Totally unisex.

This masterpiece, this delight, was a gift from a very special perfumery friend. Since he counts it among his favorites and I adore him, I won’t be impartial, but just smelling it will tell you my opinion wouldn’t change. Feve Delicieuse is truly good: it’s dark, cozy, and practically edible. An elegant gourmand of the rare kind. I detect tonka bean above all, surrounded by lavender (at the start), vanilla, caramel, coconut, chocolate, and a woody base. It behaves quite linearly, but it’s so delicious that it’s forgiven. It’s completely unisex. Its trail is moderate but noticeable; it stands out without trying too hard. Longevity on my skin is about 8 hours. I wish it were eternal because it’s a masterpiece. I never thought I’d find a gourmand appropriate for elegant, formal, and sophisticated events, but that day has arrived. Scent 10/10, Longevity 8/10, Sillage 8/10, Value for money 6/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 7/10. Would I buy it again? I haven’t bought it (yet).

Feve Delicieuse is an ode to a wonderful tonka bean, holding hands with chocolatey lavender, where everything else just complements. A slightly non-gourmand vanilla, natural cherry, coconut, something resinous, nothing floral but quite woody in the dry-down without losing that edible touch. At first, it seems to have little projection; it’s one of those treasures that develops over time. It has good sillage and longevity of about 8 hours. It reminds me in its dry-down of the 2007 Dior Homme Intense version. Another work of art, luckily discontinued. Yes, I understand those who say it has a certain Angel DNA by Thierry Mugler (though it doesn’t remind me of it at all). I’ve fallen in love to the point where it will become my go-to for formal events. A luxury elixir, but luxury, luxury, luxury, in a sober yet beautiful bottle. Of what I could try from Dior’s private collection… it was mind-blowing. Next review… its western cousin… Boys by Arget.
