Dior Grey is the perfect spring day: blue sky, fresh breeze, clouds moving fast, like in Andorra. It’s a modern chypre: wet oakmoss, citrusy early rose, and a non-animalic amber. It suits anyone, regardless of gender, marital status, or age. It’s for those who want to feel clean, fresh, elegant, distinguished, discreet, free, and airy. Light yet powerful, it revitalizes you and gives a great visual boost. People say it’s light, but it’s not ethereal; it has good fixation and medium-low sillage. Very versatile. Very perfect. Very Dior.

  • Interestingly, it reminds me of a soft spring rain day—grey but gentle, caressing us without the chill. It opens bright and sparkling, then evolves into a modern chypre with rose and lots of oakmoss. That’s why I sense an ozonic touch. The trail is low and fades quickly; it lasts at most 3-4 hours. It’s unisex, perfect for resting your nose or wearing to work, but it stays very subtle on me. If Bottega Veneta is similar but more potent, I’d lean toward that. I don’t know what’s wrong with Dior’s exclusive line; most don’t meet my expectations, especially not at this price. Scent 6/10, Longevity 3/10, Sillage 6/10, Value 2/10, Versatility 5/10, Packaging 7/10. Would I buy again? No.

  • Dior Grey is one of the most beautiful chypres I’ve ever smelled. I’d read it was about ‘light and shadow,’ and now I understand. It opens bright and sparkling, then settles into a fresh, powdery rose with violet or iris. The base is a creamy blend of sandalwood, patchouli, and oakmoss; it smells like rain-soaked earth. It’s not sweet—it’s floral, earthy, aromatic, and clean. Formal, elegant, and versatile. Unisex, though I think it leans more toward women. Moderate projection for the first hour, then intimate; lasts about 4-5 hours, max 6. I know others get 8+ hours, so test it on your skin. In short: a beautiful, quality scent, but regular performance on me and a high price. For now, I’m not taking it home.

I absolutely loved this experience. It’s one of those perfumes that you instantly connect with. It’s different, in a good way, elegant, and seductive.

At first, it smells like Narciso Rodriguez with floral touches, then it shifts to something purple like Dioramour but less muddled. I imagine it would suit a woman in pastel colors. I like it, but I wouldn’t use it much; it feels too sweet and childish, like fresh rosebuds from my childhood. I wouldn’t buy more than 5ml; I can’t see an occasion for it. Very sweet.

I received it yesterday, and although I know it’s authentic since I bought it in-store, I don’t feel that way. Maybe it’s causing me olfactory fatigue, or simply it’s not my thing. 😯🥹 I’ll keep testing it for a few more days 🥲

I received it yesterday, and for some reason, I don’t feel it. I’m sure it’s original since I bought it directly from the house. I’m not sure if this scent gives me olfactory fatigue or what, but I’m 😯🥹 I’ll keep testing it over a few more days 🥲

Correcting my previous review: my nose was saturated. After wearing it for several days, I confirm it’s a masterpiece—elegant and versatile. Once I finish this bottle, I’ll definitely buy a larger size again 😉👌🏻🙌🏻

  • I think this is the most truly unisex fragrance I’ve tried among those marketed as such. It smells authentic and unique. If you’re a guy without an ego, wear it and it will create a special aura around you. On my skin, it lasts about 6-7 hours with good projection for the first two hours.

  • I think it’s the most unisex unisex fragrance I’ve smelled among those labeled as such. A totally authentic and unique perfume. If you’re a man without complexes, you can wear it and create a special aura within yourself. Lasts about 6-7 hours on skin, and the projection is quite good for the first two hours.

  • It’s very cute, pretty, and delicate; it makes me feel like a little doll. Although it’s unisex, it leans feminine and makes me think of pink and purple. It reminds me of YSL Parisine due to the dominant rose, but it’s super well-balanced with moss and a hint of citrus. I have 10ml, and although I like it, I’m not sure if I’d spend on the big bottle because it barely projects or lasts, and I wouldn’t pay that much for a personal enjoyment fragrance.

  • To me, it’s a masculine fragrance; I showed it to my husband and he thought it was gorgeous, though he says it’s feminine 😂. It allows for free interpretation, but I see it as masculine because I imagine a handsome, wealthy man playing golf on Sundays. Just to clarify: it’s extraordinary for both men and women!!!

  • To me, it’s a male fragrance; my husband looks gorgeous wearing it on his skin, but he says it’s feminine 😂 It lends itself to free interpretation, but I hold the view that it’s male because when I close my eyes, I imagine a handsome, wealthy man playing golf on a Sunday with it. To clarify, it’s extraordinary on both men and women.

  • Super addictive, smells very sexy. In the dry-down, after six hours, I find a lot of similarity with Rochas L’Homme, a fragrance that isn’t talked about much.

  • Perla Vencis

On my skin, the woods and patchouli overpower the rose, and I can’t really detect the citrus; for me, the rose is shy. If you like scents with lots of wood, this could be your option. The quality is magnificent, and the handling of patchouli with the woods is undeniable, which is why I think it’s more focused on the male sector. Given the price, I suggest trying it before buying. I tested it in a blind test and wasn’t fascinated enough to buy the bottle.

  • Perfect under a light rain: impeccable, restrained, and with silent class. It’s rose-y but without cheap romance, more like a wet petal than an anniversary bouquet. There’s moss, patchouli, and a woody base that holds it up like marble columns: cold, elegant, immovable.

Dior Gray is elegant, pretty, yet simple; it doesn’t turn heads and projects little. It evokes a gray, cold day. The notes don’t lie: on my skin, the oakmoss stands out, along with sandalwood, cedar, and a shy patchouli—not as strong as Mugler’s. The rose and amber don’t dominate, and the bergamot just adds a spark at the start. I repeat, it’s exquisite and elegant, proving you don’t have to be overwhelming to be a great fragrance. I see it for spring, fall, and winter, though it works in summer too; could be a signature scent. Totally unisex; I feel super feminine wearing it, but on a man, it would give an air of security, like high society. People compare it to Bottega Venetta, also elegant, but in my opinion, they’re different. When two perfumes share a note like oakmoss, everyone says ‘it reminds me of X,’ but every nose is different. They share an elegant mossy scent but go in different directions.

Dior Grey is elegant, beautiful, yet simple; it’s not the kind of perfume that turns heads, nor does it project weakly. It evokes a grey, rainy, cold day. Its notes don’t lie, though on my skin what stands out most is the patchouli, sandalwood, cedar, and a touch of vetiver—not the strong Mugler version, but a shy, elegant one. The rose and amber aren’t very prominent, and the bergamot only adds a spark at the start. I repeat, it’s simple but gorgeous, proving you don’t need to be overwhelming to be a fragrance icon. I see it more for spring, fall, and winter, but also summer; it could easily be a signature scent. I see it as totally unisex; I feel super feminine with it, but if a man wore it, it would give him confidence and an air of high society. People compare it to Bottega Venetta, which is also elegant, but in my opinion, they’re not alike. Sometimes when two perfumes share a note, like patchouli, everyone says ‘it reminds me of X,’ just as if it has cherry, they say ‘it reminds me of Lost Cherry.’ Let each person judge for themselves; every nose is different. But even though they share that mossy scent, they follow different lines.

  • Fascinating… How can it be so beautiful, elegant, and subtle? It doesn’t have a strong sillage, but it’s one of those you keep smelling on your wrist. Powdery (if you don’t like it, skip it) and earthy, perfect for those endless rains in Galicia… It compensates for that bone-chilling dampness with a warm touch, rose, and amber that wrap around you. The patchouli is exquisite.

  • Smells amazing. Took me a while to figure out what it reminded me of—Puig’s Azur. It’s a tenth of the price and shares the same notes.
