Chrome Pure by Azzaro

Maybe I got a bad batch, but for me, it doesn’t last even 2 hours. The opening is a gem, but the dry down is terrible. It smells almost synthetic, like an Arabic perfume. It’s supposed to be for men, but I see it as more unisex, leaning feminine. It’s not a summer scent because of the sweetness, but it lacks the punch to stand out in cold weather. I’d say it’s for girls around 20.

Opening: citrus, very refreshing and delicious, not acidic but fresh. But don’t be fooled; that lasts only the first 3-5 minutes; after that, the entire life of the perfume is the cloying generic tonka bean. Too sweet for my taste, I didn’t like it. If they could keep the opening scent going longer, it would be an excellent fragrance. It’s not bad by any means, but I don’t like fragrances with too much tonka bean. Projection is 1 hour, duration is 6 hours.

I wore it blindly at the office and outdoors; it works well in both, though outdoors the performance drops a bit. I reapply at 5 hours, though it’s still detectable; I like feeling the opening again. It’s a solid performer without complaints, though a distinct flanker from the line. Great option with a sweet opening and a fresh, summery dry-down that generates compliments. I think it’s being discontinued.

Then it opens spectacularly with aquatic notes, and the woods take presence. At 4 hours, the tonka bean (which lasts forever), yerba mate, and cedar shine as a base. I loved the bottle; from its presentation, you know what this perfume is about. In summary, a very pleasant experience, and I want it always in my collection.

I don’t think so; it leans masculine, but it would look luxurious on a woman in a white blazer. Note: it doesn’t resemble Invictus at all; it’s more like Be The Legend.

I think sometimes we let ourselves be influenced by the listed notes to create an ‘olfactory image’ of how a scent should smell. Shouldn’t we trust only our nose to judge, without prior info limiting us? In this case, coconut isn’t declared, but it smells like that to me. Maybe the bottle color is trying to refer to this.

It’s not invasive, smells fruity and fresh. The white musk gives it a bit of body and trail that other fresh scents lack. It made a good impression on me, and I adopted it as my daily. My skin consumes perfumes quickly, so I ditched the fresh ones for this summer, but this one surprised me with its longevity. For the price it has, it’s a gem for what it does. Recommended to try.

After a few minutes, it becomes more musky, floral, and pleasant, plus woods and the unmistakable aroma of the original Chrome. It’s versatile and useful in 3 seasons, except cold weather. It projects little and lasts at least 8 hours on my skin. It’s an interesting option at a fair price. The bottle is white glass and looks gorgeous.
