Share what you noticed: opening, drydown, sillage and the moments when it works for you.
Got a bad batch, it barely lasts 2 hours. The opening is pure gold, but the dry-down is a disaster—it smells super synthetic, almost like an Arabic fragrance. Marketed as a men’s scent, but it leans more unisex, even slightly feminine. Too sweet for summer and lacks the punch needed for cold weather. Ideal for 20-year-old girls.
Maybe I got a bad batch, but for me, it doesn’t last even 2 hours. The opening is a gem, but the dry down is terrible. It smells almost synthetic, like an Arabic perfume. It’s supposed to be for men, but I see it as more unisex, leaning feminine. It’s not a summer scent because of the sweetness, but it lacks the punch to stand out in cold weather. I’d say it’s for girls around 20.
Fresh and sweet without being cloying or too crisp; it smells like pure cleanliness and tidiness. The scent is noticeable all day, and people nearby can smell it too. A few reapplications every 3 or 4 hours are enough, but be careful, it sticks to clothes a lot. Not recommended for extreme heat.
Opening: citrus, very refreshing and delicious, not acidic but fresh. But don’t be fooled; that lasts only the first 3-5 minutes; after that, the entire life of the perfume is the cloying generic tonka bean. Too sweet for my taste, I didn’t like it. If they could keep the opening scent going longer, it would be an excellent fragrance. It’s not bad by any means, but I don’t like fragrances with too much tonka bean. Projection is 1 hour, duration is 6 hours.
Citrus opening, super refreshing and delicious, nothing acidic. But don’t get fooled; that lasts 3-5 minutes, then it’s cloying tonka bean for the rest of the time. Very sweet to my taste, didn’t like it. If they kept the opening, it would be excellent. It’s not bad, but I hate fragrances with so much tonka bean. Projection lasts 1 hour, longevity 6 hours.
Bought it in June 2021. Sweet opening, slightly citrusy. Within 5 minutes, it conveys freshness; not cloying in summer, creamy but not like Armani. As it dries, you get aquatic notes, becoming unisex like the original Chrome—fresh, soft, intimate, conveying tranquility and cleanliness. I wore it blindly at the office and outdoors; it works well in both, though outdoors the performance drops a bit. I reapply at 5 hours, though it’s still detectable; I like feeling the opening again. It’s a solid performer without complaints, though a distinct flanker from the line. Great option with a sweet opening and a fresh, summery dry-down that generates compliments. I think it’s being discontinued.
I love it. Not for daily use because the scent, despite being super pleasant, is quite potent. Perfect for a date; it evokes many compliments.
Honestly, I don’t know where to start… It’s simply enchanting; I never thought it would surprise me so much. Since I saw it, it magnetically caught my attention, but when I held it, it was a total revelation. Elegant and fresh without being pretentious. Citrus opening that’s exquisite, sharp with mandarin and bergamot, but from the start, you feel the subtle sweetness of tonka bean and woods. Then it opens spectacularly with aquatic notes, and the woods take presence. At 4 hours, the tonka bean (which lasts forever), yerba mate, and cedar shine as a base. I loved the bottle; from its presentation, you know what this perfume is about. In summary, a very pleasant experience, and I want it always in my collection.
A solid flanker of the line, mandarin and subtle tonka bean with a faint touch of white flowers. As it dries, it smells like coconut or expensive sunscreen; an undeclared note. Very versatile for summer, a good budget option, here it ranges from $30 to $50, almost a sure buy during a sale or clearance. Ideal for white clothes, has a unisex touch. I tested it on a 2ml sample and it lasted over 5 hours with good projection on the wrist and neck.
Chrome Pure summary: A very fresh and floral perfume, that’s the standout. I bought it on clearance because I’d heard of it once and wanted to feel it again. I feel it’s totally unisex, leaning slightly feminine, but wearable by a man if you have the right outfit. I always give it 6-7 sprays; I think that’s the minimum. Price: always look for a clearance deal. *Would love for someone to share a decant of Azzaro Extreme, that’s what I’m looking for*. Rating: Scent 7/10, Longevity 6.5/10, Projection 6/10. *A like if you enjoyed the review*.
Exquisite and simple, slightly citrusy and sweet opening, I think due to the mandarin. It settles into a creamy scent; it doesn’t declare coconut, but my nose detects it as a base note. A special aroma, simple but well-made.
This fragrance pleasantly surprised me. One Sunday afternoon, I went to the mall with my partner as I do every month, almost routine. That day was different because I discovered this Azzaro White and was left surprised… it breaks from the common mold of the 21st-century line. Sweet citrus with excellent longevity; perfect for spring-summer nights, I’d even use it in winter and it would work even better. Thanks for this great perfume.
Such a citrusy sweetness! At first, I thought it would be super fresh, but the dry-down smells a bit like a classic roll-on deodorant, nothing pleasant. The magic happens after it dries; by the second hour, it’s a whole different story. Even though almond isn’t listed in the pyramid, it’s unmistakable. It has a nod to Guerlain’s L’homme Ideal Cologne. People love it and I’ve gotten compliments, though it doesn’t turn my head right now; it feels sweeter than it appears. If you’re looking for something different from that classic and you like sweet vanilla, this is a huge hit.
At first, I struggled to get into this fragrance. It smells one way on paper and another on my skin, I think that happens with everything… but this one felt stranger. It has a ‘chromatic’ character, as the name suggests. Now I only wear it for the tonka bean, which is noticeable from start to finish. Unisex? I don’t think so; it leans masculine, but it would look luxurious on a woman in a white blazer. Note: it doesn’t resemble Invictus at all; it’s more like Be The Legend.
What a beauty! It opens citrusy, fresh, and slightly sweet, with tonka bean in the background and a clean, musky dry-down that almost smells like leather. I think the woody notes and yerba mate give it a spectacular and unique body. It’s addictive. As a fresh scent, it’s very pleasant, and that sweet, clean touch makes it irresistible.

Auntie gave this to my dad, and I was allowed to smell it. He didn’t like it at first and probably won’t wear it, but I loved it 💕. I imagine a man of excellent taste, elegant, sensible, and intellectual wearing it. I have it in mind for my future boyfriend 😊. Update: my dad took his time, but he finally used it and loved it, haha 👍🏻
I think sometimes we let ourselves be influenced by the listed notes to create an ‘olfactory image’ of how a scent should smell. Shouldn’t we trust only our nose to judge, without prior info limiting us? In this case, coconut isn’t declared, but it smells like that to me. Maybe the bottle color is trying to refer to this.
A fulfilling, pleasant fragrance suitable for any occasion: casual, lunch, dinner, friends, or coffee. It also works in the office, though it could get cloying if worn daily due to the sweetness. It smells like a sweet liquor, like a piña colada or something with coconut, quite unisex. It transports me to the Caribbean and its exotic drinks; very pleasant and the longevity is acceptable.
It’s not invasive, smells fruity and fresh. The white musk gives it a bit of body and trail that other fresh scents lack. It made a good impression on me, and I adopted it as my daily. My skin consumes perfumes quickly, so I ditched the fresh ones for this summer, but this one surprised me with its longevity. For the price it has, it’s a gem for what it does. Recommended to try.
A non-intrusive fragrance with a pleasant aroma that’s fruity and fresh. The white musk note gives it body and sillage, something other fresh scents lack. It made a great impression on me, so I adopted it as my daily perfume. My skin usually eats through perfumes quickly, so I had ruled out fresh scents for this summer, which is why I was so surprised by its longevity. For the price, it’s a gem for what it’s designed to be. I recommend giving it a try.
Chrome Pure is the latest variant of the classic Azzaro Chrome. Like this one, it’s fruity and fresh. It’s Azzaro’s adaptation to the current fresh style, with a sweet opening like bubblegum, a bit in the style of Invictus but with its own seal. After a few minutes, it becomes more musky, floral, and pleasant, plus woods and the unmistakable aroma of the original Chrome. It’s versatile and useful in 3 seasons, except cold weather. It projects little and lasts at least 8 hours on my skin. It’s an interesting option at a fair price. The bottle is white glass and looks gorgeous.
Chrome Pure is the fresh evolution of the classic Azzaro Chrome. Like its predecessor, it’s a fruity and fresh fragrance. It fits the current trend of fresh scents: the opening is fruity and sweet, like bubblegum, with a vibe similar to Invictus but with its own signature. Over time, you notice more musk and florals, making it more pleasant, along with woods and that unmistakable Chrome original aroma. It’s super versatile and works in three seasons, except cold weather. It projects lightly but lasts at least 8 hours on my skin. An interesting option at a fair price. The white glass bottle looks gorgeous.
An explosion of citrus, white musk, and yerba mate! Very good for daily wear, work, or hanging out with friends. The tonka bean gives it a sweet and creamy touch. It lasts 6 hours with a projection of 2. Its price ranges around $35-40 online. It’s a good option for all climates except intense cold. In terms of value for money, I give it an 8/10.
