It’s a perfume to use sparingly. I don’t recommend it if you like soft fragrances. Nor for those who prefer to leave a trail of essence around them. Due to its heart note, which is very defined to my taste.
Use sparingly. Not recommended if you’re looking for something soft, nor for those who want to leave a trail. Its heart note is too defined for my taste.
The first time I smelled it, I thought of Loewe Eau de Cologne Intense, though they share very few notes. It’s fresh, delicious, and perfect for those over 25—ideal for hot days with a touch of formality.
The first thing I thought when I smelled it was: Only Loewe Eau de Cologne Intense by Loewe. The curious part is they share very few notes. It’s a fresh and delicious fragrance, targeting ages 25 and up. Ideal for hot days when you need a bit of formality.
A somewhat shy fragrance, similar to Ferragamo Black but more fleeting and citrus-heavy with subtle powdery touches. It stands apart from Azzaro Chrome, which has better sillage and longevity than the United. The opening is deceptive: it gives a false impression of lasting 5-6 hours, but it’s half that and stays very close to the skin. It’s pleasant but fails on projection and sillage… too bad I thought I’d found a great perfume.
A somewhat shy fragrance… It’s similar to Black by Ferragamo; though this one is more ephemeral and loaded with citrus notes with small powdery touches. It’s totally different from Azzaro Chrome, which has better sillage and longevity than the United. The opening is deceptive: it gives a false impression that it will last 5-6 hours, but it’s half of that and very skin-scented. It’s pleasant but lacks projection and sillage… What a pity, I thought I’d found a great perfume.
From the other Chrome line. Starts very citrusy and violet opens up in a few minutes. Pleasant and powdery. Good option for grabbing a drink on a summer terrace. I see it as unisex because the dry down has a fairly feminine touch. Out of all the Chromes, I think this has the most projection or lasts the longest on skin, considering they are quite light. The final part is delightful.
I like it, although I thought it had pineapple notes; it’s the fruitiest aquatic I’ve tried. Back in 2014 it cost an absurd $499 pesos, now it’s double that at around $1,200, but it’s still worth it. Warning: some people can’t tolerate the coriander note, which is present throughout the entire life of the perfume.
I like the fragrance; I thought it had pineapple notes, it’s the fruitiest aquatic I’ve tried. Before (2014) it cost a ridiculous 499 Mexican pesos, now it’s double that and a bit more (1,200), but it’s still worth it. Watch out: some people can’t tolerate the coriander note, which is present throughout the entire life of the perfume, so you’re warned.
Weak! It doesn’t last on the skin at all. Super generic aroma that totally disappointed me. In warm temperatures, it doesn’t even last 3 hours.
Fantastic blind buy; I doubt anyone could dislike it. It’s simple, fresh, and smells clean… A staple that doesn’t overpower and, while it might not be captivating, it certainly won’t offend. It follows the Chrome base, which is appropriate (the scent doesn’t change radically between versions), and unlike limited editions that fade quickly, this stays on my skin comfortably for 7 hours (close to the skin, without invading). Great price, it’s a mandatory wardrobe staple.
Fantastic blind buy; I don’t think anyone could dislike it. It’s simple, fresh, and clean—a non-invasive staple that might not be captivating but is certainly not off-putting. It follows the Chrome base, which is a smart move. Unlike limited editions that fade quickly, this lasts comfortably near the skin for 7 hours. Great price point and a must-have for any wardrobe.
Very good youthful perfume, fresh scent that earns compliments. Moderate longevity, with soft sillage and projection.
A good youthful fragrance with a fresh aroma that earns compliments. Moderate longevity and soft projection.
Smells very similar to Nautica Voyage, but with less cucumber. It’s a very powdery and soft fragrance; the more you wear it, the better it starts to smell. The only flaw is that longevity and sillage are almost non-existent after 2 hours.

Chrome United by Azzaro: the house never misses. From the 70s classics to the Chrome and Wanted lines, everything smells great and lasts longer than super-expensive perfumes. This United caught me off guard: a powerful citrus opening that settles into a fresh, spicy trail lasting 6 hours with a clean feel. How rare is it for a citrus to last this long! At the 4-hour mark, it filled the entire car. Perfect for spring/summer nights at informal gatherings. Any Chrome is a safe bet with the best quality-price ratio. Rating: 8/10
Azzaro Chrome United: the house never misses, delivering excellence from its 1978 classic to the Chrome and Wanted lines, all boasting longevity and sillage that pricier perfumes would envy. This one surprised me: a potent citrus opening that transitions into a fresh, spicy trail lasting 6 hours with a clean finish. I’m amazed a citrus can last this long; by hour 4, it was literally filling the whole car. Perfect for spring/summer nights or casual gatherings. Any of the Chrome scents is a safe bet with great value. Rating: 8/10.
