Azzaro Chrome EDP is citrusy, floral, and woody. It opens fresh with tangerine, then moves into floral lavender with a touch of sweet amber. In the dry down, it leaves pine without losing that fruity vibe. It’s an attractive scent for the office, friends, or any day in spring, summer, or fall. Lasted me 7 to 8 hours: strong for the first hour and a half, then fades but leaves a trail. Compared to the EDT, this is sweeter and more floral, less metallic. It modernizes the classic, leaning into current ‘blue’ scents but with its own personality. Azzaro still offers great value outside of department stores. The navy ombre bottle looks incredible in person.
Reminds me of a mix of Acqua di Gio EDP, Polo Blue EDT, and a bit of Polo Black. Even though it’s an EDP, the longevity feels more like an EDT: about an hour and a half of projection, moderate sillage, and around 5 hours of longevity. If you already own ADG EDP or Polo Blue, this is dispensable. Plus, it’s very expensive; in Uruguay, 100 ml costs $145. Rating: 7/10.
It’s like a mix of Acqua di Gio EDP and Polo Blue EDT, with a touch of Polo Black. Longevity is that of an EDT despite being an EDP: about an hour and a half of projection, moderate sillage, and 5 hours of longevity. Skip it if you already own ADG EDP or Polo Blue EDT. Too expensive; here in Uruguay, they sell 100ml for $145. Rating: 7/10.
Very good perfume. The opening is spicy (lasting maybe ten or fifteen minutes, which isn’t very pleasant), but as it settles, it feels very close to Coach Blue in the heart stage. However, in the dry-down, it’s very similar to Dolce Gabbana Light Blue Eau Intense. In my experience, it has excellent longevity and fixation on skin and clothes.
Great perfume. The opening is spicy (lasted about 10 to 15 minutes and I didn’t like it much), but once it settles, it smells very similar to Coach Blue in the heart. The dry down is almost identical to Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau Intense. It has excellent longevity and fixation on skin and clothes.
In my case, I’d say it’s mandarin and wood; I don’t perceive much lavender since the mandarin dominates, making it slightly sweet. I think it’s very good for extreme heat; the aroma can stand out depending on how many sprays you use. It reminded me a lot of Light Blue Eau Intense but without that salty marine touch. Comparing it to Chrome EDT, I liked the EDT more; it’s good, but I prefer a fresher, cleaner scent. Still, an excellent option for summer if you like the mandarin note.
One of the most realistic green tangerines I’ve ever smelled. Fresh, pleasant, and classic, with a vibrant citrus note that transitions into cool herbs and woods, finishing on a fougère base of damp forest and resin. It’s fleeting, subtle, and calming, masculine to the extreme. Perfect for summer afternoons, relaxed moments, and any age.
One of the most realistic green mandarin scents I’ve ever smelled. A pleasant, fresh, old-school fragrance with a vibrant citrus top that transitions into cool, very green, woody notes, ending in a deep, damp, resinous forest fougère. It’s ephemeral, subtle, calm, and extremely masculine. Ideal for summer afternoons, relaxed moments, and suitable for all ages.
A very enchanting and distinctively citrus opening. It’s easy to wear and use; while it’s not the most elegant in the Chrome collection (for my taste, Azzaro Chrome Pure holds that title), this one stands out for its incredible freshness. Perfect for the office, casual outings, and semi-formal events. Performance is quite good for a citrus/woody blend; personally, I get about 7 to 8 hours, which is great for an outing or a workday. The opening is very citrusy with a well-defined mandarin. To be honest, I barely detect the lavender, but I do get an exquisite pine scent with all its needles. I definitely recommend it and will keep more in stock. In fact, the entire Azzaro Chrome collection is worth having in stock (at least for me).
Not groundbreaking, but a pleasant surprise; I tested it alongside the Parfum and this one won. Sweet citrus opening, followed by subtle lavender and lots of pine. As the description says, it’s simple, but it’s not that classic pine or lavender; compared to the Hugo (2021) in my collection, both have pine but smell like different eras. I personally don’t love pine, but here it works really well. It’s versatile: for work, outings (not parties), or dates. It’s not a typical youthful fragrance; it’s more mature and masculine. Longevity is around 6 hours with moderate projection. I’ve gotten a few compliments, but that’s not its strong suit. I recommend it because it’s often on sale in Argentina.
It’s not groundbreaking, but it was a pleasant surprise. I tested it alongside the Parfum, and this one won. The opening is slightly sweet and citrusy, followed by a very subtle lavender and lots of pine. As the description says, it’s simple, but… it’s not that classic lavender or pine. To compare it with another in my collection, it doesn’t smell like the pine in Hugo (2021); both are dominated by pine, but they smell like different “eras.” Personally, I don’t love pine, but here it works wonderfully. It’s quite versatile, suitable for work, outings (not party-heavy), or even a date, though there are better options for each situation. Just avoid extreme heat and cold. It’s not the typical youthful perfume of today; it’s more mature and masculine. Longevity is around 6 hours depending on the weather, with moderate projection for a good while. I’ve received some compliments, though that’s not its strong suit. I recommend it, especially since it’s often very affordable in the Argentine market.
Very nice perfume, slightly sweet and citrusy. It performs well in summer but can be worn in other seasons without issue. It smells a bit 90s but doesn’t quite reach vintage status; recommended for ages 25+. If you can find it at a reasonable price, it’s a great buy. Sillage and longevity are average, like most fragrances these days.
Azzaro Chrome Eau de Parfum. Azzaro has two distinct lines: Chrome, which is fresh and versatile, and TMW, which features sweet, heavy fragrances. The good news is they don’t tend to discontinue them. This Eau de Parfum is the heavier version of the original Chrome. It opens with bitter mandarin and cayenne pepper, then gives way to middle notes of pine and lavender (it reminds me a lot of my favorite Tommy perfume from 1999, Freedom, which is sadly discontinued). It’s a fragrance to wear all day, every week, as long as temperatures stay above 20 degrees. Perhaps it’s the “least” fresh in the Chrome line, but it’s a very pleasant scent to wear and dress up in, whether casually or for casual outings. When I don’t want to be disappointed, I always go back to Azzaro. It’s one of those perfume houses that never does anything wrong. As for price, they do it better. This fragrance is no exception. Rating: 9/10.
This scent evokes a hiking day in the woods and pine plantations for me. Even though the ingredients are likely synthetic, I perceive a very realistic sensation of being in a forest. It doesn’t overwhelm my senses, but I do enjoy it and find it comforting to wear daily. For that purpose, it fascinates me; it’s a scent that accompanies you, never offends in any setting, and will never leave you looking bad. It’s ideal as a signature fragrance.
I absolutely love this fragrance. No one talks about it on social media, but it’s a beautiful masculine scent. To me, it perfectly balances fresh, green, citrus, musky, and classic notes without feeling dated. It sits in the same family as Chanel Blue but is greener and more classic. In my opinion, it’s the best in the Chrome line. Unlike other Chrome scents or Aqua di Gio, it lacks marine notes, leaning instead into green and citrus. I really like it for that updated yet classic masculine vibe.
