First impressions: My brother wears this, and I tried it because I couldn’t resist the bottle. It’s fresh—citrusy and herbal at first, but on the skin it turns creamy and clean. Perfect for post-shower or bedtime, though it doesn’t have much projection. For me, it’s more of a personal treat.

First time with Azzaro: I bought this Chrome flanker, Under de Pole, for the price. I looked it up online; the name comes from a family sailing in beautiful or hostile places. You can spot the brand on their sponsored sails, just like on the packaging with that family and the diver photos on the box. Skipping the intro: upon spraying, it smells fresh, herbal, and spicy thanks to the citrus and rosemary. Later, the projection fades and it clings to the skin with oakmoss and sandalwood. It’s not very versatile, feels summery, and is perfect for the gym after a shower. It’s not intrusive and people say it smells good, but it’s linear and a bit cliché: a fresh, herbal opening with about four hours of longevity. In short, an affordable fragrance ($26.17 in Argentina) for post-workout freshening up, nothing more.
