I’ve already reviewed Noir before, but among Christian Lacroix’s perfumes, I adore it so much that I can’t leave it here with just a single note (I already have two reviews to my name). I love Noir; it’s one-of-a-kind. I won’t break it down by ingredients because I value it as a whole, and it’s truly irreplaceable. Noir is ethereal and dark, special, very special. Cheers!

Simple and clean fragrance, nothing spectacular but not annoying either. Woody notes dominate with a touch of fresh ginger; the cardamomo is barely noticeable. Reminds me a bit of Hugo XY, but less heavy and fresher. Works well for night and can be worn year-round. Acceptable quality for a catalog product, you can’t ask for more. Scent: 7/10 Longevity: 7/10 Projection: 7/10 Price: 8/10

Simple and clean fragrance. Nothing spectacular, but not offensive either. It feels primarily woody, refreshed by a subtle ginger note. I don’t get much cardamomo. It reminds me a bit of Hugo XY, but less suffocating and fresher. Seems made for night wear and can be used in any season. Good quality, acceptable; given it’s a catalog product, you can’t expect more. Scent: 7/10 Longevity: 7/10 Projection: 7/10 Price: 8/10

It has tobacco notes, very different from Christian Lacroix’s Nuit for Men.
