Descripción
Christian Lacroix Rouge by Avon is a floral chypre fragrance for women. Launched in 2007, this composition was created by Laurent Le Guernec and Carlos Benaïm. The top notes unfold with white pepper, red peony, and orange; the heart reveals carnation, lotus flower, osmanthus, tulip, Japanese plum, and water lily; while the base settles on patchouli, cashmere wood, and musk. The perfume was crowned winner of two awards: FiFi Award Fragrance of the Year Women's Private Label/Direct Sell 2008 and FiFi Awards Best Packaging Women's Popular Appeal 2008.

One of Avon’s most romantic, classy, and trail-worthy fragrances; I still don’t get why they had to discontinue it. A charming chypre, and the best part was the price, even though it smelled expensive. I respect Far Away fans, but aside from its trail and longevity, which is great, for me Rouge is the winner and should have been where Far Away was sold, especially since it shouldn’t be discontinued. Rouge truly lives up to its name ‘ROUGE’ in terms of sensuality, warmth, beauty, and passion. Avon was a huge letdown; I hope TODAY doesn’t repeat the error. I know Avon’s legacy is like that old song by the beautiful Rocío Jurado… ‘Beautiful things don’t last, a flower never lasts two springs’…

I have to say, I tried it a few years ago but it didn’t quite click for me. The scent was too heavy and dense, coming off more unisex than what I was looking for.
I have to admit, I owned it a few years ago, but the scent didn’t really convince me. It was quite heavy and dense, coming off as unisex to me.
One of my all-time favorites! It’s one of my go-to perfumes, and it’s a shame I can’t find it anymore. Whenever I wore it, people always asked for it. The performance was always top-notch, and the longevity is excellent.
One of my all-time favorites. It’s a pity I couldn’t get it anymore. During the years I wore it, I always received lots of compliments. The performance was consistently great, and the longevity is excellent.
I saved the last bit for about 5 sprays. Nothing spectacular or magical, not bad either, but it’s not a scent I miss with nostalgia. Very plain, just another one on the list. I wouldn’t buy it again. I bought it 13 years ago and it finally ran out.
