Just reviewed Noir, my dark and ethereal forgotten love, on the Christian Lacroix list. I was surprised to find Absynthe in the Avon list instead of its own, and I noticed other designer scents there too. What irony, since I complained that Absynthe wasn’t in the magazine, not realizing it was right here at Avon. As for Absynthe: JE T’ADORE, MA FÉE VERTE! Perfect? Maybe for me, and yes, I overrate it, but it has a special blend that could serve as a mold for essences trying to copy that ethereal, psychedelic, and erotic absinthe. I think it could be enhanced with a spicier, sparkly touch, just like Starwalker, which goes straight to the pituitary gland. I’m sorry not to see it more in the market, along with Noir. So far, they’re the only two worth all my attention and love, making me want to fill up boxes. Cheers.
