For the office, if you like it, don’t expect compliments or reactions. It’s discreet, comes and goes: the notes appear, then disappear, come back, and reappear. Lasts about 3 hours max. Requires layering, but smells very gentlemanly.

A correct and polished fragrance. Not groundbreaking, but it handles its notes very well-balanced and isn’t annoying. Ideal for the office or a casual outing. The opening is rich; you can definitely detect the mandarin. In the heart, lavender and vetiver (for my non-expert nose). In the base, cedar and very prominent musk. It’s not bad; it doesn’t make you stand out, nor does it go unnoticed.

Fantastic aroma. Great flanker. Follows the original and the EDP. Opens with a fresh citrus, softly spiced and woody, elegant. It’s not the most sophisticated, but it has evident elegance. Among designer scents, alongside Armani, Chanel, D&G, Dior, and Hermès, it’s one of the most elegant. More elegant things are niche. Unique, nothing compares to it. The elegance is sober, measured, discreet; it doesn’t shout or surprise; it’s noble, simple, and circumspect.

It breaks away from the traditional aquatic fragrance profile. It has ingredients that make it masculine and elegant. It’s versatile: it looks great whether you’re dressed up for a social event or heading to the office. Spectacular!

It gives a more elegant and serious touch than the previous EDP; it’s an incredible fragrance that always leaves you looking sharp. I’ll buy it again when I run out.

What can you say about this perfume bomb? The aromatic quality is brutal. In my opinion, it’s for exclusive use in autumn if it’s mild, or in spring and summer. Winter eats it up. It doesn’t last and project as we all hope for the price paid, really. For me, it’s for any occasion, but dressed moderately well, because it’s a slightly elegant perfume.

It’s rich, elegant, masculine, and versatile. The quintessential daily daytime perfume for all year round: autumn, winter, spring, or summer.

I love this version of Polo Blue; it’s the one that catches my attention the most, possible purchase in the future.

  11. Diego Parfum de Marly

Good perfume, although out of the entire Polo Blue lineup, this is the one I like the least.

  12. Ander 333

At first glance, it smells very similar to Loewe 7 Cobalt. The opening is super fruity and delicious, then it becomes more aromatic, but the dry down is almost identical to that vetiver and incense blend in the dupes. It’s versatile, rich, and elegant. Great initial impression, but needs more testing. Salu2

Super masculine, very elegant. A conqueror. One of my favorites. Mandarin, vetiver, incense. Perfect for special occasions any time of year. Rating: 10/10

  14. An olfactory masterpiece combining freshness, warmth, and depth. Ideal from the first moment for those seeking versatility and balance. Perfect for special occasions or to leave a sophisticated impression. Its evolution is captivating: from a vibrant opening to an enveloping, mysterious dry down. An exquisite choice for lovers of complex perfumes. Note: not all pH levels are the same. If you feel weak projection or it fades quickly, reapply to clothes and skin. Use it without fear; perfumes aren’t meant to last forever.

I tried the EDP and it’s disgustingly generic, smelling like a typical citrus—think Aqua di Gio, Adidas Summer, or Axe Marine. The Polo Blue Parfum is the mature version, with a very masculine oak base and a floral body, so if you don’t like flowers, be aware, but it has plenty of character and intensity. I’m not sure if it’s as summery or more nocturnal; there are better options for daytime, but for a date at the beach on a summer night… wow, this one slays.

I love the scent, which is why I also bought the EDP; both are great, and it’s a lineup that people love to smell on you.

  17. I loved it. It smells blue and marine, but with woody notes that make it versatile and elegant. It doesn’t have great performance, but I think that’s common for all the blues. It has the DNA of all the Polo Blues, and that’s what I love.

  18. A treat for any occasion, though I think it blooms best in spring. Elegant, fresh, woody aroma with a slight soapy touch; very pleasant. It doesn’t last long on skin—about 4 hours, and one more on clothes. Maybe it needs a bit more oxygen to extend longevity. From here on out, totally recommended. 8/10

The Polo Blue Parfum has a more elegant touch than the EDP, though both are fresh; the Parfum is more mature. The main difference is that the Parfum lacks that strong marine note found in the EDP. Instead, the wood is much more prominent, giving it sophistication and body. Plus, the pepper and mandarin create a rich harmony. Longevity is 6-7 hours, but nothing a reapplication can’t fix since it doesn’t saturate. It projects well at first—1.5 hours is great—then it fades, but as it dries, the lavender and jasmine notes develop beautifully and continue to throw throughout the day. It’s a version with more presence and elegance, less fresh than the EDP (which I love), but more sophisticated thanks to the woods and spices. Perfect for all year round, all-terrain, and ideal for special occasions. A gem.

  20. Bought it because of the hype. The trail and projection are very poor; I’m not sure if it needs to mature, but it’s disappointing. Lasts 5 to 6 hours on the skin.

I’ve had it for years. My signature was always Polo Blue EDT, and seeing how the reformulations ruined it, I bought this to see if it could recover what was lost. Unfortunately, it didn’t. It’s rich, yes, but it smells different; I don’t feel the same DNA as the original. I’ll never go back to having that perfume so rich that I never got tired of using it. Nowadays, it smells more like alcohol than perfume, and the EDP and Parfum versions don’t replace the original. It smells more fruity, formal, and fresh, whereas the EDT felt suede-like, with talc notes when dry and white flowers that made it unique. A pity. To avoid spending too much, Natura has a very similar perfume called O2. I say this with knowledge because I know the scent well, and it reminds me of it a lot. Scent: 7/10 Longevity: 8/10 Projection: 6/10 Trail: 7/10 Value: 3/10 Blind buy: 5/10 Versatility: 5/10 Season: warm and temperate climates.

I’ve been wearing it for almost half a year. I asked my partner for a Polo Blue, and instead, he gifted me the Parfum (though the EDP is better and we liked it in-store). To me, the Parfum smells much better; I hate the vetiver note in the EDP, and this one doesn’t have it. The only downside is the longevity and trail, which are almost non-existent, just like in the Double Black. The Blue EDP lasts longer but isn’t the favorite in the line. What a shame that such a good scent has such poor performance.

Yes, gentlemen. The Ralph Lauren Parfum has made its way into my year-round essentials (I’ve even been forced to buy backups, which says a lot). It’s simple: if you’re looking for a perfume with the perfect balance of citrus, marine, clean, crisp, mature, and elegant, this is it. Don’t look further or try to find a flaw; the wheel is already invented. I haven’t smelled a fragrance so well-balanced, fresh, and masculine in a long time. As of today, I rank it alongside Profumo Cedrat Boise and very few others in versatile men’s perfumes to enjoy every day. Absolutely addictive and indispensable. A 10 for the Horsehead brand.

I’ve never tried the Ralph Lauren range before, but I’ve really liked it. More than a summer scent, I see it as autumn, for a mature man in semiformal wear, minimum age 30. It’s elegant but not overwhelming, with moderate longevity, but in a few months once it matures, it looks like it will last much longer. I totally recommend it, even for a blind buy; however, just so you know, I don’t see it as youthful, so young folks, better grab Invictus Platinum or similar.

The undisputed king for me; I already own all three Polo Blues. The longevity is short, but if you spray more, it holds up. Watch out: when it settles, it’s TOO SEXY and doesn’t tire the person you’re with. If you love the line, buy blind. If they improve the quality and longevity a bit, it gets close to niche. The incense gives it class and elegance, maintaining the Eau de Parfum DNA with a spicy and super rough wood touch. It’s addictive; I have it in hand and literally feel happy just holding it. I’d rather buy it again than a Creed Aventus clone.

We all know Ralph Lauren doesn’t make powerful perfumes, but they work on very balanced and well-executed aromas. This Polo Blue Parfum is fresh but elegant, super versatile, and as masculine as it gets. The trail is moderate but hits in bursts reminding you how good you smell. For me, a very good perfume, 8/10.

A very special fragrance, smells different from the rest but very masculine and rich. It’s less versatile than the other Polo Blues, but it has a very special elegant touch that makes it phenomenal. The longevity is good and it projects a lot; with 3 or 4 sprays in half an hour, in a closed space, you can smell it from the front row. In short, a very good fragrance for spring and autumn, perhaps more for daytime. A 7.5 out of 10.

It arrived a week ago. I bought the Ralph Lauren Blue Parfum because I’d been wearing the Eau de Toilette for years and liked it a lot. Logically, I thought it would be similar but more potent, but no; it’s similar but lasts nothing (it smells good, but you don’t even realize you’re wearing it, and less so that people around you perceive it). Next time, I’ll go back to the Eau de Toilette.

Bought it three days ago and wow, what a perfume!! I won’t analyze the notes; I’ll make it easy for the reader. The scent is like AdG Profondo with a darker, warmer twist, making it exquisite: marine, fruity, and elegant beyond measure. Without a doubt, it’s becoming one of my favorites. Great trail, good longevity, great scent, and great versatility.
