Descripción

Chance Eau Tendre by Chanel is a fruity floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2010, this composition was created by perfumer Jacques Polge. Upon release, the scent unfolds with the freshness of quince and grapefruit; the heart reveals the delicacy of hyacinth and jasmine; while the base settles on musk, iris, Virginia cedar, and amber.

My current signature scent… A luminous, juicy, fresh opening… And then it wraps everything in musk; it’s a non-offensive, soft, feminine smell. The only downside is the longevity: on me, it lasts about 3 or 4 hours, but apparently, even if I don’t feel it, it lingers softly on the skin for up to 7 hours maximum. But I don’t mind since I love its scent; I identify with this fragrance. I don’t feel it as imposing or empowered as I once wanted to be; rather, I feel tender and authentic. Every time I apply it, I feel happy and feminine, with a touch of class, perfect for everyday life.

I quite like it when I want something soft; it’s gentle, non-invasive, and personal. It always gives me the impression of smelling like moisturizer. It seems like an excellent option when you want a refreshing, clean, and feminine scent. Eau Tendre is 100% that: a soft, delicate water.

  • Delicious, it’s a fresh aroma, a sweetness that isn’t heavy and youthful, with a wide age range. It’s a shame the longevity isn’t great for the price of an original, otherwise it’s a 10/10. As for dupes, at least Zara’s Apple Juice doesn’t feel the same to me; it feels more like Chance Eau Fraiche than this, and I don’t like that one as much as the others from Chanel. It’s very hard for them to imitate this perfume; the combination of notes is simply perfect.

  • Soft, feminine, dominated by the quince scent. I love wearing it during the day, especially in spring and summer; it makes me feel fresh, clean, and very feminine. Although I don’t like assigning an ‘age’ to perfumes, I think this evokes a young adult woman. My only complaint is that its trail is moderate, bordering on soft, and the longevity isn’t very good. For the price, I expected much more.

  • Very pleasant and feminine aroma, but honestly, I wouldn’t pay today’s price again. I enjoyed the 35 ml bottle, but if I want to smell like this again, I’ll switch to Zara’s ‘Apple Juice,’ which smells very similar (or almost identical), with similar performance but a notably lower price. Just like Tous Love Me (the pink bear one), this version does smell similar and has a much longer trail. I enjoyed it, but I won’t repurchase.

It’s been my favorite perfume for years; I’ve been using it since 2014 and buy it constantly. It’s exquisite, elegant, fresh, and delicate, perfect for spring and summer.

  • A must-have, a delicious fragrance, very feminine, youthful, and it never looks bad; ideal for spring. It’s subtle but present. I highly recommend it for personal use or gifting; it’s one of those fragrances that never fails.

Generally, my skin has terrible longevity with perfumes; even sweat changes their scent… But this… THIS, is a miracle. I never thought I’d find a perfume that would stay with me for so long while keeping its original aroma! It smells soapy, clean, like we’re smelling delicate flower cream. Very feminine and soft, without losing its trail. I love it, nothing more to say.

My husband gifted this to me for Christmas, and at first, I thought it was a ‘nice, but not my absolute favorite.’ I gave it many chances, and now that spring has arrived and it’s not so cold… it’s a whole different story! 😍 It’s floral and fruity, refreshingly light. You can definitely taste the quince with the jasmine, and it’s super pretty. I can’t quite pinpoint the exact scent, but I imagine the musk and amber give it a very soft, sweet touch. There’s also a subtle talcum-like note. It’s become an essential for this season and summer; perfect for everyday wear and those crisp days for a walk. 🤗

  • My brother gave it to me for my wedding, and I’ve worn it since then during emotional and nostalgic moments because my husband passed away. It’s tied to happiness and luck. Whenever I want to feel secure or wish for things to go well, I wear it. It’s very floral, has strong sillage, lasts several hours on me and much longer on clothes. I feel that the more I move or sweat a little, the more it intensifies. If it’s for women in their mid-years, I’m 34. It doesn’t feel very appropriate for younger girls. When I wore it, I felt like a ‘Lomas lady’ (very elegant and distinguished).

  • I simply love it. It’s an exquisite, fresh, and feminine fragrance. On my skin, it lasts about 6 hours, and on clothes, much longer.

  • It’s pretty; I loved it the first time I tested it, but when I went to buy it and tested it again, it felt super short-lived and way too expensive for its performance, even though it’s Chanel.

  • Tatianastoattoa

Sometimes fragrances don’t need to be complex to be truly enchanting. Chance Eau Tendre is a perfect example. It’s beautiful, clean, feminine, elegant, fresh, and it brings me peace when I wear it. It’s the second one I own, and I won’t hesitate to repurchase.

  • Ara Betancourt

I love it; it’s very fresh and clean, smells great, and lasts for hours. I definitely recommend it.

  • I love it when a perfume smells like a lady. What do ladies smell like? Clean? Fresh? Elegant? Feminine? That’s exactly what I feel in this perfume; it evokes all of that. Delicious. Note: I do like a few gourmet and sweet scents, but constantly smelling like a bakery isn’t really my thing.

  • It’s still one of my favorites alongside Miracle by Lancôme… A feminine and sophisticated aroma. I love it.

  • I think it’s a nice fragrance; it smells like expensive body wash, but it didn’t blow my mind. It’s pretty, but I feel it’s too pricey for what it is, plus it has almost no sillage and doesn’t last on my skin at all. I’d rather just buy the Zara dupe.

  • It’s an elegant, feminine, and very clean scent. It’s not cloying, but after months of wearing it, I got bored with it (or perhaps I associated it with my old job and it doesn’t bother me as much anymore).

  • Slightly sweet floral with a citrus top and dry-down. The scent is beautiful and perfect for daily heat, but that citrus note started to bother me until I couldn’t tolerate it anymore. I advise trying it before buying.

  • Lorenapicazo

Super acidic opening from the grapefruit that mixes with the sweetness of the quince. It smells like Barbie; it’s fresh for spring or summer. I don’t consider it sweet; in fact, I find it too acidic and tiring. Over time, the jasmine stands out, but I don’t detect lavender. It’s nice, classic, and elegant for heat, but I wouldn’t spend the money; there are similar options for much less.

  • It smells like Barbie, and unsurprisingly, it’s the perfume my boyfriend praises the most.

  • Juliana97

It’s my favorite for hot days. A 10/10 fragrance: clean, elegant, and feminine. What a pity it doesn’t last almost anything on my skin or leave a trail.

  • Laura Guerra

My ultimate favorite, it’s a love. I get so many compliments; it’s a white floral with citrus and very musky, smelling like shower gel. It’s tender yet sophisticated—you love it blindly—and it’s perfect as a gift. A real gem.

  • Sofigm594

It’s sparkling, energetic, and vibrant. At first, it doesn’t smell like what you expect; you have to let it settle. It’s not cloying; you can detect the quince, and it’s super youthful and feminine. I recommend it for daytime in spring.

  • Such a lovely, fresh, and fruity scent; it smells like my Barbies from childhood. It’s youthful, coquettish, and pink with its tenderness, ideal for spring and summer. I prefer it over the EDP; it’s super feminine for daytime. On my dry skin, it lasts about 6-8 hours, and on clothes, more than a day.

  • jojojojojose

Fresh, sweet, and beautiful—I love it. What a shame that, despite being so expensive, it doesn’t last more than two hours on my skin.

  • Daniela constanza

I’ve had this for two years and it’s crazy: now it lasts all day, whereas before it barely lasted two hours. The scent waves are spectacular, but I feel suffocated by that musky note that dries out my throat. What a pity; it’s very feminine, but that powdery finish kills me.

  • A very nice, soft, and elegant aroma for daily use; I find it quite similar to Omnia Pink, though they’re not the same, they share some resemblance.

  • I bought this EDT blind yesterday (online) and it was supposed to arrive next week. A couple of hours ago, my boyfriend and I happened to pass by a perfumery. I went in and tested this one. Horrible. I didn’t like the opening, but especially the dry-down, which I dislike, and the scent lingers quite a bit. It doesn’t smell floral to me. It smelled one way on blotter paper, but on my skin, it left a strong, somewhat bitter and green odor, almost mossy. I don’t know what it is, but I can still smell it and I’m about to wash my wrist—I can’t take it anymore. It feels strong; a little more and I’d feel nauseous or dizzy. My boyfriend says it smells like air freshener, not like something a person should wear. I canceled the order as soon as I got home. Moral of the story: don’t buy perfumes blind, no matter how good the reviews are.

  • Now that I’ve used this fragrance, I realize I didn’t appreciate it enough. It’s not one of my favorites right now, but there were moments when it was the only one that worked for me. Too expensive for such a simple and easily imitated scent; there are many good dupes on the market, and it’s easy to like. I smell it as very citrusy and herbal/fruity rather than floral; I notice the grapefruit and quince constantly until it fades. It doesn’t have great longevity, but the scent is fresh and pretty. A good blind buy gift.

  • Light Elegance: The opening is lively and sparkling thanks to the citrus notes, which quickly give way to a delicate floral bouquet, like a freshly cut bouquet. It’s youthful, carefree, and elegant, with that light touch that hooks you at first. As it dries down, it changes quite a bit: iris emerges, making it powdery with a more distinguished air. If you love powdery scents, you’ll enjoy this; if not, it might shock you. It doesn’t have great sillage or projection, and longevity depends heavily on skin chemistry, but it’s usually moderate. Perfect for spring and summer, for everyday wear, office, or university, and even as a gift (it’s one of Chanel’s most-gifted fragrances due to its fresh, youthful profile). Works great in casual, bright settings, but not so much for elegant nights or cold weather. My rating: 8/10. A beautiful, fresh, and delicate fragrance, ideal for those seeking light elegance and easy wearability.

  • Smells clean, like expensive shower gel—very pleasant to almost everyone’s nose, cheerful. A bit pricey, but very cute.

  • Chance Eau Tendre is a beautiful fragrance—a cool fruity style from Chanel. I detect lots of quince and the house’s signature musk, giving it a slightly talcum-clean finish; it’s casual yet formal, feminine and elegant, perfect for a great first impression and an almost flawless gift for any woman. Performance is good, projection is moderate but noticeable, and longevity in my case is seven hours or more; on clothes, it lasts two days without issue. Overall, it’s less sober and more youthful than the original Chance, but equally luxurious, silent, and impactful.

  • vanumirasson

Delicious scent; the note combination is among my favorites. I barely notice the top notes; flowers kick in immediately. I loved it. I tested it and bought it. But I’m quite disappointed by its longevity. It doesn’t last at all on my skin or clothes. I’m not sure if it’s me or the fragrance, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

  • merdillom

One of my favorites for spring or cool days. Lasts all day, especially on clothes. So delicious! 🩷

  • vikstrasza

My mom has the deodorant version and it smells different; I have a review comparing them. On her, it smells great with tender, fruity notes; on me, it smells terrible, like pine and floor cleaner with persistent, nauseating florals. I’m so disappointed. I tested it in the afternoon by the Mediterranean coast and it was a disaster. It vanished in two hours, and what little it lasted was a shrill air freshener trail that put me in a bad mood. It’s not youthful, even if it’s fresh; if you like that pine-and-amber buzz, this is your worst nightmare. Out of all the Chances, only Eau Vive satisfies me—I bathe in it, just like Marilyn Monroe said. ✨
