A sensual and extremely elegant fragrance that never goes unnoticed. On the skin, the realistic leather note really shines, like smelling a fine red leather wallet. As it evolves, it sweetens with vanilla and that flower (vanilla caviar) which lingers until the very end. The only thing I regret is that the leather note doesn’t always stay, because if it did, it would be perfect. I love it because it invites you to show off elegance and sophistication during life’s special moments, making you stand out.
Rich and sensual, perfect for a special night out; I absolutely loved that vanilla note that I’m such a fan of.
Formal and elegant, with a feminine touch where vanilla takes center stage.
After three tests in different scenarios, I decided to buy it. It’s wonderful, nothing like the previous CHs. It has excellent longevity on skin and clothes: I put it on at 10 AM and at midnight there was still sillage left, incredible. I think there’s confusion about the notes; the designer mentions pink pepper, amber vanilla, hibiscus, leather, osmanthus, and fruity essences. Another perfumery said it has “vanilla caviar,” which is more coherent with my perception. That’s why classifying it as salty is wrong; osmanthus and vanilla predominate. I found it delicious, although I don’t see it for night; it’s perfect for day.
I like it more every day. For winter, I feel it gets lost because on my skin it’s very soft. It’s cozy; I wear it when I relax, and it’s very pleasant.
I love it. Yes, at first the leather is very noticeable, but then it disappears and I simply love it.
I’m not an expert in women’s perfumes, but I like this as soon as I smell it, like Coco Chanel. I loved it and it’s the Three Kings gift for my sister; I hope she likes it. I liked it quite a bit; I repeat that I’m not a specialist, but it convinced me.
A friend gifted me the mini from a set her mom brought back from a trip. I tried it for the second time after getting to know it 8 months ago (July 2019); the first time I didn’t like it, it reminded me of Lady Million, which I hate. But I’m giving it another chance. At first glance, it’s juicy and fresh. Minutes later, I feel the CH Sublime leather: new, soft, flexible, smooth, and creamy. Then a hard-to-define accord appears, surely the caviar (salty taste, bitter like a fried egg yolk, sweet finish), which reminds me of Womanity. Then that accord fades, and patchouli reinforces the leather, making it serious and tough. Before patchouli takes over, I think of Kelly Caleche EDP, though Privilège is more accorded, less green and floral. It’s a bit warmer due to the patchouli. By the hour, I smell more vanilla over the patchouli, taking away the darkness. By 2 hours, there’s almost no patchouli left; vanilla takes the base: fruity, sweet, earthy with a citrus touch, clearly related to the classic CH. It’s interesting and solid, a warm vanilla-leather that I’d love to own. By 5-6 hours, the vanilla reminds me of the one in Magnolia Sensuel Dried.
CH Privée is a very elegant and sensual perfume that makes me feel empowered; it smells like a wealthy woman. Its leather note awakens a sensual instinct, and combined with the vanilla, it’s very warm; it’s a magnetic scent that doesn’t go unnoticed, perfect for conquering. I only had the miniature that came with other CH perfumes, and at first, I didn’t like it, but giving it a chance in winter, I absolutely loved it, so I already bought the 30 ml because it’s a bomb with great longevity; a little goes a long way and lasts all day. It lasts between 10 and 12 hours on my skin. For me, it’s an absolute must-have in the collection.
When I bought it, I thought I’d regret it, but after trying it a few days later, I loved it. It’s a sexy leather bomb with caviar and vanilla, different from other Carolina perfumes. I know it’s not for everyone, but I now adore it.
This perfume requires several tries before you fall in love with it. The leather and patchouli are noticeable quickly; the second seems strong but is charming. Then the osmanthus appears with an apricot effect and soft vanilla that wraps it all. It’s unique, different from the usual, but beautiful and feminine. Longevity: about 6 hours, moderate sillage.
Unfortunately, I didn’t like it, but it’s not bad. In fact, it has very good quality. My grandmother gifted it to me two years ago, and as you know, scents like this usually don’t sit well with a teenager. I used it a lot because I didn’t have other perfumes. As for the scent, I smell too much of the leather and patchouli notes; when it dries, the vanilla feels a bit light but not overly sweet on my skin. It smells like an office lady. Definitely not a blind buy. It lasts forever and projects way more. On my skin, it lasts over 10 hours and is very strong. It’s not my type; I feel it would suit an older lady or a woman over 25. I haven’t given it away because I have half of it left and because I heard it’s discontinued, so it’s good to have. Maybe I’ll use it for a special event.
Ch Privilège is elegant, sensual, and makes me feel empowered; it smells like a classy woman. The leather awakens the sensual instinct and the vanilla makes it warm; it’s magnetic and perfect for conquering. I started with the mini, which I didn’t like at first, but in winter I loved it and already bought the 30 ml bottle. It’s a bomb with great longevity, lasting all day with little application. On my skin, it lasts 10-12 hours; it’s a must-have.
I hesitated to buy it blind because in Argentina it’s on sale frequently and the notes caught my attention. Salty perfumes don’t always work for me, but here everything is beautifully developed. It radiates elegance, ideal for a gala or for an empowered, confident professional woman. The leather note is executed brilliantly and gives it so much character. If you can, try it on your skin because it changes compared to how it smells on clothes (for me, it smells better on skin). It’s sparkling, slightly spicy, radiates confidence… Great performance, sillage, and pure elegance.
A sensual and super-elegant fragrance; you don’t go unnoticed. At first, it smells like realistic leather, like a fine red wallet, and as it evolves, it sweetens with the vanilla and caviar until the end. I only wish the leather stayed longer because if it did, it would be perfect. I love wearing it to show off elegance and sophistication on special occasions; it makes you stand out.
I absolutely love this EDP. On my skin, the osmanthus and vanilla caviar dominate the leather, with a very soft vanilla touch. It’s elegant without being over-the-top, perfect for wearing to work. Very versatile, with moderate longevity and sillage, but it projects well. I wear it in autumn, winter, and spring.

A friend gifted me a miniature her mom brought back from a trip. I’m trying it for the second time after first meeting it about 8 months ago (back in July 2019)… The first time I didn’t like it; it reminded me of Lady Million, which I hate. But I’m giving it another shot. On the first sniff, I like it—it’s juicy and fresh. Within minutes, that leather note from CH Sublime appears: new, soft, flexible, smooth, and creamy. As I keep smelling it, an accord tickles the nose without fully defining itself; that must be the caviar, with a hard-to-explain flavor (salty like seawater, bitterness like a fried egg yolk, a strange sweet finish—all in one whiff). At that moment, it reminds me of Womanity. Then that accord fades, and the patchouli reinforces the leather, making it more serious and tough. Before the patchouli takes over, there’s something that reminds me of Kelly Caleche EDP, though Privée is more armored, less green, and less floral (Kelly has fresh, oily rose). It feels a bit warmer than Kelly, thanks to the patchouli. An hour later, I notice more vanilla over the patchouli, with a warm effect that softens the darkness of the patchouli. By two hours, the patchouli is almost gone, and vanilla dominates the base. It’s a fruity vanilla, with moderate but rich sweetness, an earthy effect, and a citrus top note; clear kinship with the classic CH. It’s an interesting, solid perfume. A vanillic leather, warm and full-bodied, that I’d love to own. Now that several hours have passed (say, 5–6), its vanilla reminds me of the one in Sensuel Magnolia Dried, a beauty.
Very warm fragrance with a fruity opening that smokes out until leaving a fine leather bag scent. It’s for an elegant woman, super versatile for any occasion and climate, for all ages, and has a youthful spark. My eighty-year-old mom has it and it suits her wonderfully. Definitely Carolina Herrera knows how to make the classics with youthful scents.
I tried it today and bought it blind thanks to all the recommendations and good reviews. I get testers at a good price and didn’t want to miss the opportunity… I’m delighted. It conveys warmth and elegance at the same time. I can’t distinguish the notes well, but I do feel that exquisite leather opening and then the vanilla. It felt exquisite and passionate to me.
Beautiful aroma. Although they say it doesn’t have lavender, I can clearly smell it in the blend. What a fabulous perfume!
I always need to have some CH in my collection, and after finishing the 212 Vip, seeing the notes of Privé, I didn’t hesitate a second to grab a bottle of this gem. It smells different from everything I own, and that’s a plus. I love the leather note and it’s executed very well here. In the end, it leaves a warm, talc-like sensation, super pleasant and elegant. I recommend it a lot, but watch out: don’t buy it blind because it has a lot of personality. I use it for semi-formal work dates, dinners at nice spots, send-offs, or baby showers, and in cool climates it performs perfectly.
I love it ♥️ I don’t feel it resembles the CH. It’s very similar to the Fendi Fan (I only tried the classic, don’t know the others). I really liked the Fendi one, super elegant, and as I said in its review, it smells like opening a makeup bag, in a good way: that nice makeup scent that pleasantly invades everything. Definitely good quality, but speaking of CH Privé, it’s very pleasant. Maybe for +30 (I know age doesn’t matter, but perfumes for me usually lead me to certain ages).
They gifted it to me and it smells beastly, very potent. I imagine it would look luxurious on a chic lady, haha. I’m 22, but I’ve worn it to parties or special events and I love it. The opening is strong, but over time you notice that vanilla, wood, and spicy touch, like pepper, with a smoky base. What I like most is the sweetness; that’s what saves it. It’s a super elegant and sensual scent.
Does anyone know a dupe from an Arabic house? I want to gift it to my mom.
Pity it’s no longer sold, but it remains one of the most mysterious in my collection. Upon spraying, it explodes with pink pepper and exotic osmanthus; then the leather in the heart adds a sensual, deep touch. The bottle is so elegant it looks like a designer handbag. Ideal for romantic dinners or when you want to feel empowered and sophisticated. Perfect for cold nights where its warmth shines the brightest. Smells like a wealthy woman and the longevity is beastly.
Well, it didn’t hook me, though it’s not a failure. The quality is there; my grandma gifted it to me two years ago, and as obvious as it is, this style doesn’t suit a teenager. I wore it because I had nothing else. The leather and patchouli hit hard; once it dries, the vanilla stays light and not cloying on my skin. It smells like an office lady. Definitely not a blind buy. It lasts forever and projects too much: over 10 hours on my skin and very strong. Not my type, I think it’s for women over 25. I didn’t give it away because I still have half of it and I heard it was discontinued, well, I’ll keep it. Maybe I’ll use it someday for an event.
