Have you worn CH Eau De Parfum Sublime?

Tell us how it opens, how it settles on your skin, how long it lasts and when you wear it.

  1. It’s sublime, just like its name. I don’t understand why they discontinued it; it’s a refined, accomplished fragrance. I haven’t worn it because I’m out of refills. It’s a precious, wearable, and sparkling scent.

  2. darlenerock

I just finished my second and last 100ml bottle. I’m going to miss this perfume so much. So far, I haven’t found anything even close to it. It’s sublime, floral, and sparkling with an earthy base. Truly unique.

Very sophisticated, just like all of Carolina Herrera’s creations. Nothing in my collection compares to it. That mossy note makes it stand out. The bottle is spectacular, and the longevity is over 12 hours. I wear it when I’m over 30.

I bought this blind based on its patchouli, leather, and earthy notes… what a surprise! On my skin, it reads very floral, and I can’t really distinguish the individual notes. However, it’s exquisite! It lives up to its name: SUBLIME. It’s a floral fragrance unlike anything conventional. It radiates elegance, sophistication, and luxury. It seems way more expensive than it is. The performance and sillage are excellent, and it’s not linear. I prefer it on fresh, humid days, but it works in any season. Perfumes usually don’t last on my skin, but SUBLIME lasted 4 hours and then faded to skin scent until I showered. I highly recommend it; it’s my new beloved treasure.

REMEMBER: When I was younger, I tried this and loved it. It was very different from everything else I had smelled, probably due to the leather note. It’s a shame it’s hard to find now; I’d love to smell it again.

I don’t like the opening, but once it dries down, it’s beautiful, just like its name suggests: sublime. You can definitely smell the leather, moss, and flowers. It’s lovely and reminds me a bit of Euphoria; I think they share some notes.

I love it! The orchid, patchouli, and leather are very balanced on my skin—nothing invasive, and you don’t need to overapply. It lasts 7 hours with moderate sillage. It’s semi-formal and inspires me to wear it with a leather blazer and a white tee. I prefer it in the shoulder seasons because that’s when it performs best. Totally worth trying if you didn’t like the CH Classic or CH Privé; this might be the version you’ll love more.

I’m still thinking about how to convince Carolina Herrera to bring this beautiful fragrance back to the market. If anyone knows how, let me know, haha.

  9. CarCar

Now that I finally got a tester at a good price and am wearing it again in winter, the opening on my skin is much more soapy than earthy. The warm notes of patchouli and leather take longer to emerge and stay closer to the skin. I think I’ll save this for sunny days or straight for spring-summer.

  10. I tried it right when it launched and didn’t feel it was ‘for me.’ Now, 5-6 years later, I think it’s gorgeous. It has all the beauty of the classic—that dusty praline note that makes it unique and gives that unmistakable memory effect—but I find it more floral, with citrus sparkles, whereas the classic was sweeter and woodier. Once settled, it reminds me of the classic Jimmy Choo, though Sublime is less loud and seems a bit more formal. I adore the Jimmy Choo, and I’d love for this one to be part of my collection too.

At first, it reminded me of CK Euphoria because of the patchouli, but then it smells delicious, elegant—a soft, complete accessory. I want it with me always!

CH Sublime has what I love most in a perfume: orchid. I love that flower, and almost every perfume containing it is a favorite of mine. CH Sublime is floral and smells mostly of orchid, passion flower, and patchouli. At first, I notice a strong floral opening with a touch of sweetness. Then it loses intensity and settles into a soft floral fragrance. I wish the powerful opening lasted longer, because after an hour it becomes very soft and stays right on the skin at the four-hour mark. It’s a pity; I think it has short longevity on me, but it’s special and looks great for going to work looking sharp or for a semi-formal event. Among Carolina Herrera fragrances, I think it’s one of the few I like.

CH Sublime is a very soft perfume; it behaves like a gentle breeze, like a caress. It’s very elegant, with a simple composition and minimalist characteristics. I agree it’s similar to CH Red, just softer, more floral, and slightly sweeter. The orchid is perceived in all its glory and pairs well with the patchouli; in the background, you can detect the amber and leather, but much more muted in this version. Longevity is moderate, and the trail vibrates constantly right on the skin, making it a very intimate perfume.

I like Sublime more than the original CH, which I consider somewhat similar. However, Sublime is floral, barely sweet, and slightly acidic. At first, it’s a bit intense, and gradually the rose petal and candied sweet notes settle in, leaving a soft trail. It’s a perfume that denotes sensuality and mystery. The packaging is wrapped in synthetic leather like a lady’s clutch; very pretty. Best regards.

  15. I really like this perfume; it’s floral, but I always notice the contrast with the patchouli, which gives it character and personality. To me, it’s a perfume that can be worn in any season, both day and night.

  16. Floral fragrance, pleasant for daily use, but nothing extraordinary. The downside: it lasts just over an hour, at least on my skin. A pity; I wouldn’t buy it again.

  18. Without a doubt, it’s among my favorite and best perfumes. At first glance, I get a scent of citrus mixed with gummies, which has fascinated me. When you wear it for a while, it becomes noticeable (depending on your sense of smell and skin). This is the second time I’ve owned it, and I can’t part with it after years. I’m not attracted to floral perfumes either, but this one has captivated me entirely.

I’ll admit I wasn’t a fan of florals, but this is an absolute obsession. I bought it blind based on reviews and it totally won me over. Perfect for daytime; I’ve already picked up two more CH scents just to try them out, and I have zero regrets—these are top-tier fragrances.

  20. Hi, I’m new here but I’ve been reading the reviews. This is my first ‘love’, I picked it up two days ago and fell in love with it at the perfumerie. It gave me that pure joy that’s hard to explain. It felt sweet without being cloying, similar to La Vie Est Belle or Poison Girl (both last forever). I wish it lingered longer on me, but it doesn’t quite do that; if someone greets you with a kiss, they’ll smell it, but it doesn’t stay on my skin. It’s a shame, but every journey starts somewhere. Beyond that, it’s super delicious and elegant.

Sophisticated and sensual aroma, I use it for special occasions. To me, it has nothing to do with the original CH; this smells very spicy, whereas CH Sublime is more floral and feminine.

A refined and distinguished fragrance. A very subtle floral where the orchid really stands out, nothing sweet, vulgar, or intrusive. It works well for any season or moment, though I think it’s perfect for the shoulder seasons.

I love it, it smells super sophisticated and is very true to the brand. It lasts a good while and goes with everything. Since I adore sweet perfumes, this is one of my favorites, but without being cloying. It’s even more noticeable on clothes. I definitely want to buy another one of these someday.

I agree, it’s subtle, refined, and full of personality. To me, it feels very feminine and warm. It’s a top choice for autumn and winter, day or night. The rose, orchid, moss, and patchouli dominate, but it’s not cloying. The trail is noticeable, persistent, and lasts longer on fabric (like handkerchiefs) than on skin. I think it’s a great Carolina Herrera perfume, very different from the typical 212s. I recommend it for women aged 25 to 40. Ideal for going to work in enclosed spaces without being annoying, but still making your presence felt.

Although I’m not a fan of floral perfumes, this seems very captivating to me. It’s subtle, refined, and has character. It reminds me a lot of CH, but Sublime is softer and less sparkly. It’s an excellent choice for winter, day or night. Patchouli dominates without being overwhelming. Another hit from Carolina Herrera.

It’s exactly as the name suggests: sublime for any occasion. Something subtle for the night, but it works great there too.

  27. It smells similar to CH but less sweet. I gifted the original CH to my mom because she liked this perfume, but I didn’t want us to have the same one and… oops! She still wants the Sublime. CH and 212 perfumes in general seem serious, meant for special occasions; when I turned 15, they gifted me a 212 and I felt it was too mature for me. Now I’m 30 and using Sublime, and I think it’s perfect. Overall, Carolina Herrera perfumes have a unique touch that makes you easily noticeable.
