Out of all CH summer editions, none had caught my attention until today. I only remembered the CH Sport from 2012. After 12 years, I loved finding this Birds of Paradise again. The website says ‘journey to the tropics,’ but ‘captivating’ is a better word. The cashmere recalls the original CH, contrasted with a fresh violet opening and the sweetness of tonka bean, very sensual and elegant. Perfect balance that invites you to keep smelling. Dry down becomes sweeter without being party-ready, ideal for relaxed afternoons. Could be a regular line with another name, but since it’s limited, I’m rushing to buy more. A great hit by CH and hands down the best summer edition.
Perfect for summer, the longevity on my skin is more than decent. I already bought two bottles just in case they discontinue it, and I regret not buying even more.
Perfect for summer. Longevity is excellent on my skin. Already have two bottles so I won’t regret it when they discontinue it.
When I tested it, it seemed very synthetic. I don’t know what to say… Maybe for guys who don’t know much about perfumes, but not for anyone else.
Reminiscent of Paris Hilton for Men in its fresh and sweet profile, but not heavy—more tropical, ideal for the beach. A youthful, trendy, fresh, and sweet aroma. Nothing groundbreaking for the price; there are other good catalog options.
Moderately similar to Paradise Garden; only the fig and green notes match. Longevity is moderate, 5-6h on skin with weak projection. Although good for heat, school, or work, it’s a great alternative to Paradise Garden since it’s discontinued.
Very easy to like. I thought being a wood scent would smell mature and dry, but it was a surprise: floral, fresh, and slightly sweet. Not feminine, but softer than the website says. Longevity is good (7h); the trail is noticeable for the first 3 hours, then it’s subtle, but the scent never disappears. Pleasant surprise and the bottle is gorgeous.
A huge surprise. It has a bit of Santal 33, but while that one is intense on wood and leather, this is more aromatic with subtle, marked wood. To me, it’s very balanced and easy to like. I tested it in-store months ago and knew I had to own it. Since it’s limited edition, I’ll buy more to have backups. Moderate projection and trail, lasts long enough for work, about 6-8 hours (depends on skin hydration). Totally worth it.
In short, a highly recommended perfume. Offers something different, performs well, and is a great price.
To put it plainly, this is a highly recommended perfume. It brings something unique, performs well, and is priced fairly.
Smells amazing, perfect if you like chamomile. It’s super natural, sweet, and realistic. Dry down reminds me of Kenzo EDT Intense but softer; if you like that, you’ll love this. Projects well for 2-3 hours and lasts 6-8 before settling into the skin. Smells great and will definitely get compliments. Super versatile, makes you look good and feel comfortable all the time. I had no idea there was a chamomile scent, which is why I bought it. Totally recommended.
CH Birds of Paradise for Him is an aromatic, herbal, and woody fragrance. Its opening is fresh and herbal, with that ozony violet leaf vibe from the classic CH Men, plus some spices that also remind you of the CH Men Central Park flanker. As it dries down, you get the chamomile note accompanied by sandalwood and fir, adding depth and making it very pleasant. It’s great for daytime, any season, whether for work, school, or casual outings. Its longevity was about 8 hours with a noticeable sillage at first. I’ve liked the scent more than the bottle and the name, and I think that’s what matters most: it smells very nice and is quite versatile. So I’m not letting appearances fool me anymore.
CH Birds of Paradise for Him is aromatic, herbal, and woody. Fresh, herbal opening with an ozonic sensation of violet and spices reminiscent of Central Park. Then chamomile comes out with sandalwood and fir, adding depth and making it pleasant. Great for daytime, any season, work, school, or outings. Lasted 8 hours with a noticeable trail at the start. I liked it more than the bottle and the name, and that’s what matters: it smells nice and is versatile. I’m done letting the bottle’s appearance fool me.
You can smell violets from the very beginning all the way to the end; it’s intense and long-lasting (at least on my skin).
I just bought this on a promo, blind. I thought it would smell different, but what a surprise! The chamomile we usually get in tea infusions isn’t even close; it’s a bit greener. It feels very herbal and sweet, smelling like tamarind, and it’s strange that no one has mentioned this before; it gives it a certain resemblance to Moschino’s Toy Boy. I’m happy with my purchase because it’s truly quite pleasant.
Bought it blind; I thought it would go the way of CH Men, but it leans more toward Kenzo EDT Intense mixed with sandalwood and a hint of CH.
I was expecting something else based on the notes, but it’s very much in the style of Paradise Garden or Le Beau EDT by JPG. Very nice, green, juicy, and fruity. It’s perfect for spring/summer because it feels absolutely not heavy at all.
Bought it blind, it’s a very special perfume, very green. What I do feel is that it’s quite light for an EDP. I’m not sure if I’d buy it again, but I grabbed it at a good price.
I bought it blind and it’s very special, smells quite green. Yes, it feels a bit light for an EDP, I’m not sure if I’d buy it again, but I grabbed it at a great price.
The chamomile note is the most prominent, so if you’re not used to it, you’ll have a hard time getting used to it. It’s an herbal, sober scent, nothing sweet or suffocating. A green, frivolous aroma. It’s pleasant, but the longevity on skin seems scarce; after a few hours, the scent practically disappears. My advice: don’t buy blindly and test it first.
I bought it blind for 67k pesos (about $45), impossible to find a better deal. It starts tropical, but after an hour and a half, it leaves an incredible wood scent with a sweet touch.
I bought it blindly for 67,000 pesos (about $45), and it’s impossible to find a better option. At first, it’s tropical, but after an hour and a half, it transforms into a rich wood with a slight sweetness.
I bought it blindly on sale for around $60. Is it good or bad? Absolutely not. Is it memorable? Probably… but whether it’s good depends on your nose. To me, it smells botanical, yes, botanical. The chamomile is super strong—not the dry tea before brewing, but the wild, uncut kind. It’s rich, but doesn’t reach sweetness, landing right in the middle. It’s a nice aroma, won’t drive you crazy, clearly a perfume, but by current trends, it falls short. I see it for daytime, summer, and spring only; it doesn’t fit other seasons. The 100ml will last me 3-4 years, maybe 5. Should I recommend it? Better to try it first. Since I paid on sale, it doesn’t bother me, but at full price, I’d be disappointed. Edit: honestly, it requires getting used to. After wearing it a few more times, I can say it’s one of my favorite tropical/summer scents. It fits in three words: green, sparkling, sweet (not cloying). A distinct and worthy perfume. I think in about 5 years it’ll drop to around $2, and it also works at night (very stylish) with a little happy spark.
It’s pure chamomile, nothing marine. It sits in the Kenzo Intense line but with more personality; I give it 5/5 for being original and stylish, close to the Hugo Boss vibe. I wouldn’t buy it again, but it caught my eye more than scents like CH Passion, which smells very spicy. Here we have green chamomile with a creamy tonka bean touch. The drydown is herbal, perhaps from violet leaves, but not powdery or sharp. It’s fun, I’d use it daily, but for the price I’d look for something like Born In Roma Intense for about $40 more. After a few hours, it reminds me a bit of Kenzo Marine.
