At first, that sage note explodes strongly along with the vetiver and the marine touch. After 45 minutes, the vetiver fades but the sage continues to dominate, now with a hint of pepper on the nose and the juniper softly reinforcing everything.
What a delicious perfume! I see it as very nice for people between 25 and 40, I don’t know why, but it seems perfect for daily use, whether day or night. It’s a lovely perfume to gift.
What a delicious perfume! I see it as ideal for people aged 25 to 40, I don’t know why, but it sounds right. Perfect for daily use, both day and night, and a great gift.
I felt it was missing a sweet note to make it truly unique.
I just tried it and… Oh, surprise! It smelled like Womanity by Thierry Mugler, at least at first, with that characteristic wild grass scent. This fragrance can be unisex without any problem, and even suitable exclusively for women.
Very pleasant, woody with a fresh touch, but not quite sporty enough for the gym. Its best use is in summer or at the office, though I also see it as timeless. It’s very pleasant and not offensive; at times it reminds me of some phases of Terre d’Hermès. I liked it more than the original version because it’s less sweet. What I notice most is the vetiver, sandalwood, fresh notes, and a bit less pepper and juniper.
It’s a shame to badmouth a fragrance from my own country. At first, it smells like alcohol, then like a normal perfume—things you can find cheaper. I’d recommend it for sports if you’re a man, to stay fresh while sweating or by the pool. I like the lemon or lime (not grapefruit) note mixed with juniper, sage, aquatic notes, and a sweetness I think is sandalwood. The rest sounds very synthetic. Longevity is good, sillage is moderate, almost skin-close. For me, it’s a resounding NO, though I know many will love it; I think CH aimed for a safe ‘sport’ scent to sell more. Edit: You’d need to smell how it combines with sweaty male skin, because the mix of juniper, lime, and a salty touch creates an interesting marine aroma.
I bought this fragrance because I liked it; it’s fresh. But after using it several times, I noticed it gives off a certain feminine aroma. Maybe it’s unisex because my sister smelled it and told me to gift it to her. After analyzing it well, I decided to gift it, as it smells very feminine on me. Note: I’m not saying it’s bad, just that Carolina Herrera got the gender wrong, hehe.
It smells creamy, sweet, and seems to have a sea salt note. It’s very attractive. I wouldn’t call it unisex; rather, it’s a sweet masculine scent.
CH Sport is one of the most unpleasant perfumes I’ve tried. The opening is typical, neither good nor bad. But after 10 or 15 minutes, due to the marine notes or their mix with pepper and juniper, it turns acidic and harsh. This line sticks to the skin until it dries out. Out of curiosity, I wore it until the end of the day, but many times I wanted to wash my arm. Sillage and longevity: slightly below average.
I went to the perfumery excited to smell this because of the good reviews, but the opposite happened; it disappointed me. I smelled an impressive combination of sage, juniper, and moss that repelled me immediately. It reminded me of CK One; I felt a prickling sensation, probably from the pepper. Anyway, I didn’t like it.
My father has this one; I tried it once but it didn’t work for me. I can’t define the scent, but it feels strange to me.
It starts citrusy with grapefruit and sage, similar to deodorants that give a clean feeling. But the sage adds a metallic tone that many don’t like. After 4 hours, the citrus remains and marine notes are added. By 10 hours, there’s a soft sandalwood and some vetiver. At 15 hours, a residue sticks to the skin. The trail with the full sample was heavy only for the first hour, then moderate and well-perceptible for about 7 more hours, the rest staying close to the skin. It’s suitable for informal situations, summer or spring, during the day. It’s very different from the original CH Men, and as a ‘sport’ fragrance, I don’t find it impressive. I prefer ‘sports’ like Dior Homme Sport or Allure Homme Sport, which have more interesting proposals.
CH Men Sport. Almost. I wanted a Carolina Herrera in my collection and, to save money, ordered this without smelling it. I didn’t expect much but knew it should be good and long-lasting. When they handed me the box, I decided to smell it, and I didn’t like it. I tested it on my skin, still didn’t like it, and canceled the order. It didn’t feel sporty or like a good fragrance. Now I understand the ‘low’ price.
The CH line by Carolina Herrera seems made for men over 30, moving away from the sweet and aquatic trends that are popular, which I personally like. CH Sport isn’t a gym ‘sport’ scent, but rather for athletic elegance, like a tennis match or an outdoor party in semi-formal wear. It works great at the office. Given the price in Mexico, the value for money is excellent. It smells of citrus, vetiver, juniper, and sage over an aquatic base, with a blue-green character that gives it an adult vibe. It has projection and presence for up to 3 hours, and while it becomes more subtle after 8 hours, it leaves a clean sensation. It’s versatile, suitable for all four seasons. It sometimes reminds me of Quasar by Del Pozo, but without the ‘kryptonite’ factor, thanks to that classic-style vetiver. Is it generic? Maybe. Is it good? I believe so. Go judge for yourselves.
The scent is very common and sounds cheap. If I didn’t know it was CH Sport, I’d walk right past it. I can’t distinguish the notes, it’s overpriced for the lack of originality. Better to invest in fragrances with better performance. But tastes vary, so it could be a gem for someone else.
The CH series from Carolina Herrera seems made for men over 30. It lacks those trendy sweet and aquatic notes, which I actually appreciate. CH Sport isn’t ‘sport’ in the strict sense. It moves more like TH’s Freedom Sport—great for low-activity sports or sporty occasions like a tennis match or outdoor semi-formal party. It’s not for the gym, but it works well in the office. It’s a worthy masculine scent if you consider the price in Mexico versus the performance, which is excellent. As for the aroma, tastes differ: a saturated opening of citrus, vetiver, juniper, and sage over an aquatic base. Deep, with a blue character and green edges, giving off an adult vibe. Great character and roundness, with presence and projection for at least 3 hours, finishing the 8-hour mark with a subtle but clean dry-down. I’d say it’s a 4-season scent with good versatility. It reminds me of Del Pozo’s Quasar, but without the excessive kryptonite and with a vetiver style similar to CH’s discontinued Sensual Vetiver. Generic? Maybe. Good? I think so. Go judge for yourselves.
Too bad it smells so much like CK One. Regards.
Aquatic and citrusy opening dominated by grapefruit, which later becomes basically what the whole scent smells like. It’s creamy, inoffensive, and has low projection. Pleasantly clean for summer. It doesn’t stand out for anything specific, maybe just for being another one of the summer citrus crowd.
Very citrusy opening, you can feel the pepper quite a bit. I find a very similar vibe to Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue. I’m not sure if it’s the pepper, oakmoss, or Virginia juniper giving it that touch. I’m talking about small similarities, but considering the price I paid (around 22 dollars) versus the 100 dollars for Light Blue, it’s a good option for Light Blue lovers on a budget. Personally, neither is to my liking, and I bought this to add to my collection. It lasts about 7 hours on skin, maybe 9 very close up. The first 4 hours project to an arm. PD: Another thing that reminds me of both is that they both give me a headache, so be careful with over-application. Scent: 7, Projection: 7, Longevity: 8, Price: 10.
I wore this fragrance for a good season. Not for blind buying; be careful. It keeps that CH-style DNA with pepper, combined with citrus and marine notes, giving it a rough but effective vibe in warm (not extreme) temperatures and body odor. Once dried down, it acquires a creamier tone. IT IS NOT SWEET, not at all. It lasts well through a workday and used to please my colleagues, though it’s not a wow. Although quite synthetic, it doesn’t smell like anything I know. My recommendation is to buy it in the pack with the cream, as it’s softer and complements the fragrance well; together they make a better perfume. I don’t think it’s worth paying more than 30 euros/dollars for 100ml (the pack cost around 35). Better to try it first; if you like it, you’ll be one of the few who wear it. Au revoir!
I used it quite a bit, and watch out: don’t buy it blindly. It has that brand DNA with the pepper, but mixed with citrus and marine notes, giving it a rough yet effective edge in moderate heat with a skin-like scent. As it dries down, it becomes creamier. It’s NOT sweet. It holds up well at work, and my colleagues liked it, though it’s not a ‘wow’. Although it smells synthetic, it doesn’t smell like anything specific. My advice: buy the pack with the cream; it’s softer and they work better together. It’s not worth more than $30 for 100ml (the pack cost $35). Try it first; if you get hooked, you’ll be one of the few wearing it. Au revoir!
A fairly fresh perfume for spring-summer and for enduring the heat. Citrus, green, and marine notes are the backbone of CH Men Sport, with the latter not being too overpowering. More than sporty, though spices are present, I see it as a daytime scent. It starts fresh with bergamot, grapefruit, and sage with a touch of strong but not overwhelming pepper, creating an interesting contrast. The marine notes add lightness without overshadowing the spicy tone. Over time, it becomes softer but retains that fresh and spicy vibe. Maybe it’s not an artistic revelation, but it’s a versatile fresh scent with its own style if you’re looking for something uncomplicated.
I’ve been using it for about 4 years; it was one of my first perfumes. I don’t have much to say; it’s a very fresh and subtle aroma with aquatic notes. It’s hard to get at times, but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Scent: 9/10, Longevity: 4/10, Price: 7/10.
It’s one of the freshest perfumes in my collection. Recommended for summer and spring, both day and night.
It’s one of the freshest perfumes I own. I recommend it for summer and spring, both day and night.
I had this a few years ago and tried to finish it quickly; I don’t know, I just couldn’t stand the smell much. Luckily it ran out, and I hope I never get it again. I wouldn’t buy it and hope I never receive it as a gift. To each their own.
Elegant citrus! One of the best from the house.
Personally, I love this fragrance, although it lacks longevity. Its citrus, woody, and earthy scent makes a good combination. I wear it to school, it lasts about 6 hours, and has decent projection. If they released an EDP version with better performance, that would be great.
I read several negative reviews about this Sport, but I see it differently. It screams grapefruit, bergamot, and sea. It’s not for a day trip; when it says ‘Sport,’ it means going near the beach, on a frigate, or having brunch at a club by the water. The pepper is strong and creates a crazy heart, but it needs a touch-up after five hours because it tends to fade into something soft.
Smells like sour sweat; I thought it had gone bad, but confirmed it’s just its scent. It has woods and citrus, but in a way I’ve never enjoyed; it smells like dirty, unpleasant sweat to me. It’s not expensive, but the smell makes it feel incredibly pricey.
Bought it blindly thinking it was a lighter version of Agua Brava. It’s fine for the pool, beach, or tropical zones like Cancun or Vallarta, especially for that sticky sweat. Warning: if you smoke or are near smoke, it smells like weed.
Fresh, citrusy, and invigorating for daily use. You can smell citrus, herbs, and the sea combined. It gives a pier vibe with a sea breeze. There’s no sportiness here, just freshness. Ideal for sunny days, meetings, and parties with friends. You’ll get a few compliments, if you’re lucky. Good fragrance, test before buying.
I don’t understand why they discontinue amazing fragrances like this. I got a 100ml bottle: delicious citrus top, resinous heart, and woody base. It’s worth it; I’m buying more to stock up. Highly recommended, wish they’d bring it back.
Rich fragrance but poor longevity.
A blend of Stronger With You and 212 Sexy. Sweet and masculine.
Excellent for daily wear and gets compliments. Everyone loves it: fresh, aromatic, marine with delicious pepper. Citrus opening with spices, then it turns woody and earthy without losing freshness. It lasts half a day, projecting a bit more. I give it 8/10 for scent, but 7/10 for longevity (about 4 hours on skin, a bit longer on clothes).
Spoiler: Meh. CH Men Sport smells like elevator small talk. It starts with a promising citrus ‘hello,’ but settles into flat vetiver and sandalwood, like a comment about the heat. Compared to other sports fragrances, this one comes with a folded polo shirt—just enough conversation to be polite without being intrusive. It’s not bad, but it leaves no impression. It’s that guy who never causes trouble. Perfect for dinner with in-laws or after work, but don’t expect people to ask what you’re wearing. Correct, discreet, and pleasant, but if you’re looking for emotion or personality, you won’t find it here. For the price, it’s a good closet filler.
Clean, blue marine, and masculine. It opens sparkling with citrus, then reveals the sea, juniper, and a salty-peppery note that settles into a light, rich wood.
The sandalwood and sharp citrus remind me a lot of Kenzo Homme Marine.
