I loved it so much in 2012 that I couldn’t buy it, and today, while looking for something citrusy and soft, unisex or summer-style, the seller told me she had the last bottle of Burberry Brit Summer and would gift me the tester with my purchase since it was discontinued. I was over the moon, went to smell it, and yes, I absolutely love it. I’m so happy to have almost 150 ml instead of 50. It smells of lemon and lime at first, then pear and almonds. It reminds me of pleasant spring days, not those crazy heatwaves here. A fantastic fragrance, original, with the perfect balance between softness and the sweetness of fresh fruit. It evokes Brit and Love Generation Fashion Victims by Arthes.
No, no, no. Fresh scents like this definitely don’t work with my chemistry; I smell it as rancid and old citrus. Plus, it doesn’t last on my skin at all.
Finally snagged a tester for almost nothing, and what a find! Even though they warned it wouldn’t hold up in extreme heat, it works perfectly here where it’s stifling and humid 80% of the year. It leaves a medium trail that’s fresh and sweet at the same time, perfectly balanced thanks to the almond note. I love it because it gives an elegant vibe without being classic, adding just the right freshness for the weather. Ideal for standing out in daily life without being overwhelming. It’s not sensual, but it feels quite feminine.
