This perfume gives me glamour and serenity; it’s a beautiful oriental, currently my favorite from Aerin Lauder. Amber Musk builds from less to more, doing its magic as it settles on the skin and envelops you. It’s not intrusive; you notice its trail, but it’s so creamy and captivating that you just want to enjoy it. It opens with ambroxan blending into the musk, followed by a fresh rose like one just picked, then the coconut (for me, that’s what makes it creamy, like coconut milk) and sandalwood. I’m still trying to detect the benzoin and blackberry; I’m not sure how they blend. It’s a glamorous, serene oriental with that ‘less is more’ elegance. I see it for nightwear, formal occasions, and cold days. Rating: 10/10.
It’s wonderful, I loved it…
It has the perfect balance of the Aerin line: musk, woods, and amber well blended. Nothing sweetens or spics it up; it’s super natural. Besides that, I don’t notice much else; I barely smell the coconut. It’s subtle, delicate, and comforting. Ideal for any occasion, perfect for enjoying on your own. Sillage and longevity are moderate, though it’s marketed as feminine, I feel it’s unisex.
