15 minutes of projection… disappointing
Indeed, it’s not a bomb due to its fresh notes; it’s a green coconut, nothing creamy or like sunscreen, it’s fresh and woody. You can really smell the bergamot mixed with fresh coconut, more like coconut water. Totally unisex… intermediate. For me, the longevity is very good, especially on clothes; I’ve worn it for 6 hours and I can still smell it… very rich. It’s almost 80% similar to Guerlain’s Al Ahsa (note: user likely meant ‘Allegoria’ or a similar discontinued line, but keeping context of comparison) Coco Water, but that one is more fruity with cucumber, more aquatic; in contrast, this one is more woody… but it’s a good dupe, since unfortunately Guerlain’s was discontinued. Also, I think this has better longevity than Guerlain’s… ☺️
Ah, regarding Guerlain, they share the coconut, but it’s not the same aroma. Guerlain is super calm and more green coconut. Personally, I think this one is better and more original; Guerlain feels a bit like plain bread without salt, and the smell made me feel full.
Ultra-fresh and sparkling coconut. A sharp citrus with the sweetness of coconut (nothing cloying). Like a coconut-based alcohol-free toner. The truth is, it’s very rich and different from everything else. Not for daily wear.
Fresh coconut and lasts quite a bit without projecting too much, but it gives you your 6 hours. For me, it’s unisex but leaning feminine. It feels very sensual on a woman’s skin for casual days or after a shower at home.
Wow, I’m surprised by this fragrance. Normally I don’t look much at Zara scents because they’re often dupes, though these aren’t bad; they’re acceptable for the price. I tested it randomly in the store, perhaps influenced by the bottle color, and within seconds the scent hooked me: it’s clean and brings to mind white sheets (clarifying that it doesn’t smell like detergent); those white ideas (flowers, coconut) in the opening remind me of clean, soft laundry. A few minutes later, I noticed the coconut better, between milky and aquatic, between milk and coconut water… I loved it and bought it immediately; I think it’s the first Zara perfume in my collection. Minutes later I recognized the inspiration: Soleil Blanc by Tom Ford, a masterpiece. The only downside is that the Tom Ford version is too sophisticated and feminine for unisex. The quality isn’t there, but the perfumer did a good job; it feels less sophisticated, less feminine, and more wearable for a normal day without needing to dress up. I was surprised by the performance: 6 sprays on clothes and skin maintain a small but present trail, and air currents enhance it. If you don’t want to spend what the Tom Ford Soleil Blanc costs and are looking for something for a normal day without special outfits, it’s a good option for summer in the city or at the beach. It’s not niche, but I didn’t expect this quality from Zara; quite acceptable for the price and performance. The only negative is the terrible atomizers; the one in the store was dripping, and I thought it was due to mishandling, but mine right out of the box was the same. If I were to summarize the scent: sweetened coconut water with neroli, slightly woody and citrusy at the start.
Super subtle aroma, smells like coconut water and freshly laundered clothes. Extremely clean, like a super-discounted Soleil Blanc.
Very subtle aroma, smells like coconut water and freshly laundered clothes. Extremely clean, like a heavily discounted Soleil Blanc.
Delicious, smells like freshly cut coconut, fresh, and with a citrus note; the sweetness isn’t cloying and as it dries down, it becomes much creamier. That said, it has very poor longevity, so I need many sprays and reapply every 4 hours. Given the price, it’s a great option, especially if you catch it on sale.
It’s a very potent green coconut scent, starting with a quick citrus burst before settling into coconut milk and green woods. The longevity and projection are just average; I’ve had to reapply several times. I can’t imagine anyone disliking it. Being partial (I love woody coconut and Olivia Giacobetti perfumes), I’d call it an ‘elegant coconut’ (not formal), unisex, perfect as a summer wardrobe staple for any non-super-formal day… ideal with a white linen shirt, sunglasses, and a carefree look. Pleasant: 9/10 Interesting: 4/10 Versatile: 7/10 Original: 5/10
Smells like very intense green coconut, with a citrus touch at the start that fades quickly, leaving behind coconut milk and fresh woods.
