  Ashlemah is my second favorite and lives up to its notes of lavender, violets, and heliotrope, though I detect an undeclared iris. When I wear it, those three flowers come alive with lavender leading in freshness and cleanliness; it reminds me of perfumes from the Charleston era. After about 10 minutes, the lavender catches up in intensity to the heliotrope and violet, creating a perfect balance where I notice a lipstick-like touch—maybe it’s the hidden iris or the fusion of the three flowers at their peak intensity. It’s a fresh, clean, floral fragrance that’s explosively feminine and has a commanding presence, with not a hint of subtlety or fragility. It’s devilishly chic, refined, and has a brilliant personality that fascinates me. Unlike other Ashlemah Gems, it lasts about 6 hours with moderate projection. Ashlemah, a breath of spring.
