It is powdery, yes, but not dusty. Smells of orris, violet, and musk with the sweetness of pulverized green almonds. Lasts 8 to 10 hours: strong for the first 4, then moderate. Stays on clothes until washed. It’s unisex, slightly more feminine, but generally for everyone. It doesn’t resemble Teint de Neige or Shalimar; they are distinct masterpieces.
I absolutely adore powdery scents, but my skin prefers other fragrances. This one is exquisite: it opens with citrus for about half an hour, then settles into a natural, fresh iris. I detect a spicy note—clearly fresh, freshly ground cumin that clings to the whole body; maybe it’s sandalwood or my chemistry is transforming it. Still, I enjoy the rest: pleasant, unobtrusive, and elegant. It lacks Guerlain’s vintage vibe; it feels more modern and easy to wear. It lasts 6 hours and stays on clothes until washed. No heavy sillage, very personal. Recommended for work or any occasion.
