  • Blue Oud by Lattafa: the least oriental of the oriental scents. It has hints of Sauvage and Invictus, but it’s different. Musky notes dominate, giving a clean, soapy, or talcum-like sensation. Easy to wear and please, very pleasant. Although it contains oud, it is extremely subtle and versatile for any season. Slightly sweet, it’s one of the less sweet Lattafa perfumes, leaning more towards that trendy freshness. Although unisex, I feel it’s more feminine. Performance is very good in both projection and longevity. I consider it well-constructed, but if you don’t like musk, better to skip it. Scent: 8.0, Projection: 3h, Longevity: 8h. Recommended.

Edited: Excellent perfume for men, modern, fresh, sexy, and elegant. My first review below: a failed blind buy that I’ll have to sell. I was expecting something feminine, fruity, and floral with a soft oud, but it turned out to be super masculine. I was expecting something like Ramz but more feminine, and yes, it’s that style but very macho. Three sprays filled the house; I smelled like a man walking by with an impressive sillage. I took a shower and the scent wouldn’t leave; it’s a guaranteed 24 hours of Oud Blue. It smells of lavender (a note I usually don’t like and which isn’t listed, maybe it’s sage), jasmine which adds nothing feminine, but together with the apple it gives freshness. The oud and saffron are soft; it’s clean but so musky that it feels heavy for a woman. Is it good? Yes, on men it smells wonderful, fresh and citrusy, with crunchy fruits, slightly floral with a woody base, clean and musky, very masculine. Longevity and sillage are extraordinary, surpassing the most potent Lattafa perfumes. For unisex, it’s ‘nasty de plasty’. If I had paid attention to the notes, I would have realized it’s compared to men’s perfumes. EDIT: I gifted it to my husband and it smells like a prince from One Thousand and One Nights, clean, fresh, powerful, and with personality, modern and sexy. It’s one of those that says, ‘Hey baby, I’m here.’ It evolves from a floral-fruity opening to a dominant saffron with warm woods, a non-animal oud that is very wearable and becomes the star, musky and slightly sweet with a gorgeous creamy sandalwood. The sillage is nuclear, nothing heavy but lasts over 5 hours and 24 hours total, survives a shower and is still great. I’m conquered. It’s so elegant and sexy that they tell me it’s worth 100€, and I believe them; there are no loud notes, it’s natural. Absolutely elegant! I’ve already ordered another because I bought it for 15€ at Brasty and I don’t want them to run out of stock.

Pretty good, it’s very similar to Akaster by Parfums de Marly. It’s eternal; even after a shower, it still leaves a trace on the skin. It lasts more than 12 hours on my skin (over 6 hours projecting) and several days on clothes. Eventually, it causes olfactory fatigue, but it smells strong on others, so be careful not to overdo it. It smells like a mix of oud, apple, roses, and ambergris (even though it doesn’t have rose, the combination with amber and saffron gives that rose water vibe). In short, a great perfume.

  • Blue Oud blew me away: the blend of oud, pepper, and apple is a total hit. The amber adds a sweet touch, but it’s so well-balanced that it doesn’t overwhelm. You can smell the musk and sandalwood from afar. It’s fresh, fruity, and very different from the commercial scents everyone else uses. The longevity and sillage are brutal—just be careful with the sprays as they can cause olfactory fatigue. Great job by Lattafa.

What a surprise, it smells super good and I loved it for the price. The performance is another story: about 7 or 8 hours on the skin with moderate projection, nothing spectacular, but I’d definitely buy it again.

  • At the beginning of the fragrance, it has an opulent oud start, but less aggressive. For a couple of hours, it reminds me of Mancera Aoud Lemon Mind. After a couple of hours, it turns sweet and a bit fresher; that’s when this perfume really shines, leaving a rich aura and trail. It doesn’t resemble Invictus Elixir at all; they are completely opposite. Longevity is more than enough, about 8 hours, of which 3 project quite well. For the price it has and the performance, it’s very worth it if you can handle the quite uncontrolled opening; you’ll find a truly surprising fragrance.

Blue fragrance, with similarities to many designer blue scents, Chanel, YSL. But a bit rough; musk and spicy spices dominate. A bit of a mix of smells, quite masculine. I like it but feel it’s a bit dirty, not balanced. I prefer the Sheik Shuyuk Final Edition blue fragrance also by Lattafa, which has a similar vibe but is kinder. That said, the bottle of this Blue Oud is a 10.

  • This has been my first oud fragrance, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. It creates a love-hate relationship that leans more towards love. The opening is strident and chaotic: notes of oud, sharp spicy pepper, musk, and very lightly citrus. It’s one of those perfumes that makes you sneeze at the opening, so be careful with the sprays. The heart is more relaxed, less strident, with more noticeable fruits and florals alongside the pronounced musk. The dry down is the best; the ambergris kicks in and leaves a very pleasant, sweet, and clean finish. Medium longevity: about 5 hours projecting quite well for about 4. From there, on the skin for more than 8 hours without issues. For me, it’s a yes. It’s true that among ouds, it’s one of the easiest, but you have to give it a chance. Edit: as time passes, I like it more. As you get used to the slightly feminine oud-musk opening, everything improves. Overall, it’s great, but the dry down is the best, an exquisite clean masculine scent. I’ll surely buy it again when I run out, the price is ridiculous and the aroma is fantastic.

  • This has been my first oud fragrance, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. This perfume creates a love-hate relationship that leans more towards love. The opening is brash and chaotic. I detect notes of oud, a sharp spicy kick from pepper, musk, and very lightly citrus. It’s one of those perfumes that makes you sneeze with its opening, and you have to be careful with the sprays; not too many. The heart is more relaxed, less brash. You can smell more fruits and florals along with the pronounced musk. The dry down is the best for me; the ambergris comes into action and leaves a very pleasant, sweet, and clean dry down. As for longevity, it’s average; about 5 hours, projecting quite well for about 4. After that, it stays close to the skin for more than 8 hours without issues. For me, it’s a yes. It’s true that within oud fragrances, it’s one of the easiest, but you still have to give it chances and get used to it. Edit: As time passes, I like this perfume more. Once you get used to the slightly feminine oud-musk opening, everything gets better. In general terms, it’s great, but the dry down is what smells best, an exquisite clean masculine scent. I’ll probably buy it again when I run out for my collection; the price is ridiculous and the aroma is fantastic.

I bought it in 2020, if I remember correctly, during the boom (at least for me) of Arab fragrances. Honestly, it didn’t really take my fancy, and I used it only a couple of times. In fact, I listed it for sale on Wallapop! and today I’m glad I didn’t sell it cheaply. Last summer, while reorganizing my bottle mess, I ran into it again as if it wanted to find me 😅. I sprayed it on my forearm with the intention of reaffirming my rejection of the fragrance, but the opposite happened. At first, it didn’t seem so unpleasant, but as minutes passed, my nose wouldn’t stop searching my forearm. I found a scent I had repudiated years ago. Not very suitable for summer (at least with the temperatures in my area), so I waited a few months and used it this winter like never before. It has a scent with lots of sweet/fruity musk, creamy woods, and a ‘perfectly ironed white shirt.’ I fully agree with the review preceding me; it opens something chemical and penetrating (like a laundry room) + oud, but around an hour later, it becomes a delicious aroma. I disagree about the longevity, which seems very good to me, at least 8 hours. Maybe over time I’ve become ‘immunized’ to the more hostile or less polished parts of these Arab houses that I hadn’t smelled much back then.

Simply perfection for being the first Arabic perfume I’ve bought at such an accessible price. Its fruity notes and oud combine beautifully; sometimes it gets a bit cloying due to how sweet and strong this beast is. I’ll just say it: a damn gem of perfumery. A familiar and old-school scent, but quite mature before drying down, and afterwards it’s pleasant, as if it were wrapping you in a warm yet fresh fruit blanket. 10/10.

  • Lattafa Blue Oud is a flanker of Lattafa Khalid Emarati but fresher… nothing to say, I smelled the same scent but just a bit fresher…. pff, pretty lame, I think I’ll swap perfumes with a friend.

Simply perfection for being the first Arab perfume I bought at such an accessible price; its fruity notes and oud combine in such a beautiful way that sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming due to how sweet and strong this fragrance bomb is! I can only say, a damn gem in perfumery, a very familiar and old-fashioned smell but quite mature before drying, and after drying, it’s a pleasant scent, like a warm yet fresh fruit blanket wrapping you in its attractive aroma. 10/10💕

  • Very pretty, kind, and easy to wear if you want to have oud without giving everything at once. It feels present without being loud. It has a tiny sweet but subtle touch that makes it compatible for casual or semi-formal wear, and it remains elegant enough for a suit if needed. Very versatile, but better for cool weather. It would work for a cool summer night. I see myself wearing it during the day in autumn and winter, and in the spring, only in the evening. I loved it because I adore oud, ambergris, saffron, and galol. It starts with a lovely and youthful apple and citrus touch that then fades to give you a serene and mature accord with fruity notes, without falling into loud tones like One Million or Invictus. A very kind and wearable Arab perfume. Nothing strange. Still, I don’t recommend buying it blindly. It doesn’t resemble anything I know from Western designer brands. It projects well and lasts quite a while. The whole workday. If you layer it with Le Labo Another 13, you get a really curious touch. You’ll smell super original, especially when people get close. Happy with this perfume. A hit.

  • It’s a very pleasant blue oud. It’s not aggressive, but it’s not perfectly rounded either. As an aroma, it’s one of my favorites in my collection, but I never know when to wear it. It doesn’t suit me; it feels too grand. What a pity because my nose loves it. Good performance.

If you trust perfumes with oud, run and grab this one! 🤩 Since I first tried it, I was blown away by that unique scent, completely different from anything I’d smelled before. It’s super pleasant, rich, and has great presence. To me, it starts with talc, flowers, spices, and wood, which gets lots of looks and compliments 😏. Then, the oud wood lingers before giving way to sweet citrus fruit notes, with a very clean musk that smells like body wash. In the end, it’s an incredible and elegant aroma thanks to the blend of sandalwood, galol, and a touch of ambergris that stays with you until you shower. It’s a blue scent with oud, super versatile for going out or formal events, with an uncommon smell that everyone loves. It works for any season, though I’m not sure about beach heat or extreme cold.
