Trash. It doesn’t last anything, but nothing. After an hour, you have to track it down with a bloodhound on skin. It’s an experience that repeats with other Chanel fragrances. Not recommended.

  • I’m here to defend this masterpiece. July 2022 batch: 9 to 10 hours on skin. 2 hours of good projection and another 3 or 4 of bursts. On clothes, it lasts days. To those commenting below, either you were sold fakes or you have crocodile skin. Don’t rule out damaged pituitary glands. Leaving that aside, I can’t say less than wonders. What an enchanting scent! An aromatic woody-tonka combo, fresh from the mint and creamy from the sandalwood. It’s like they took Le Male and transformed it into its more refined, high-class version. Versatile to no end and capable of making you look good whether at a wedding or buying bread at the grocery store. Conclusion: 10/10.

I agree with Julián’s review. My 2022 batch performs phenomenally. After 6 hours, it still releases bursts of that creamy base from the tonka bean and musk, which is enchanting. That base lasts until 10 hours or more. It doesn’t project like a beast after the first 2 hours, but in close proximity, it’s felt and it’s spectacular. I see it as a daytime fragrance, with elegance à la Chanel. For night, I’d use something else, but in warm weather, it works very well, preferably in formal situations. It’s super versatile and won’t leave you looking bad. I recommend trying it to see its performance on your skin.

  • One of the best fragrances I’ve tried, no doubt. Just wear it and feel great instantly. On my skin, it lasts 4 hours projecting well and 2 or 3 more with less intensity. It’s one of the few where I don’t care much about performance because I really enjoy its scent. It’s generated tons of compliments, mostly from girls. It’s delicious, with normal performance and unique versatility.

Amazing perfume. Starts citrusy and fresh, very similar to Versace Pour Homme, but then turns sexy and creamy. It’s incredible; I always get compliments from women. I recommend at least 8 sprays. It’s super versatile for any occasion. Just one detail: it doesn’t last long, max 4 hours of projection. But with a couple more sprays, you can revive this beast.

I loved it years ago: fresh and invigorating opening, very wearable and versatile. It was my number 1 for a long time. I feel the tonka bean more than in any other fragrance. But when I bought my second bottle, it became annoying. The mint was too invasive in the heat, and the musky part didn’t come through anymore. Performance dropped. A coworker told me it smelled like garden insecticide, probably due to the mint and mandarin. Since then, I reduced usage and saved half the bottle. I barely even see the letters on the bottle anymore and use it as a car freshener in the summer. For me, its time has passed, even though many consider it timeless. What I love today is the Blanche Edition, a meringue/vanilla scent with lemon and a touch of pink pepper, ideal even for heat. It’s hard to find, and I fear they’ve reformulated it too.

  • Disappointing. From the start, it smells like hand soap, and I still think that way. Even though it’s vanilla, if you get used to it, it’s not too bad, but for others, it screams ‘you smell like soap.’ I was fascinated by the tonka bean, but ignoring the longevity was a mistake. It lasts 2 hours on skin and then turns into soap. On clothes, it reaches 8 hours. The problem is that strong soap scent; it’s not sexy at all. It projects beastily for the first hour and then bye. The 2016 batch was better. Final rating: 6/10.

It’s good, but don’t go crazy over it. The EDT version definitely gets compliments and is lighter, sweeter, and more balanced. I like it, but I’ve never received compliments with this one. With the EDT, yes. The difference is noticeable. Scent: 7/10, Projection: 6/10, Longevity: 5/10.

  • I never understood this perfume but now that it’s reformulated I find it’s a true scam. Talc-like opening with no personality and a generic scent that projects nothing and evaporates before an hour… a true fraud from the Chanel house especially given its high cost. The Allure Sport EDT has better performance. The worst part is the lack of personality in a supposed fragrance backed by Chanel.

  • Batch 2023 reformulated and disappointing: no projection and barely lasts, maybe 4 hours. They went overboard with the tonka bean; better suited for car freshener than on skin 😡

  • Citrus opening with mint and after a few minutes the tonka bean appears timidly. Timidly at first because by half an hour that olfactory note completely takes over the composition. In the final phase barely any sandalwood and musk are perceived. For me this Eau Extreme is the worst in the Allure line: an unbalanced scent. The best part is the opening; afterwards it bores me a lot. If you want to know what the tonka bean smells like you’ll identify it clearly here because it’s too dominant. The quality is there typical of Chanel but the performance leaves a lot to be desired in recent batches. In other Chanel fragrances I’d forgive it because the scents drive me crazy but this isn’t the case. In my humble opinion the hype around this perfume is far from justified.

  • I bought it blindly due to the high hype thinking it was a safe purchase because it’s Chanel. It’s a fresh scent ideal for summer and very versatile. However it doesn’t last at all. On my skin it lasts no more than an hour and doesn’t project even at the moment of spraying. A total disappointment. The positive was that after this letdown I started getting into niche perfumes and I think they’re worth much more. A real shame as it could have been a great perfume.

  • Julius Caesar man you’re so heavy-handed with that ridiculous way of reviewing. Everything is semi-something semi-dirty semi-bright semi-dark semi-grandma-on-a-bicycle) and slightly mentholated talcum-powdery synthetic but not annoying. Anyway you’re overused and don’t add anything. That said the 2015 batch I have lasts its good 8 or 9 hours projecting well the first two notes over a meter and leaving a great trail. It’s a scent everyone likes; the citrus opening sweetens up with tonka bean and sandalwood becoming very noticeable turning slightly creamy with a vanilla touch. Very versatile but better in intermediate seasons. Maybe a bit too expensive.

  • To be fair it’s not the profile I like most. As of now it might seem a bit generic; 10 years ago it was more striking. It has a typical citrus-spiced soapy opening with marked creaminess that leaves a slightly sweet and pleasant musk as the protagonist. It’s extremely versatile daytime and easy to wear. It’s not something I’d use to seduce as the name ‘Allure’ suggests but rather something fresh daily and pleasant. In terms of price-quality it’s not the most convenient option given alternatives like Versace Pour Homme or Missoni Wave that are very similar and cheaper. Its performance is just no more than 4 or 5 hours but its first hours project more than enough. Mature rich and versatile but you won’t lose much by choosing other options.

I really wanted to like it because the accords caught my attention but I was slightly disappointed. The opening smells very similar to Bleu de Chanel EDP with mint and citrus notes which isn’t surprising. Then comes the dry-down and it turns out to be a vanilla scent without much character; you can smell it on the street and confuse it with any vanilla-woody scent like Eros or 212 Sexy. I’m not saying they’re very similar but if you smell it on someone else their trail can remind you of any vanilla fragrance.

  • Antonio Taleno

It smells delicious definitely a scent that everyone loves. I’ve tried both the regular version and the Eau Extreme and I feel the regular one is slightly better. Both are great for daily wear and surely attract compliments proven.

  • Rogg Roch

A fragrance I absolutely love that generates compliments. It has an exquisite fresh green mentholated opening followed by a creamy spiced tonka bean. The musk in the base gives consistency to the tonka bean throughout its entire life. I apply about 7 or 8 sprays because it doesn’t overpower or feel heavy. I recommend it for dates or outings in intermediate climates.

  • Krystian_o

It’s my favorite fragrance; it smells great and is very versatile. I wear it daily though it’s also perfect for dates or special events. Several times after 7 or 8 hours I can’t smell it on myself anymore but others can especially on the neck close to the skin. It seems to perform better than it appears.

  • chegadesaudade

It has Chanel quality which is the soul of the scent. At first with the mandarin it smells amazing and I really liked it. Then it becomes very wintery and a bit heavy for me; I wouldn’t wear it in the heat. The tonka bean and musk notes are more prominent than in the original which I find more versatile. It remains creamy and musky but that vanilla sensation seems unnecessary and makes it feel warm and winter-specific rather than all-rounder. That’s why it didn’t win me over and I let it go.

  • I was looking for its Allure Home Sport counterpart, but there wasn’t one available, so they let me try this one I’d never heard of. At least for me, it has a strong citrus and green opening; over time, it blends and leans towards vanilla mixed with something (I think tonka bean), a very familiar scent because the dry down reminded me of other perfumes, deodorants, or fragrances that seem to have been worn by many people while I was out on the street in the past. Good longevity and projection at least in my case, as I expected, although I was hoping to try the one that isn’t Xtreme; honestly, I don’t know how similar they are. Good fragrance, but personally, it didn’t grab my attention at all.

  • SebastianC2702

Total men’s perfume: lemon, fresh, creamy deodorant, and masculine. I consider the ‘quality’ aspect to be something for experts; for 99% of people, you won’t notice so many nuances in daily life. I have the Alpine Homme Sport by Maison Alhambra, and it smells quite similar; perhaps in the dry down, this one smells ‘expensive’ if you’re within 5 centimeters of the skin. The aura is very rich, like a serious, mature man in a white shirt. It doesn’t smell like an older person, but someone mature in their actions. I currently wear it as a signature scent and it makes me feel very comfortable. It’s quite expensive to be honest; in my case, it lasts well (2021 batch) for 5-6 hours with noticeable performance; ultimately, it’s a fresh perfume and can’t last as long as dense, sweet ones. I don’t recommend it based on price because you have to reapply to last all day. If you want it as a signature, buy this and the Maison Alhambra one. Use this in the morning and carry a decant of the Arabic dupe to reapply. Same DNA and you save money.

I recently bought it. Based on reviews, I took a risk on the longevity and projection, which many say are low. The first time, I was disappointed because the scent vanished completely after an hour; even pressing my nose to my arm, I couldn’t detect it. However, I don’t know what happened, but the second and third times I used it, the longevity was good, over eight hours. Maybe the projection is indeed low; you have to get very close to smell it. But even after 8 hours, I still smell the scent strongly around me. Worth noting, I only use 4-5 sprays, and where I live it’s around 90°F. Very rich fragrance and recommended for general use.

  • Kylow Ren

I don’t like it. I think it’s too heavy on the musk and tonka bean; I hate the dry down. The original version does convince me, being more neutral, neat, casual, and suitable for hot days.

  • Honestly, the first time I smelled it in a store, it smelled like nothing… My pH must be totally ruined.

  • Very good, great performance, good sillage and longevity. Classic, sweet, green, aromatic, informal, elegant, and musky. A distinctive Chanel fragrance with fresh notes at the start, followed by a sweet Tonka Bean that dominates the dry down along with that animalic, wet side. Stays fresh for about an hour, then becomes more musky and sweet due to the coumarin. Lasts 5-6 hours on skin and 24 on clothes. Very elegant.

  • The scent doesn’t win you over at first sniff; it takes several uses to grow on you. I bought a decant when I was just starting out, and my nose wasn’t familiar with such bold aromas, so it didn’t convince me at first. Over time and with repeated use, I grew to love it, and it became one of my favorites. Now I see it as an elegant, masculine, and refined scent for a well-dressed man. But since it’s not a love-at-first-sight fragrance, it’s not easy to like; friends and partners rate it between 5 and 6/10. If you’re looking for compliments, it’s not a good option. Projection and longevity aren’t the best either, so I categorize it as a self-indulgence: wear it because you like it, not expecting others to adore it. If you want to stand out on the street, there are better perfumes. Summary: Scent 9/10 (improves with time), Projection and Longevity 7/10, Price 6/10 (expensive for what you get), Age 20+.

  • BrianLBDT14

Good fragrance, classic and quality. Ideal for work or semi-formal events where you want to smell clean and put-together without being a fresh citrus. I see it for spring or fall, only if it’s under 73°F. If you’re looking for compliments, you’ve picked the wrong one. It’s a rich scent; I enjoy wearing it to the office.

  • Starts citrusy, clean, and vibrant, then a creamy vanilla kicks in as it dries down, leaving a sweet, musky base. The sillage is short and intimate (under a meter), designed for yourself rather than to impress. In heat, the projection improves without being invasive, except on 95°F+ days when it can get overwhelming. Lasts 10 hours on skin and over 24 on clothes. Versatile year-round, ideal for spring/summer but avoid extreme heat. Great for casual dinners or daytime outings: white shirt, beige chinos, jeans, clean sneakers, or loafers. For the office: navy blazer, untucked shirt, grey or camel trousers, derby shoes. For chill nights: dark tee, light jacket, Chelsea boots, or leather sneakers. Perfect for terraces.

  • Sangobein

My collection’s favorite. An aroma that people like and that gets compliments. It’s a shame it’s so expensive.

  • Franco Palmisano

My signature fragrance for fresh indoor climates. The tonka bean is sublime. It’s one of the perfumes that gives me the most pleasure to wear. It’s fine for short outings; it doesn’t have great projection or longevity, so you’d expect more. Beyond that, totally worth trying at least once.

  • It’s versatile with a clearly sweet inclination, but balanced enough not to be cloying. Its profile is masculine and distinctive, ideal for daytime or mild climates. In extreme heat, it can become dense, so moderate your application. Its weak point is performance: limited longevity and low projection. Probably the early formulations lasted longer, as is common with initial batches.

  • Erik el Rojo

Wonderful, beautiful, and sure to get many compliments… my third favorite fragrance in my entire collection. I’d recommend about 8 sprays on average, depending on the weather.

  • A fragrance that took me a while to get used to; the citrus-aldehyde opening was polarizing, and my aversion to sweetness made it feel heavy in the dry down. It didn’t smell bad, but it didn’t convince me. The hype didn’t help either. I went back to using it much later, and it was different, as if each note had been relocated. I found an elegant, very clean aroma, with moderate aldehydes and tonka bean making it addictive. Sandalwood softens it, giving it body and class. It’s versatile but with character. Seductive in a broad sense, not just sexually. Suitable for any season except the hottest days, but great for evenings. It’s very Chanel, with that aldehyde touch and sense of quality. I don’t see much resemblance to the original Allure Homme Sport; I see it as the adult, nighttime version of Allure Homme Éclat Blanche. Test it first for the aldehydes. For me, it’s a great perfume; if you like it, it’s a must-have. High longevity, good projection without being overwhelming. Masculine but modern. Excellent.

  • It’s rare. At first, when I tried it, it seemed normal. But with wear… it’s incredible. PERIOD. Versatile to no end.

  • Orleanu Valentin

I understand those who demand more performance, especially when paying a premium. I’ve known this perfume since 2017/2018 and have bought it many times. I know how it works: I’ve had batches from 2015 to 2025. The only one I used 100% was the 2018 batch; I sold the rest. With older batches, I was surprised they lasted less than an hour due to poor storage, not because they were fakes. If the batch number doesn’t match between the bottle and the box, it’s fake. Regarding the 2018 batch’s performance: initially, it lasted 5-6 hours and was noticeable until 7 hours. After 3-4 years, it wouldn’t last more than 2 hours even when stored well. I know there were reformulations and that older batches used to last longer, but in this case, if you don’t use it within 2-3 years, it loses significant properties. It’s not like other perfumes where an old batch lasts longer.

  • This is my signature and favorite fragrance. I love that mandarin-mint opening that makes it fresh, clean, and slightly soapy. I’m surprised by its versatility despite the ‘sport’ label; it works with a pressed shirt or a hoodie. Its performance is truly chameleon-like. I believe the age range for wearing it is much broader than most fragrances. The only downsides are the price and the short longevity. Everything else is an olfactory ode.

  • Marco Tabollo

Fresh out of the bottle, it’s dominated by mandarin and mint with a spicy kick of pepper. As it dries down, the sweet vanilla bean of tonka bean emerges, joined by that clean, powdery scent of musk and sandalwood. In the dry down, it remains sweet and powdery with a super sexy, addictive mandarin note. On my skin, it lasts 7-10 hours with strong projection for the first 3-4 hours. I don’t share the complaints about it lasting nothing. It’s wearable year-round and incredibly versatile. Definitely one of my favorites.
