Personally, I prefer Eros Flame because Eros EDP smells like watermelon bubblegum and toothpaste on my skin, as if it just came out of a candy store. It’s not bad, but it doesn’t fit what I was looking for. 6/10.
Ironically, it’s my most affordable fragrance and the one that gets the most compliments when I wear it. Many people say it’s overused, but honestly, it’s a very well-crafted scent, perfect for any situation. Ideal for starting a collection or having something versatile and youthful with that signature sweetness of the Eros line.
Ideal for parties or nights out, smells amazing, and has projection and longevity a bit better than usual (lasted 8 hours and is noticeable at 1-2 meters). Perfect for young people, so for me it’s a 10/10. The downside is that it’s common to smell it; literally, if you go out to a party or the plaza, you’ll smell it everywhere. Is that bad? Depends; if you want to feel exclusive, don’t buy it, lol. If that doesn’t bother you, go for it, many girls like it and it’s safe to say everyone will like it.
I love the scent. The citrus-menthol opening is super refreshing and vibrant, a real delight. Then vanilla takes over, adding a seductive and enveloping touch. It’s well-masculine, ideal for those seeking something that leaves a mark, and best of all, women love it too. Lasts about 7 hours, which is pretty good these days. I bought it at a good price, so I don’t mind reapplying if needed. It remains pleasant and personal all day without losing its essence, a huge plus. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something fresh, seductive, and long-lasting. Perfect for cool nights and days… not recommended in the heat. Rating: 8.5/10.
My first designer perfume; to be honest, I expected more trail and projection. The scent itself is 10/10—very rich, with a pleasant citrus opening that transitions into vanilla before settling close to the skin, where it feels more woody and watery. Lasted 6 hours on my skin and much longer on clothes. It’s an exquisite fragrance, not so much for going out, but perfect for dates or hanging out with friends. Ideal if you want something that smells fresh enough to wear right out of the store.
Although it’s very overused, it’s quite rich, easy to wear, and universally liked. In my experience (3-4 months), I’ve enjoyed it, though it hasn’t blown my mind. The first time, it really impressed me. The aromatic notes and dry-down are excellent. Performance is solid: about 6 hours on skin with decent projection in the first few hours. Verdict: if you’re like me and don’t know the scent yet, love the bottle, or want something great for everyday wear, buy it (if you can find it at a good price). If you’re looking for something strictly for special occasions (nightlife, parties), go for something with more projection.
Great perfume. Lasts 8 hours and all day on clothes. It’s citrusy with an apothecary-level opening and very versatile. You can wear it in any season and it wins over girls.
Very good, it’s different from what I expected, but you have to let it dry down to reveal the beast it is. The mint is very noticeable and it ends up elegant. I’m usually more into sweet perfumes, but I liked this one; I thought it would have more intensity, so if you want it to feel strong, give it a couple of extra sprays.
I love it. It’s youthful and works great with light heat thanks to the top notes, but in extreme heat it turns powdery. You can definitely smell the mint, bergamot, and lemon. The longevity disappointed me; after 4 hours, it’s gone and needs reapplication, though the sillage is good. 9/10.
Perfect for summer, absolutely spectacular. Ideal for the gym without a doubt.
A fragrance designed to appeal to the masses, citrusy and sweet. At first, the citrus is noticeable, with something astringent or bitter, like an underripe orange or lemon with high acidity (similar to Flame); I don’t dislike it, but it can be tiring, and combined with the sweetness, I imagine it could be overwhelming for summer. It’s a joke fragrance or for a casual outing, nothing formal. After half an hour, that acidic note fades, and the sweetness takes over; it’s fine, nothing extraordinary. With Flame already in my collection, it feels redundant since they smell very similar. Perfect perfume for teenagers, especially if you can get it at a good price. On a personal scale, I’d rate it 7.2; if I scored it based on what I believe women like, I’d give it an 8.
A fragrance with an interesting evolution; I don’t know how they manage to make it smell minty at first and then dry down to something sweet/vanilla, masculine, and clean. It’s not a ‘clean’ Blue style like Dylan/YSL, but a clean aromatic masculine scent. Like an ‘Italian’ fragrance. Perfectly balanced citrus, apple, and woods. A very easy-to-please, harmless aroma, quite sweet but not cloying, with a masculine touch as it dries. Lasting power is correct; it’s noticeable for the first two hours and then fades, lingering in a personal bubble until the 7th hour. In the heat, it reactivates a bit like Eros Flame. It’s not beast mode. Comparing Eros EDT and Eros EDP, the former is brighter and ‘sparkly,’ more flashy; you notice it more easily in the first few hours with a stickier, acidic sweetness. The EDP is more complex and rounded, more masculine. I see it as ideal for spring or summer, suitable for daily or nighttime use (even over-applying). Great for going out to eat, a walk. It can work for a date too, but it’s a bit generic.
Perfume snobs hate it, but so what? Is it popular? Yes. Is it very synthetic? Yes. Is it very youthful? Yes. Do women like it? Yes, and a lot. It smells like mentholated bubblegum and overly sweet. It’s the quintessential night scent. The name Eros fits it perfectly. It’s the perfume equivalent of putting on your best party outfit, styling your hair with wax, chewing mints, looking in the mirror, and saying, ‘Today you shine, champ.’
A sweeter apple, less fresh, with less mint and more woody notes; the leather and patchouli don’t stand out. It has better performance than the EDT, but I personally prefer the scent of the EDT, even over the four subsequent releases. There’s a brown bottle that came out a year ago that I haven’t tried yet. Although it doesn’t last as long as the EDP, I prefer the EDT. 9/10 compared to the EDT, which I rate a 10. You can’t ask for more from a fragrance where 200 ml (EDT) costs almost the same as 100 ml of EDP: $68 versus $60.
Vibrant, fresh, sweet but masculine. This screams natural chad, power, and vigor. The only downside is its longevity, which isn’t bad but also not great. Women absolutely love it.
It’s a delicious, very striking masculine scent with that minty touch that makes it perfect for mild weather and nighttime. Yes, it’s gotten super hyped and now people aren’t even recommending it, but it’s still really good, especially the EDT. Remember, this is in our perfume enthusiast world, a minority, because most people don’t consider it relevant to spend more than $50 on fragrances, even though it seems like everyone uses them; in real life, that’s not the case.
It’s a good perfume; it smells great despite the reformulations having significantly reduced its performance. Still, I recommend it for the price—it’s very easy to like.
A rich, sweet yet fresh perfume, making it moderately versatile. I think it works best on cool afternoons and evenings and lasts quite a while.
The opening is citrus-mentholated (like toothpaste), bright, fresh, and super elegant. The best part comes at the dry down: creamy vanilla with sandalwood, patchouli, and a touch of leather that gives it body. The dry down is hypnotic, inviting you to smell your skin over and over again. For me, this is the best of Versace. This EDP is more mature and sober than the EDT, but without losing its seductive spark. It’s elegant and versatile for the day, not for smoky clubs, but ideal for quiet night outings. It’s serious, clean, and magnetic. The dry down is addictive. Performance: very good projection for the first 2 hours, longevity of 6-7 hours with clear presence and 10 hours on skin in an intimate way (better than Flame). Lasts days on clothes. Ideal for 25+ years old, people with a defined character but with a good sense of humor. Personal comparison: EDP is the older brother, elegant and neat; Flame is the younger one, rebellious and party-goer. In conclusion: Perfume Lord. Versace put all the meat on the grill. It’s elegant, fresh, sexy, and with spectacular performance. Buy blind without fear, it’s easy to like and if a woman smells it up close, she won’t let go.
Took my time testing this because I bought it expecting a ‘bomb’ and well, it wasn’t quite that, BUT: Versace Eros EDP has a fresh, minty opening with a sweet touch. That freshness lasts about an hour and then seems to fade… but nope, it’s still there. A bit later, I smell melted vanilla on incredible woods, and when I smell my wrist, I realize, definitely it’s there! Longevity: 8+ hours. 10/10 Sillage: Moderate, calms down after two hours and stays in a personal bubble. 7/10 Scent: Nothing special, but I swear the base notes have something hypnotic. 8/10 TL;DR: If you don’t have the EDT, buy it, it’s excellent.
Hey guys, this is a must-have for your collection. Perfect for dates, friends, or family thanks to its sweet touch of mandarin and vanilla. It’s well-made: versatile, romantic with elegant notes but not overly formal. It offers a warm, noble, and sensual sweetness, ideal for her. On me: 7h longevity, 1h projection, 2h sillage, 4h skin scent, -1.5m trail (after 1h). I recommend it as a signature scent for the office, friends, and family. Not for clubs, sports, or formal/semi-formal events. Best for ages 25+. It’s the kind of versatile perfume I recommend for an afternoon date with a girl; if you’re a gentleman who knows how to carry yourself and talk, it’s perfect. For the club, use the EDT which projects more. 8/10: flirty, romantic, and intimate.
I’m not sure if I’m an expert, but this fragrance didn’t convince me. I went by the comments and ended up disappointed. It has a weird smell, something heavy, and it never quite becomes pleasant. It seems to want to be fresh, but in the attempt it becomes dense. I don’t know when to use it: it’s too heavy for heat and too light for cold. It doesn’t transmit freshness or anything, it just passes without making an impression. It took me a while to get used to it and no one has given me any compliments, although I work with many people. It could work for daily wear, but far from being an eighth wonder. Oh, and it smells too much like Eros Flame.
Finally arrived and it surprised me again. I bought it blind and it was worth it. When it arrived today, the citrus opening hit me hard; it smells like well-marked citrus at the start. It leaves a powerful sillage, lasting 2-3 hours on my hand with constant bursts. It’s rich, full of citrus, and potent. As it dries, the vanilla notes appear creating a perfect mix between acidic and sweet. It’s a bit more serious, but ideal for clubs or casual outings if you want to impress.
Versace Eros turns days into memorable experiences. I use it before going out to eat or during my personal time; it accompanies me with elegance, but on my skin the longevity is limited, so I give it a 6 out of 10.
I have it right now and it’s excellent, I love it and would buy it again. Longevity is at least 8 hours, sillage 8/10. I really get good compliments. It’s totally worth it; anyone saying it doesn’t last probably has a dupe.
It’s my star fragrance, the ultimate compliment machine. I loved it so much that on a date with a friend she said I smelled ‘over the top’. It’s rich, citrusy, and fresh, but with a sweet and creamy touch from the vanilla that makes it elegant and seductive. It radiates youth and is much better than the Eros EDT. The longevity is brutal: 9 hours with a heavy sillage that leaves a trail. It projects for 4-5 hours. I got it for $39 two years ago, now it’s around $50 in Chile. It serves almost for everything, except extreme heat. It’s not hard to like, ideal for 18-30 year olds. Flawless performance and decent price, totally recommended.
Caramelized and vanilla mint with a citrus touch, that’s it. It smells good and people like it. It was my first fragrance when I got interested in this almost 3 years ago. Another one that delivers, but I wouldn’t buy it again today.
Batch 11/24: A gift from my girlfriend and I say it without bias, it’s amazing! I’ll definitely buy it again when I run out. The opening is fresh tangerine and mint, ideal for extreme heat, but watch out: as it dries, it turns into an insane vanilla bomb, nothing in my collection comes close. In the opening, I notice citrus and mint, but I don’t smell the caramelized apple from the description, maybe my nose isn’t tuned in yet. The mid-notes say geranium and ylang-ylang, but honestly, I don’t smell them, so I’m not sure if they’re real. When it dries, it smells like vanilla, but not that excessive sweetness that only works for winter; it’s light, easy to wear, versatile for cold and heat, without being suffocating. It’s not a leather-led fragrance, but I imagine that touch makes the vanilla feel creamy. Try it, it’s good. I put it on at 7 AM and can still smell it on my skin and clothes at 4-5 PM, lasting until I wash. My girlfriend says the first 2-3 hours it projects a lot, then it calms down to a personal bubble. Recommended blind, works in any climate. Longevity 10/10, Sillage 10/10, Projection 10/10. You won’t regret it.
It’s a vibrant fragrance with mentholated citrus openings that last about 15 minutes, then turns sweet with mint, earthy, and herbal; by the dry down, the wood and vanilla base adds seriousness. I consider it long-lasting: 6 hours on skin, 7-12 hours on clothes, with moderate sillage and good projection. Its versatility makes it pleasant and it gets lots of compliments. It’s extroverted, charismatic, and youthful without losing elegance.
The quintessential daily: smells good, adapts to all climates, incredible longevity and projection, good price. A beautiful perfume that delivers on everything a daily should have. Very versatile for any situation, adapts to everything. 10/10, recommended as a single fragrance or to complete a small collection.
I’m obsessed with this. I use it for things beyond its usual purpose. It was a gift from my dad, my first designer fragrance at 16 (now 20), and I already own two bottles. With over a hundred reviews for Eros EDP, I’ll skip the note breakdown. It smells great: starts with apple and mint, then in minutes becomes dense, dropping from ambroxan to vanilla and cedar. It’s my daily driver since 2022 in two different climates. Simply rich, dense, and easy to wear (despite its density). In heat, stick to two or three sprays, max four. You can’t always wear it or should, and if you do, use a little. Versatile, rich, good for learning notes like mint, apple, and ambroxan. Rich, not too youthful due to the density, gives a cool sensation, and is easy to wear. Batch AD2437.
Hey, I bought this Eros EDP in 2025 for about €40 on sale, so good price. The scent is hard to dislike: fresh with a touch of sweet, a combo that almost always works. It’s the typical signature scent that serves for everything and fits any context. Important: on my dry skin, with current batches, it lasts about 5 long hours. Nothing like the first batches that lasted over 7. In my opinion, they’ve ‘nerfed’ it quite a bit. A shame because it smells good, but it no longer has the performance of before. If your skin doesn’t retain well, it probably won’t last more than 6 hours. Should I recommend it? Yes, but with caveats: don’t buy it in a rush or at full price. When a fragrance loses performance after a reformulation, it bothers me. I’d only buy it if there’s a good deal, like I did.
Versatile with a rich citrus apple opening, it reminds me very faintly of YSL Y EDP. Then it turns sweet and clean thanks to the vanilla and ambroxan. It’s fun, not annoying or invasive, perfect for daily wear. For me, it’s a lifesaver, it never fails and is a hit. It meets expectations and everyone likes it. Undoubtedly the best in the Eros line. Recurring purchase.
Good perfume 😎🤝
The opening smells like Raid insecticide… The mint and apple are noticeable right after applying. As it dries, the vanilla comes out, which with the citrus leaves a soft and pleasant aroma. In my opinion, it doesn’t last long and you have to reapply. The trail isn’t striking; it feels more personal. I like it, but with better longevity and projection it would be perfect.
Perfect for going out to a party: starts bright and sweet as it dries down.
Very good for any occasion, but a bit burnt. The opening is excellent with that rich caramelized apple. As it dries, the vanilla with the apple works very well; it’s not bad, it’s delicious. The projection isn’t bad nor overpowering. I use it in summer for the fresh lime. The price isn’t cheap but it doesn’t pass $100. It’s amazing, though a bit burnt, I recommend it. I give it 9/10.
ADN has been around for over 10 years, so even though the EDP came out 6 years ago, it doesn’t feel modern in 2026. But it stands out from other sweet perfumes and is unmistakable. Ideal for cool days; with just a few sprays, it doesn’t suffocate in the heat. The projection is brutal, people recognize me from meters away.
The tangerine and orange notes bring a faint memory of Eros Flame, but overall it’s good. I would prefer the EDT. Watch out, it has a leather note; if you don’t like it, better look for Flame or the EDT instead.
A perfume that delivers and is versatile, but it smells more like vanilla than citrus or mint. The scent is very common and reminds me of deodorant due to its mass use. Great for dates since girls like it, though not so much for me. Average performance, does the basics ⭐⭐⭐☆☆
