Descripción
Missoni Wave by Missoni is an aromatic citrus fragrance for men. Launched in 2020, the nose behind this creation is Christophe Raynaud. The top notes evoke a marine breeze with citrus and Sicilian mandarin; the heart unfolds lavender, heliotrope, rosemary, and Egyptian geranium; while the base notes settle on a foundation of vanilla orchid, Haitian vetiver, patchouli, and oakmoss.

I only smelled Chanel Allure Homme Sport once on a sample, so I don’t remember it well enough to say if it’s similar. But I owned Versace Pour Homme a long time ago, and after half an hour, this definitely reminds me a lot of it. I don’t know the performance yet, but I’ve liked it so far.
Good perfume, standard scent, a true all-rounder. I’m testing it in cold weather and it performs quite well, though some nuances don’t come out or develop in the chill. It sometimes reminds me of old-school Chanel Allure Homme Sport and Versace Pour Homme; I don’t know how they hold up now. It’s either Chanel or Versace all the time, with no originality at any point. If you like those vintage versions and want something under 100 euros, this is a more than good buy. Solid performance.
I just got this fragrance and I can tell you it’s crazy. It’s a sparkling, youthful citrus explosion. I loved it even though I’m in my 40s; I wear it because it gives me great energy and makes me feel younger when I apply it. I adored it!
Missoni Wave is citrusy, marine, and aromatic. The opening is pleasant and very bright, reminiscent of Allure Homme Sport or Versace Pour Homme. As it dries down, it keeps its marine notes with a woody base of vetiver and patchouli. It’s very fresh, perfect for spring and summer. Versatile for any occasion, formal or informal, and ageless. It’s not very original and shares similarities with Chanel and Versace, but I absolutely love it. Performance is excellent—over 10 hours with moderate projection, which is a huge plus for me. I’d recommend buying blind if you like Allure Sport or Versace Pour Homme as an excellent alternative. Personally, I’m buying a bottle.
Smells great, perfect for hot spring or summer days. The only downside is that on my skin it doesn’t last more than 3 hours, but from what I’ve seen, that’s my problem since it lasts quite a bit on most people.

For the comment below, if it helps: on my skin it lasts the same. I let someone else try it and same result. It seems to fail badly on longevity, what a shame because it smells wonderful.
Average, more of the same. It does the job and that’s it. The rating seems exaggerated to me, probably due to the quality/price ratio since the price is rock-bottom.
Forget the 60s Missoni vibe; this smells like Allure Sport or Versace Pour Homme, same family. It’s pleasant, cheap, and lasts 20/21: with 4-8 sprays it lasts all day, like a Golf ball in a car. If you already own one of the others, this is redundant.
Sounds like a citrusy Acqua di Gio at first but of lower quality. Once it dries, it’s slightly creamy, though barely noticeable. The good thing is it doesn’t smell like alcohol and is pleasant, but this is just expensive water. I feel like I wasted money: I sprayed it ten times on my hoodie and an hour later, I couldn’t smell it even bringing my nose close. A single spray of Azzaro Chrome Extreme on my hand overpowers the scent. I’m disappointed; the quality-to-price ratio is ridiculously high, paying for water at gold prices. My batch is from March 2022 and I use it in a European heatwave; I can’t imagine using it in winter. The dry-down is almost identical to Nautica Voyage, which crushes this fragrance in projection, performance, and scent overall.
Citrus opening reminiscent of Acqua di Gio but worse quality. Dries down creamy, though barely scents. The good thing is it doesn’t smell like alcohol, but it’s pure water and expensive. I wasted my money: ten sprays on a sweatshirt and an hour later I can’t smell it even up close. One spray of Azzaro Chrome Extreme drowns it out. Disappointing value, paying gold for water. March 2022 batch. I use it in European heat waves; can’t imagine the performance in winter. The drydown is like Nautica Voyage, which it devours in projection and scent.
I don’t own nor have I owned Chanel Allure Home… mostly my opinion is based on its high longevity and extensive development. In short, a good fragrance if you don’t want to pay a fortune for the fragrance it mimics.
How they raised the price of this after everyone put it in the clouds! YouTube marketing is blowing in the wind.
Wonderful. It’s fresh, marine, and modern. I find it quite original; it’s not similar to Allure Homme Sport or Versace Pour Homme, although it follows the same path. Excellent option for summer.
I bought this perfume because it was on discount. Once it dries, 5 minutes after applying it to the skin, it’s identical to Chanel Allure Homme Sport. Versace Pour Homme is also quite similar to these two, at about 80%, since it shares the same DNA but subtle differences are perceptible. I went to a store several times with the Missoni to compare it with all three, and my conclusions are: the price of Allure isn’t justified, so I recommend going for Missoni if you find it at a good price and want an almost exact clone, or for Versace. The quality in both is great, the performance doesn’t differ, and they cost much less.
I think it’s a fresh fragrance with a citrus and floral masculine aroma. Absolutely perfect for warm climates and with good performance. In my case, it lasts up to 6 hours with constant and solid projection. It’s relatively versatile, but I’d recommend it more for dates or casual elegant daytime social outings. I insist, I believe this fragrance achieves its best version on very hot days. I also find it similar to Allure Homme Sport (I prefer the scent of this one). I suggest being discreet with the sprays as it can be a bit overwhelming despite its freshness.
Missoni Wave smells like fresh mandarin with aquatic and herbal touches, a very neat, sunny vibe from the 90s, ideal for everyday wear without pretensions. If someone doesn’t like it, their sense of smell is off. The bottle is top-notch and I found it for €25 on sale (100ml), a steal. It lasts about 4 hours; for home or sport, 3 sprays are enough, but for going out, you need to hit it 10 or 12 times, even double-dosing on clothes, otherwise, forget it. For me, who prefers moderate perfumes, it doesn’t bother me at all.
Missoni Wave is a good fresh fragrance guided by mandarin, while aquatic, herbal, and floral notes emerge. The dry-down is rich, 90s-style, neat without going soapy. It’s for close range, daytime, and sunny situations, for casual moments where smelling good is enough. If someone tells you they hate it, they have a problem with their olfactory glands. The quality and bottle design are above average. I bought it for about 25€ on sale (100 ml), which is a steal. Performance: it lasts me about 4 hours… with nuances. For sports or home, 3 sprays are enough, but not for going out; for normal life (work, casual outings), you have to hit it 10 or 12 times without fear, including double sprays and well on clothes, or forget it. I’m saying this starting from the fact that I like moderate perfumes. Don’t worry, you won’t bother anyone; quite the opposite.
A well-known Italian influencer recommended this to me, saying it was very similar to Chanel Allure Extreme. At first, I thought it didn’t last because I needed to let it mature, and it’s true that the citrus part is somewhat similar, but it’s an impossible perfume to dislike. I got it at a good price, the bottle is excellent, the cap is very magnetic, and the atomizer is one of the best I own, but far from Chanel… the intense powdery aromatic part isn’t noticeable. Since you apply it, it projects nothing, and after 3 hours, unless you rub your arm with your nose, you can’t even smell it. ‘Regretted’ isn’t the word, but don’t buy it thinking it’s like Allure because it doesn’t even reach the sole of its shoe.
Starts with a clean, bright punch: Sicilian mandarin delivers that juicy sweetness, while marine and citrus notes create an open-horizon breeze, almost tangible. It’s a diaphanous, refreshing opening that invites you to take a deep breath, as if you’re standing by the Mediterranean. The heart is aromatic yet retains its freshness: lavender, rosemary, sage, and Egyptian geranium build a serene, masculine profile with nods to classic elegance. As it dries, it anchors on a balanced base of Haitian vetiver, patchouli, and oakmoss, softened by a discreet, almost golden warmth from orchid vanilla. It’s for the guy who values curated naturalness, sober energy, and a connection to sea and earth. Perfect for daily wear, but with enough refinement to stand out without making a fuss. It evokes someone who seeks beauty in simplicity and strength in consistency. In classical music, it reminds me of Piazzolla’s “Suite Punta del Este” for its fresh melody with depth. In jazz, it connects with Hermeto Pascoal’s “Black and White Portrait,” fluid and saline. If it had a color, it would be a light cobalt blue with silver sparkles like the sea at dawn.

A fresh, aromatic, aquatic, and floral fragrance that evolves in that exact order. Smells great and is easy to wear. Perfect for hot days, the gym, the office, or daily routines. Definitely doesn’t shine in the cold, but it’s cheerful and youthful. Ideal for morning meetings or outdoor activities in the heat. The good thing is that for the price, you can always reapply; outdoors it lasts 3 to 4 hours before fading, but indoors or at the office, if you’re sitting still, it clings to the skin for 7 to 8 hours, or about 6 if you’re moving around. Highly recommended; it’s one of my favorite fresh scents in my collection because of that hybrid of two great perfumes. I find it fresher and less creamy than the others.

Smells absolutely delicious at first—super citrusy and floral with a creamy, sweet touch. Reminds me a lot of Versace Pour Homme and Allure Homme Sport, but this Missoni Wave is just a bit sweeter. The scent is exquisite, smells amazing, and is a top-tier option for summer.
