Definitely, I struggle with dominant patchouli notes. It smells good and isn’t excessively wild, but eventually, it takes on tones that don’t suit me. The heart note is patchouli; pink pepper is noticeable at first but then fades. With all due respect, I’d say it shares something with Allure EDT, especially a floral aspect, even though they don’t list honeysuckle here. Performance and intensity are good.
What a find. I committed the sin of buying it blind and have no regrets. Opens with citrus, woods, and patchouli, then dries down to a powdery, sweet scent. The trail and longevity are top-notch. Perfect for events, work, or a very posh day out. I enjoy it in summer for that fresh opening. Once dried, it’s almost like the EDP, but this one is more versatile because it evolves, whereas the other is denser and more linear. It’s elegant, sexy, and playful, but without that cloying strawberry syrup vibe.
It’s sensual and exotic, very much in the Chanel style. Smells like a cousin to Coco Noir: it takes you to an oriental market where amber, nuts, and vetiver blend perfectly with iris and rose (I don’t detect jasmine). It works year-round if you don’t overapply, as it can be strong. Lasts about 6 hours with a trail that goes from intense to moderate. Will I repurchase? Absolutely!
