Disappointing performance: it barely lasts two hours on skin. But the scent is incredibly rich.

Perfect for wrapping up in October, that indefinable, dusty month. You live in uncertainty, with a gray sky undecided between faded blue and opaque white. October deserves to be captured; it advances and shifts tones that are lost if you’re not paying attention. 1270 smells fantastically autumnal and is one of Frapin’s best: delicious, high-quality, and complex. It’s worth noting that the trail is poor for the price, so you need to overapply; the projection is discreet, which is unforgivable given what it offers. I perceive dried fruits, plums, resins, honey, and a hint of cognac perfectly assembled, pure craftsmanship that makes you feel greedy and a little tipsy, all very balanced without harshness. Spicy raisins soon turn into sweet fruit with spices, excellent. The woods are there all the time, with no holes in the composition. It smells great, but the power is low; it’s only noticeable up close if you spray generously. If it had more punch, it would be on my buy list, so better to look toward Laudano Nero, which is different but punchy and long-lasting.

It’s for personal enjoyment and close encounters. It doesn’t last long, longevity is scarce, and projection is medium-low; it stays close to the skin.

The 1270 by Frapin is a delicious gourmand fragrance; upon smelling it, you can clearly tell it’s niche due to the high quality it exudes. Its ingredients are perfectly balanced and embraced by a refined, delicious oud. It’s sweet but not cloying, completely unisex. I see it as a fragrance for personal enjoyment and close encounters. It doesn’t last long, its longevity is scarce, and the projection is medium to low, staying close to the skin.

I tried this with an 8ml decant from a niche subscription. How important it is to give things a second chance. The first time, it seemed masculine and I almost gave it to my partner, but it’s perfectly unisex and we shared it. It comes out very fruity, then blends into a brandied dessert with fruits, nuts, spices, and cocoa. It’s sweet, warm, and delicious, an atypical gourmand. It’s addictive, and I try to wear it always. I love how it smells and it has a decent trail. Pity about the price and that it doesn’t last more than five hours on my skin. Scent 10/10, Longevity 6/10, Projection 7/10, Value 3/10, Versatility 8/10, Packaging 6/10. Would I buy again? No.

It opens with a very fruity top note that evolves into a delicious dessert-like dry down, boozy, with fruits, nuts, spices, and cocoa. It smells sweet and warm, an atypical gourmand that’s addictive and I want to wear it all the time. I love how it smells and it has good sillage, but the price hurts and it doesn’t last long on my skin. Scent: 10/10, Longevity: 6/10, Sillage: 7/10, Value: 3/10, Versatility: 8/10, Packaging: 6/10. Would I buy it again? No.

I can clearly distinguish several notes in the blend: delicious pineapple, plum, nuts, cocoa, coffee, honey, vanilla, and hazelnut. It’s one of the most special and well-balanced gourmands I’ve tried. While sweet, it’s not heavy or annoying, even in enclosed spaces. What disappoints me is the longevity and projection; it lasts about 6-7 hours with 3 hours of good projection, but for a gourmand, I expected more—perhaps like Bond No. 9’s New Harlem, which exceeds 12 hours. Additionally, given Frapin’s high price (over $250 for 100ml), it’s not worth overspending. Still, it’s a fantastic and masterfully crafted scent, one of my favorites.

It opens very fruity, especially the pineapple. Then come the nuts, hazelnut, and lots of cocoa. The dry-down is sweeter thanks to the honey, but not cloying. Contrary to comments about projection and longevity, on my skin it hasn’t performed poorly. Good longevity and adequate projection; I can smell it without any issues. A totally unisex gourmand, better suited for cold weather. Recommended if you have money to spare.

The opening is very fruity, especially the pineapple. Then the nuts come through, hazelnut and quite a bit of cocoa. The dry down is sweeter thanks to the honey, but it doesn’t get cloying, at least not on me. Contrary to what’s usually said about projection and longevity, it hasn’t performed badly on my skin. Good longevity and decent projection, but I can definitely smell it. It’s a totally unisex gourmand, better suited for cold weather. Recommended if you have money to spare.

Frapin achieves perfection by mixing pineapple with nuts and spices, creating a perfume so wonderful you can’t believe it contains all those ingredients. Like everything from the house, it evokes rum, but this one is fresher, fruitier, and sweeter; personally, it reminds me of peaches in syrup over a young, sensual, slightly oriental masculine base. I’ve never smelled anything like it. It’s another different perfume for people with exquisite and demanding taste and noses.

Frapin achieves perfection by blending pineapple, nuts, and spices into a wonderful perfume you wouldn’t expect to carry all those elements. Like other Frapin fragrances, it evokes rum, but this one is fresher, fruitier, and sweet. It reminds me of canned peaches over a young, sensual, slightly oriental masculine base. I’ve never heard anything like it. Another unique fragrance for people with exquisite taste and a refined nose.
