Descripción

L'Humaniste by Frapin is a spicy aromatic fragrance for men. Launched in 2009, this composition was created by Sidonie Lancesseur. The top notes reveal a vibrant citrus blend of Amalfi lemon, bergamot, cardamom, pink pepper, and pepper. The heart unfolds with juniper berries, nutmeg, thyme, and peony, while the base offers a warm, woody foundation of gin, oakmoss, and tonka bean.

  • Realistic, honest, and most importantly, accurate what @gelo999 said when referring to ‘the unoriginal and boring multi-editions of Allure by Chanel’.

  • Very effervescent citrus opening, smells like gin with lemon and a hint of pepper. Then the effect fades, leaving just lemon, juniper berries, and moss. In the dry down, I didn’t notice much because it’s barely audible. That’s the problem: it smells good, it’s original for a citrus, but it lasts 3 hours on my skin and very close to the skin. If you want to smell it, you have to bring your nose close, and even then, it’s hard. For the price and performance, I don’t recommend it.

  • Picture this: summer, a sunny morning, lounging on freshly cut grass, proud fresh peonies, a crystal-clear pool, and a gin tonic with ice, lemon, and a sugar rim. The warrior’s dream rest. That’s how L’Humaniste smells. It reminds me of Chanel Allure Edition Blanche, but with better quality. Good scent, quality above designer but not excellent, very versatile and commercial. However, I find it too linear; it could get boring with continuous wear. Projects well for a couple of hours, then fades and clings to the skin like a soft powdery musk. Moderate to poor longevity (a downside); need to reapply every two or three hours, just like my buddy oscarsh86. Rating: 5.5

  • Incredible aroma, unfortunately, I’m indifferent to it because it doesn’t last at all. The opening is perfect with cardamom, pepper, juniper, and citrus, but that’s where it stops. It dilutes extremely fast. It would be the ideal scent for hot days if it lasted even a little. I don’t know if it’s my skin, but it’s gone in under an hour.

  • Right out of the bottle, it’s pure lemon straight to the bone, like you just doused yourself in it… but after 5 minutes, the magic begins: it evolves into a refreshing gin drink. It has the vibe of 212 VIP but with way better quality. Longevity is about 6 hours… pushing it on the skin (if it lasted longer, it would be perfect as a summer signature). Projection is moderate-low, lasting 1-2 hours at arm’s length before settling into the skin where it’s barely noticeable.
