What a disappointment this Derviche II is. I was hoping for an evolution of the previous Derviche, but it smells completely different. I love Rogue and have several gems in my collection, so reviewing this feels out of place. It smells generic from start to finish; I’ve heard it everywhere and it’s identical to current best-sellers, offering nothing new and very unappealing. It seems like a mix of Invictus, Sauvage, and One Million, or any other trendy best-seller. It starts sweet and fruity, but every minute it gets sweeter as the amber, vanilla, and musk emerge, which are the only notes left. I don’t detect any oud, nor the cheap Indian or Southeast Asian type that smells better and has more body. The longevity is excellent, lasting about 10-12 hours, and the projection exceeds the average, reaching two meters for 3-4 hours. In short, it’s a mass-produced scent with great longevity and projection, which is inappropriate for a house I admire so much for its previous work.

Totally disappointing. The Rogue discovery set seems to have mixed 1 Million Lucky into an art deco bottle. A total fiasco; I can’t understand what Manuel Cross was thinking with this.
