Wow! Just opened it and applied it. Here’s the preview. Lots of leather as soon as it hits the skin, maybe musk, vetiver, and a hidden jasmine with violet leaves. Little pepper (thank God). Vanilla and amber notes. A bit creamy from the pear, but everything is disguised by the leather. Somewhat green and almond-like, perhaps from the petals and bergamot. I don’t feel it’s feminine; unisex works fine. Once it dries down properly, it feels sweet, vanilla-rich, and with that ambered jasmine. It has great projection.
Wow! Just opened it and applied it. From the very first touch, lots of leather, maybe musk, vetiver, and a hidden jasmine with violet leaves. Little pepper, bless it! It’s vanilla and amber with a creamy hint from the pear that the leather disguises perfectly. It has a green-almond nuance, perhaps from the petal and bergamot. I don’t feel it’s feminine; it could easily be unisex. As it dries, it becomes sweet, vanilla, and that ambered jasmine. The projection is really good.
I love it. The opening is citrusy but well-balanced with green notes; within minutes, vetiver, musk, and vanilla take over, becoming very creamy. In the dry down, only vanilla remains. It lasted about 6-7 hours with great projection—you can really feel its presence. I find it very versatile for any season, though more suitable for day than night. It feels different from the usual Carolina Herrera offerings, with an oriental touch.

An original creation and different from recent launches. I don’t have anything similar in my collection, which is why I included it. It’s fresh vanilla, spiced (I love the pepper), and sweet, with a wearable, creamy leather base. I usually have trouble with leather notes; I only own three with this accorde. It could be unisex. If you like perfumes like Lalique Le Parfum, this CH might fit you. Smelling it reminds me of the color orange (I don’t know why, but it happens to me). I’ll keep updating my impressions. Does it resemble La Belle? La Belle is sweeter; both have pear, but this is a different story. They might share the leather, but in La Belle, it stands out less due to the high sweetness.
The opening is exquisite, the notes are incredible, magical. I fell in love at first sniff. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last long, and then a very potent pepper note kicks in, which I don’t really like. I still enjoy it; it’s different from commercial scents, but something doesn’t quite convince me—it gives off a mature vibe. The dry down is pepper with musk and a floral touch. It’s sophisticated and lovely, but it doesn’t hook me as much as the fresh, youthful opening. Still, it’s enjoyable. I’d love to try it on skin.
Tested it on my skin today and I’m blown away: it’s not that generic sweet fruity-floral stuff the brand usually churns out. Despite the packaging, it smells completely different. It’s based on the original but with a smart twist; it feels closer to the Privee than the other flankers. The opening is green, herbaceous, almost medicinal—like a balm with vanilla, reminiscent of Mugler’s Aura but drier and woodier. Then comes a bold leather note, tempered by woods and a praline-like sweetness that turns velvety as the leather fades, without losing that green edge (I’m sensing a raw, earthy vetiver, more Lutens than Guerlain). For me, who adores woods, leathers, and deep sweets, it’s a resounding yes. Must admit, Carolina Herrera has done a brutal job with vetiver in feminine perfumes; it acts subtly without veering into masculine territory. It’s not ultra-feminine, so if you don’t like abstract proposals, approach with caution. I’m going to try the men’s version to see if these are two surprises or one…

It’s a flanker built on the original’s base, which is a joy to smell. Since the original is well-crafted, having this Passion echo that base while offering a twist is a good sign. It’s closer to CH Priveé than Eau or Beauties. Worth it. Instead of the original’s citrus opening, we get a green, herbaceous, almost medicinal vibe, like a balm with vanilla reminiscent of Mugler Aura and Scandal Le Parfum, but less sweet, drier, and woodier. Over time, a noticeable leather emerges, moderated by woods and a balanced sweetness (for me, it’s the praline of the original). The longer it wears, the more that velvety sweetness gains ground as the leather fades, without losing that green-medical tone (thanks to a raw, earthy vetiver, more like Lutens than Guerlain). For me, who loves woods, leathers, and dry sweets, this is a yes. A shout-out to Carolina Herrera’s work with vetiver in women’s perfumes; in this and Very Good Girl, it acts without veering into overtly masculine territory. It’s not ultra-feminine, so don’t jump in blindly if you dislike abstract, unconventional proposals. I’m going to try the CH Passion Men’s version to see if it’s another surprise…
Nothing original, makes no sense.
I bought it blind and was pleasantly surprised. It’s elegant and super long-lasting. I’ve used it twice, and it lasted over 8 hours on my skin and up to two days on clothes. I’m not an expert, but it seems like a super sexy and refined scent. It doesn’t remind me of anything else I’ve tried, and I love that it’s not overused. It’s become my favorite; plus, I got it on sale from a major beauty store in CH.

Exquisite perfume! I think it’s very original; I don’t have anything like it. It has a brutal sillage and beastly longevity of 10-12 hours on skin; even after showering, I still smell it slightly on my skin, and it lasts days on clothes. 10/10
It’s different for me, more so than other C Herrera scents. It has a non-sweet vanilla, could be unisex. Longevity is great and it lasts almost three days on clothes. I would buy it again.
A spicy vanilla. Starts citrusy and becomes spiced over time, sometimes with a hint of musk. If you like vanillas but don’t want to smell like generic pancake vanilla, this is your option. Beyond that, it doesn’t add much novelty to the line.
I love this perfume! It’s obvious if it’s from the fixed line. I smell it as a spicy vanilla with pepper, very creamy. The leather isn’t annoying at all; it’s a soft suede base. I’ll definitely buy it again.
What a different perfume! I ordered it at Secante one day and didn’t like it much at first, sensing a mossy aroma. Then I gave it another chance on skin and wow! An exquisite, almost mentholated fresh vanilla that feels cool on the skin. About 40% unisex and I love it. I feel it works for any season, but especially fall and spring. Very special and distinct; I can already see myself buying it again.
It smells like clean diapers and burnt plastic to me. Bought blindly and I’m trying not to hate it, but it’s getting hard. It’s nothing special; it smells like anything anyone who knows nothing about perfumes would wear.
This perfume is rich, vanilla-spiced, with a fresh twist that reminds me of Mugler’s Aura. The moment I sprayed it, I immediately thought of that Aura.
I bought it blindly last year and it didn’t click for me at first—the opening was very spicy and the drydown didn’t settle. Almost a year later, as spring is ending, it finally makes sense. Still super spicy at first, but quickly gives way to jasmine, vanilla, and leather. That last note adds elegance and a unique character. Out of my 100+ perfumes, this is the most distinct. C Herrera isn’t my favorite designer, but this one earned its spot. Not for everyone, which makes it distinguished. Longevity and sillage are top-tier. 💖🇦🇷
CH Passion is a jewel: starts citrusy with a peppery kick before unfolding into a spectacular vanilla/leather blend, refreshed by vetiver. It’s not your average scent; that vanilla has spicy, woody, and piquant nuances. Longevity is unbeatable (8h+) with extreme projection and a noticeable sillage. Watch out with the sprays!
Another discontinued gem that deserves way more buzz. It has a brutal personality, typical of Quentin Bisch’s creations.
