  • Either I’m out of touch with the world, or this launch is passing without a trace in Spain. The first Moncler fragrance was intriguing with its forest and powdered snow notes. I’ve never been to a ski resort, but I can use my imagination; it makes me think of nature and cold outdoors. In fact, its opening has a salty note that I absolutely adore. The downside is that as it settles, it loses that originality, leaving a warm powdery vanilla with lots of dust and a vintage touch. I’m not sure if it smells like snow, but it definitely smells like “white color.” It compares to Hypnotic Poison, yes and no. At first, I thought it was the same, but with more tests, I changed my mind. It lacks the elegant and sexy character of Dior; it’s daytime, with a certain sporty air that seems ideal to me for the office or everyday wear in cool stations. It’s not masculine, not gourmand, and not clubbing. It’s tender, comforting, and warm, like putting on a cashmere blanket. Imagine a cabin in a snowy landscape, working with a vanilla candle, and stepping out onto the porch with a blanket. It has a relation to the dry-down of Alaïa Blanche and Narciso Poudrée. It’s not a projection bomb, but the longevity isn’t bad. I don’t like the canteen-style bottle; it’s ordinary. I like it quite a bit, but the price, closer to niche than designer, is outrageous. It’s not worth it. I’ve been wearing it for days and will edit the review in weeks.

I clearly distinguish the powdery notes, the vanilla, and the heliotrope, three of my favorites. It’s a powdery and sweet aroma but not heavy, very pleasant. Somewhere in the background, I perceive amber and woods, balancing everything. The snow scent? I’m not sure I noticed it; I’ve never actually smelled real snow, so I think they put it on the list to create a psychological effect. P.S. Now that I’m using it in cold weather, I like it more; I feel like a living vanilla ice cream, very delicious!

I clearly distinguish the powdery notes, the vanilla, and the heliotrope, three of my favorite notes, making it a powdery and sweet aroma but not heavy, which makes this fragrance very pleasant for me; I liked it. Somewhere in the background, I perceive amber and woods, which help balance the scent. The snow scent? Well, I’m not sure I noticed it (I’ve never smelled real snow despite living in and visiting places where it snows heavily in winter); with over 50 votes, there will be someone who can smell it in this fragrance. I think they put the ingredient on the list to create a psychological effect. P.S. Now that I’m using it in cold weather, I like it more; I feel like a living vanilla ice cream, very delicious!

I have to admit I was surprised to find it here, as they don’t even carry the gossip. I’ve had it for a year, but only just tried it. It’s a ball of powder coated in vanilla and heliotrope; for some noses, it might be more vanilla or more talc, which is also present. Sandalwood and cedar give it a robust, sporty nuance. I can’t find the bergamot, jasmine, or amber. It’s a bit like Dior’s Hypnotic Poison or Zara’s Hypnotic Vanilla, but they’re not clones; this one is more daytime, less sensual than Dior, and more powdery than creamy. No almonds or white flowers here, it just looks similar. They share that soft, powdery vanilla, but this one is dustier. It evokes a cozy cabin with snow and hot drinks, or a sled ride through the forest. It’s a memorable perfume that makes you live things you haven’t done. I think the bottle’s screen is ugly, 2/10. Longevity 9/10 (10-12 hours), sillage 3/10 (very intimate), originality 7/10, versatility 4/10 (only cold environments). Personal taste 9/10. I’d probably buy it again if I ran out.

  • Why did I never try this before? I have no idea what happened to me. I’m addicted to smelling this perfume; I go to any perfumery looking for a bottle to spray myself and savor it again. It’s an incredible composition: powdery, transparent, and captivating, perfect for the sensation of caressing or kissing a woman’s skin. It’s sensual and feminine, capable of bewitching. It smells like sweet almond with powdered flowers, soft and fluffy, like a heliotrope accord with musk, bergamot, and powdered snow (even though snow doesn’t smell, it’s marketing), mixed with fresh flowers, woods, and an almost perfect vanilla. It has similarities to Dior but with distinct facets. Balanced, subtle, and long-lasting, Quentin Bisch achieved a unique freshness. Moncler isn’t as well-known, making it ideal for surprising people.

  • Thanks to Jerry Drake, I jumped in blind on this 100ml bottle, and what a hit. It sits in the Hypnotic Poison family, but to me, it reminds me more of Confetto, which I’ve already finished and absolutely love, especially knowing the price point of the house. Powdery notes, heliotrope, and vanilla (I’d say even almond, even though it’s not listed), plus that touch of snow… I’m not sure if it’s a smell or a cold, mentholated sensation. Not much is said about it, and that’s better; it’s more for me and less mass-produced.

Soft at first, very pretty… you can smell the heliotrope and that powdery texture, with a very delicate jasmine. Then the vanilla and sandalwood come out playing, alternating like they’re playing a game of mystery. Everything here is soft, even innocent; it’s like ironing a freshly washed shirt with fabric softener, feeling that scent of steam. Beautiful and subtle.

I love it! Even though I’m not a fan of gourmands, this vanilla is something else. It’s not that I don’t like them; it’s that I just can’t tolerate them. This perfume is super feminine: woody vanilla with a slight powdery touch. When it dries down, it reminds me a bit of Kenzo Amour, but they’re not the same; each has its own character. The Moncler one is very versatile, without massive projection but with great longevity; it easily lasts 10 hours on my skin. If you don’t like gourmand vanillas, I recommend it.

I bought this perfume blind, and unfortunately, it wasn’t a hit for me. I find it very powdery, with a marked presence of that dusty texture that just doesn’t convince me. Besides, it mixes with a woody note that I find somewhat confusing, and together they give it a fairly unisex character. I didn’t connect with it. It didn’t align with what I look for in a fragrance or my personal style. However, my 15-year-old daughter absolutely loved it, so it ended up in very good hands. I definitely wouldn’t buy it again.

  • Bought it blind and, wow, it wasn’t my cup of tea. It smells very powdery, with that dusty texture that just doesn’t suit me, and that woody note is a bit confusing, giving it a unisex vibe I’m not looking for. It’s not for me or my style, but my 15-year-old daughter absolutely loved it, so it’s in good hands. Definitely won’t be buying it again.
