  1. Simple, with lavender, apple, and a touch of ambroxan. After 15-30 minutes, it leaves a clean, soap-like scent. To me, it doesn’t smell like Prada Luna Rossa Carbon at all; while they follow similar lines, they are very different. This Floating Around is sweeter at first. It would be great for the office in spring, fall, and maybe summer on cooler days. Lasting power is limited, around 5 hours. I’d grab it if I caught it on sale or in a bundle, otherwise I’ll pass.

  2. It’s a good fragrance, nothing extraordinary, but it smells nice. It’s fresh with a warm touch. Ideal for everyday wear without drawing attention.

Starts smelling of lavender and apple, something fresh, but after half an hour it has a halo reminiscent of Sauvage, obviously saving the differences. If it had better projection, it would be a solid choice; after that half-hour, it smells like a generic blue fragrance. Soft and a good option for the gym, post-shower, an intimate encounter, or if you don’t like to bother others or get bothered by strong scents. I see it as all-rounder but it lacks strength and personality. Lasting power on my skin is barely 4 hours. Only buy if it comes in a bundle or clearance.

I’m writing about this fragrance again and there’s nothing spectacular about it. It smells good but doesn’t stand out much. More for personal use than for good projection.

  6. If Boss Bottled and Sauvage had a son, it would be something like this. It smells of apple and ambroxan from the beginning until it fades; I think the lavender disappears quickly (better for me). It’s quite linear and simple, but very rich. I didn’t expect much from its longevity or projection, but it hasn’t disappointed me too much, surely because it’s summer in my city, but it lasts quite well. One of my favorite Zara scents from this past year.

Zara bundles again: the one that caught the most attention was the one I liked the least. I picked up Stormy Day. It smells of lavender and green apple, a mix we’ve seen a thousand times. The lavender feels a bit watery, it doesn’t dominate the apple, but it’s not as fresh and herbal as a decent lavender cologne. It has good projection but the longevity is weak. Stormy Day is superior in both aspects… I’d recommend it more than Floating.

The Sauvage scent starts to show up 30 minutes after application. The opening is a bit ‘meh’, but as it evolves, it improves significantly.
