I don’t find it similar to any Polo Red flanker; it’s the most generic thing you can slap on your face. I didn’t like it at all. No trace of coffee like in other versions, honestly, perfectly forgettable.
I don’t see any resemblance to any flanker of Polo Red; this is the most generic thing you can slap on your face. I didn’t like it at all. Not a trace of coffee like in the other versions, so to speak, perfectly forgettable.
This flanker follows in the footsteps of the success of Y EDP by Yves Saint Laurent, but to me it smells like generic apple. I don’t detect the blend of notes, just a freshly cut red apple. It might suit young people with a classic style to wear during the day, but it gets lost among many current fragrances. It’s an easily forgettable perfume; it lacks something to have its own personality.
A flanker that, in my humble opinion, follows the footsteps of the success of Y EDP by Yves Saint Laurent. What does it smell like? A generic apple scent. I don’t perceive the blend of notes. My nose detects a freshly cut red apple. It might appeal to young people with a classic style for daytime wear, but it’s a scent that gets lost among many current fragrances. An easily forgettable perfume. It lacks something to have its own personality.
I tried it yesterday; I asked for the Polo Red Intense (black bottle) and they handed me this one like I didn’t know it was new. Upon smelling it, I liked it instantly and told my wife it smells like freshly cut apples. I asked the salesperson if it had apple notes, and he hesitated, saying he’d call someone more expert. I told him not to worry, that it was fine. I read the reviews and he was right. I wouldn’t buy it; it reminded me of Hugo from 1995 (which I love), except they took the apple out to make this Polo. I recommend trying it on a tester strip, not for purchase.
I tried it casually, like so many other fragrances… It’s typical of today: a fruity citrus opening with a body of sweet woods and resins. Herbal notes, especially a spicy sage that contrasts with the balm and sweetness. Youthful, elegant, sensual cut with a warm spicy touch. Reminds me of coffee with resins and spices. Longevity and projection are moderate to weak. For what it costs… well, you know how it is.
Smells great and does its job: makes everyone smell good. Not my favorite in the line; I prefer the classic EDT, but it’s cute and pleasant. The only downside is the price, a bit high.
Smelling good is its strong suit, and everyone likes it. Not my favorite in the line; I prefer the classic EDT, but the scent is cute and pleasant. The only bad thing is the price, a bit high.
My experience: it smells great, with a strong blueberry note at the start that then gives way to the woods and lavender taking control. Projection and longevity: the first hour reaches about a meter, then drops to that personal bubble of 30-40 cm. By the third hour, it’s skin-to-skin, about 10-15 cm away, and by the fourth, it stays right there, lasting another 3 or 4 hours, totaling around 7 or 8 hours. Watch out: when you sweat, it releases great bursts that are noticeable even after 4 hours, so it’s best to wear it between 20 and 35 degrees. Price: high, at least here in Uruguay. Notes: Scent 9, Projection 6, Longevity 6, Price 5. Total 6.5.
I love it: the blueberry is the first thing you smell, rich and powerful, though it fades a bit later but stays there the whole time. Then the woods and lavender blend in, gaining strength gradually. It performs well for the first hour at a meter away, then settles into my personal bubble at about 30-40 cm. By the third hour, it’s skin-to-skin at 10-15 cm, and by the fourth, it clings to the skin and lasts another 3-4 hours, totaling around 7-8 hours. If you sweat, it releases incredible bursts even after the fourth hour, so it’s best used between 20 and 35 degrees, where it works best. High price, at least here in Uruguay. Scent 9, projection and trail 6, longevity 6, price 5. Total 6.5.
This perfume is ambiguous: some love it, while others find it overwhelming. I used it because it was a gift, but I wouldn’t buy it again. It looks elegant and has a deep sillage, but the sweetness is very potent, so don’t use it in the heat or in enclosed spaces.
I got the 125ml and a 40ml travel size. It’s ideal for daily routines, like going to uni; it’s not a loud perfume or one with massive sillage, but rather something that keeps you smelling good without being too noticeable. On my skin, it lasts 2 or 3 hours; after that, it’s only noticeable when greeting someone or standing very close. I recommend it for daily wear because everyone likes that sweetness and it doesn’t draw attention. Don’t wear it for parties or outdoor outings, because as soon as you apply it, people notice it, and definitely not in summer, as the sweetness will be annoying, unless it’s at night.
I got the 125ml and a 40ml travel size. It’s a youthful perfume, ideal for daily life, like for going to college. I’m not looking for anything loud or with a heavy trail, and this is perfect for smelling good without drawing too much attention. On my skin, it lasts about 2-3 hours; after that, it’s only noticeable when greeting someone or being very close. I recommend it for daily use; the sweetness appeals to everyone and doesn’t make you stand out too much. I don’t wear it for parties or outdoor outings because it’s hard to notice if you haven’t just applied it. Also not for summer, as the sweetness can be overwhelming, unless it’s at night.
It smells quite good, but the longevity is terrible. My advice is to filter by notes (blueberries, lavender, etc.) and buy something with better performance.
It’s a very pleasant and well-masculine scent, although it suffers from the short longevity common to the entire line; still, I forgive the flaw because I like it a lot and I’ve gotten many compliments. The best parts are the berries, musky woods, and a sweet base. It’s versatile, but I wouldn’t wear it on days with extreme temperatures. Rating: 8.0/10
The scent is very masculine and pleasant, but it lacks longevity, barely meeting the basics. Still, I forgive the flaw because I love it and have received many compliments. Notes of red fruits, musky woods, and a sweet base. It’s versatile, though not for extreme temperatures. Rating: 8.0/10
Sweet at first, then it softens and the Ralph essence comes through. Unfortunately, the longevity is poor, about two hours, after which it stays very close to the skin. I suggest applying it more on clothes to extend its life. Only share if you find it at a good price.
Same as the Red in EDT, just more concentrated.
Hi, I’ve had this perfume for years. I use it and recommend it for daily wear and for younger people, though it’s not the most budget-friendly option. I use it mostly in winter, although it works okay for other seasons too. I do think it’s pricey for what it offers, especially the longevity on skin (at least on me), which isn’t very long; on clothes, however, it lasts much longer. The sillage isn’t huge, but I’ve received some compliments, especially in the first hour. After about two hours, you either can’t smell it or have to be very close. I like the scent with prominent citrus notes at the start, followed by a warm spice blended with the freshness of lavender. I can’t pinpoint the base notes clearly, perhaps due to the short longevity, but I do detect those amber notes, even if they aren’t a standout feature. This is my opinion; I recommend everyone try it because it’s a good option for your daily routine, so you can draw your own conclusions, as tastes vary.
I’ve been using it for years; it’s ideal for daily life and young people, though it’s not cheap. I use it more in winter, though it works for everything. You can tell it’s expensive due to the short longevity on skin (lasts longer on clothes), the trail is weak, and it lasts about two hours. I like the citrus opening that transitions to a warm spicy note with a fresh lavender touch. I don’t clearly detect the base notes due to the short duration, but I do notice some amber notes. It’s a good option for daily life; try it and draw your own conclusions; tastes vary.
What won me over in the dry down was that berry scent. At the perfumerie, I tried all the Red variations, and this was the one that caught my attention the most. I also tried Polo Blue Parfum; I’ll definitely pick one up someday. I recommend it; it smells sweet but not cloying, and it smells like a man.
A super sophisticated vibe: starts with citrus and herbal notes featuring ginger, fresh and spicy. Then it moves to clean, dry, and elegant woods. As it dries down, it leaves a woody accord with a resinous sweetness that adds warmth, without any fruity or powdery elements. It feels mature and elegant, perfect for night dates, leaving the office, or heading to a chic bar. It has the vibe of Azzaro Wanted or Boss Bottled Infinite but is more sober and resinous. Rating: 8.5/10. Its elegant resinous sweetness makes it a solid choice for winter and special nights.
