This fragrance is beautiful, subtle, and delicate. A true olfactory delight. The opening is floral with rose, and the pear adds a fruity, fresh touch that isn’t cloying; for me, it’s a pleasant and wearable blend. Among my favorites from this private line, I have a mini and I enjoy it to the fullest. Occasion: whatever you choose; for me, it works for daily wear, casual dates, or special moments. The sillage is soft and the projection is more for intimate enjoyment. I even wear it to bed. It’s comfortable, feminine, and discreet. As for value, I’m not sure if I’d buy the full size. I feel it lacks longevity, which is a negative point for such an exclusive and expensive house. I’ll think about it… or look for a cheaper dupe.
It smells like you just splashed rose, pear, and peach compote all over your body. I love it. It’s sweet without being gourmand, with a tart twist where fresh rose takes the lead. Dry down is slightly powdery and resinous. It has good longevity, noticeable sillage, and is fairly linear. It’s a very well-executed fruity scent, fun and easy to wear; while it doesn’t innovate much, it’s elegant enough to stand out from a designer brand. You can tell the collection has quality. In spring, Belle de Jour and I would get along great… and here I finally understand the concept of a pear sorbet that I can’t explain but feels… very refreshing🍐🌹. After 3-4 hours, it turns into a lovely creamy rose body scent.
It’s strange that with that mix of pear compote and juicy peach, I smell banana and I love it. Then it dries down to linear pear and tart rose with powdery vanilla. It’s not sweet, doesn’t remind me of other recent fragrances with that combo, but feels more refreshing. The sillage is moderate and lasts 3-4 hours. It didn’t impress me; it lacks personality and enough performance to add to my collection. Scent 5.5/10, longevity 3.5/10, sillage 6.5/10, value 2/10, versatility 6/10, packaging 7/10. Would I buy it again? I haven’t bought it.
I have the large bottle and use it, but for me, the sillage and longevity don’t justify the price. It smells like sweet fruit, like peach, without being cloying, though the notes don’t evolve on my skin and it sticks to my clothes. Maybe only the wearer can really smell it. I won’t be buying it again; it didn’t win me over.
I can’t believe it, this perfume is no longer available… it was amazing, simply gorgeous.
