  1. I absolutely love it. At first, it smells like bitter almond mixed with cherry; I have to say, the scent really captivates me with wear. I like it so much, though I’m not sure others can even smell it—I think I’m the only one enjoying it. It has poor projection and longevity, and yet, I can’t stop using it. That said, it’s way too expensive for what it is. For me, it’s definitely feminine; I don’t find it unisex at all.

  3. Sakura is clean, elegant, and romantic; it smells like a bouquet of colorful flowers where the rose, cherry blossom, violet, and mimosa dance together. The violet and mimosa blend takes over as it dries down. It has a powdery touch, moderate sillage (you have to apply a good amount), and lasts about 10 hours. When dry, it reminds me of Zara’s Boldly Seoul (also violet and mimosa), but Zara’s is sweeter and rougher. I use a mini and am considering buying the bottle, though I’m held back by the fact that at this exclusive Dior line price, it looks a bit simple. Scent 7/10, Longevity 10/10, Sillage 6.5/10, Value 5/10, Versatility 8/10, Packaging 7/10. Would I buy it again? I didn’t end up buying it.

What a floral bouquet! I’ve detected jasmine, rose, cherry blossom, and violet in its evolution. The white florals are the most intense, combined with green aquatic notes that give the sensation of being next to a pond or fountain in the garden. The projection is medium, but the longevity is long.

  5. Smells good, but it barely leaves a trail—you have to press your nose against your skin to catch it. Honestly, in my opinion, it’s not worth it because it’s outrageously expensive and you have to apply a ton of it. I bought it expecting a clean, sensual scent, but it just doesn’t come across, so paying gold just to not smell… well, that’s a no. I’ve actually switched to other perfumes that last longer and project better.

  6. It smells good, but it barely leaves a trail; you have to put your nose right next to it to notice it. In my opinion, it’s not worth it because it’s extremely expensive and you have to apply a lot. I bought it thinking it would smell clean and sensual, but that doesn’t come across. It’s gold-standard pricing for smelling like nothing, so I use others that leave more of a trail.

Sakura is a pink and white floral: fresh, light, and sweet. I detect soft jasmine, delicate cherry blossom, and brushstrokes of rose and violet. It has a musky and powdery touch. It transports me to a crystal-clear stream with a spring breeze moving the cherry trees and petals floating on the water with dew, and from afar, the song of the birds. It’s not complex or unique, but it’s so pleasant and relaxing. It’s very natural, clean, fresh, feminine, and balanced; it reminds me of my lotions because I’m a cherry blossom fanatic. Moderate longevity, low sillage (noticeable if they get close but not annoying), ideal for spring and summer.

I’ve seen very little of this fragrance, and as soon as I found out it existed, I knew I needed it. It’s clean, floral, and fresh; the rose, violet, and Japanese cherry blossom stand out. Although it’s not a beast in terms of sillage, its longevity on skin and clothes is amazing. The quality of the ingredients is extremely high. Recommended for spring/summer daytime, ideal for going out with friends or important events. As of today, it’s not common to see it because it seems like it’s no longer in the Dior exclusive line, so if you see it, don’t hesitate to buy it or at least try it.

I adored this fragrance when they offered me to test the lines at Palacio de Hierro in Polanco. Immediately I knew which perfume it reminded me of; obviously, Zara’s Boldly Seoul is more contemporary, but its longevity is superior to that of Dior’s Sakura.
