Zafar by Omanluxury is an oriental woody fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2022, this composition is signed by perfumer Pierre-Constantin Guéros. Its top notes unfold a vibrant blend of rose, apple, bergamot, grapefruit, and pink pepper. The heart reveals spiritual and floral elegance through frankincense, orange blossom, jasmine, cinnamon, iris root, and valley lily. To close, the base notes offer a warm and persistent foundation with oud wood, musk, amber, vanilla, sandalwood, patchouli, moss, vetiver, and tonka bean.

I tried a decant and was impressed: very tasty aroma with a huge sillage. Excellent quality; it’s a beast that lasts days on clothes. Delicious and, in my opinion, unisex and feminine.
It’s a love-hate relationship, in short, not an easy scent. The opening is challenging—a raw oud you can feel but isn’t overpowering. It stays with you throughout the evolution and doesn’t generate compliments. I don’t recommend blind-buying it; try a decant first.
I use it more and more. It’s a pleasant, wearable oud—sweet with floral and creamy notes without being cloying, sometimes velvety. Oman Luxury’s blend is top-notch. It performs well; it’s not overwhelming or annoying indoors; it’s noticeable but subtle, no shouting. That’s a plus because sometimes these scents scare off the uninitiated. Surprisingly, it’s now one of my favorites for the office. When it fades, it leaves a soft, delicate trail on the skin—wonderful.
