The citrus notes fade quickly to give way to a potent green of gooseberry, soon overshadowed by an unheralded fig that becomes the star. It closes with sandalwood, soft cinnamon, incense, and cedar. It’s elegant, versatile, and top-tier quality. Fresh for all year except winter, with beastly performance lasting over 8 hours. More than travel, it’s a journey in itself.

Forget the opening, you know what it’s about: it’s the most intense green I’ve ever smelled. Very linear, no surprises. You can detect fig, gooseberry leaf, a hint of mint, a touch of pepper, ethereal incense, and a woody base. Saffron and cinnamon are diffuse spices. It smells like freshly cut grass left in the sun, or bales of hay from Northern Spain concentrated, as if you were eating green figs. It projects like a beast with just three sprays in the heat, with an imposing trail that lasts hours and sticks to the skin all day, even though my skin devours perfumes. My favorite for summer, hot springs, and luminous autumns. I started with a gifted sample and now I own the 100ml bottle; it’s a must-have.
