  • I tried this fragrance in an 8ml decant thanks to a specialized niche subscription service (Yuniqu), as I wouldn’t have invested given the price otherwise. Addictive Vibration is, as its name suggests, quite addictive. The day I applied it, I couldn’t stop smelling my wrist. It’s an opulent, almost heavy gourmand if overapplied, better suited for winter. In summer, one spray on each wrist is enough, especially on a cool day. Apple and honey dominate, with some white flowers, especially orange blossom, but it’s mostly sweet. Very good longevity, 10-12 hours, though after the first 4-5 it becomes more subtle. Due to its depth, I’ll use it more for night. It wasn’t bad as a first introduction to niche. Although they have a reputation for being overrated, this one particularly delighted me and met my expectations. I hope to try more in the coming months to form a complete opinion on the different houses in the sector. Scent 9/10 Longevity 8/10 Sillage 8/10 Value 4/10 Versatility 6/10 Packaging 8/10 Would I buy again? Maybe, although the full bottle price would hold me back.

  • At first, it has the Alien vibe, but that’s where the similarity ends. Addictive Vibration presents itself as darker, more sinister, and tremendously enigmatic. It’s spectacular and very feminine! In my opinion, INITIO is one of the best niche houses I’ve encountered, very oriented toward men, and for me, I only identify with the white line (Hedonist), but if I were a man, I’d slowly start exploring the whole range.

What sorcery is this? For me, it’s one of the best fragrances I’ve ever tried. I fell in love at first sniff. It’s like a more sophisticated, sensual upgrade of Alien. Smells like jasmine with a honey note that isn’t cloying at all. Queen of compliments. Too bad on my skin (and happens with almost all Initio scents) it doesn’t last as long as I’d like, only about 3-4 hours. But it’s worth it for the incredible scent.

But what is this magic? For me, it’s one of the best I’ve ever smelled. I fell in love at first sniff. It’s like a cousin of Alien, but improved, more sophisticated, and sensual. It smells of jasmine with a honey note that isn’t cloying. A queen of compliments. Unfortunately, on me (and happens with almost all of INITIO’s scents), it doesn’t last as long as I’d like. I get about 3-4 hours. But it’s worth it for the incredible aroma.

  • Oh, what a delicious scent. It feels like a red berry tincture (which isn’t listed), heavy yet fresh, edible (or drinkable, like a juice), coquettish and nocturnal. I’m surprised they consider it feminine (maybe because of the flowers and sweetness), but it’s 100% unisex; everyone wins here.

  • Addictive Vibration is INITIO’s hidden gem, a fragrance that’s unfortunately often eclipsed by the house’s other hits, but it definitely deserves recognition. Its floral-vanilla profile captivates everyone. The combination of vanilla orchid, orange blossom, and apple, bathed in a wonderful honey note, creates a magical work that transports you to a paradise. Excellent performance, and while it’s pricey, I think it’s one of those fragrances that truly lives up to the cost. I recommend trying it and being pleasantly surprised by this masterpiece.

I bought the discovery sets for INITIO’s three main collections. Two stood out above the rest: Side Effect and this one, Addictive Vibration. They shipped them to my house (and three others, lol). For me, this one shined brighter than the rest. And wow, they’re all amazing… so what does it smell like? It’s carnal, sexual, beastly… a true seduction weapon. Very floral, dark, and sweet. I get the Alien connection; it follows the same vibe but with many nuances. If you like Alien, you’ll love this; if not, you might too. Plus, the development is better than Side Effect, Musk Therapy, and almost everything else I have from Initio. It lasts longer and projects better.
