Good morning, afternoon, or night. PRE-READING: if you want to save time, the summary: great scent, one of the best I’ve tried! Projection and performance are just right, not beast mode but noticeable, leaving a trail up to a meter. Don’t buy blindly; I haven’t seen anyone who dislikes it, but perhaps due to the projection, many won’t want it. Reasonable price for what it offers. DEVELOPMENT: SCENT: one of the best I’ve heard; those slightly “alien” green notes give a robust opening (especially on clothes), stabilizing after 15 minutes, just right for heading out. The combination works, the development is a delight, even skin-close. PROJECTION: A delight for winter, usable in summer too. With 2-3 sprays, it lasts 6 hours indoors; noticeable on skin for 3 hours, on clothes 8 or more. Not brutal, medium trail, watch out for legal batches because cheap copies are everywhere. Satisfying, though not spectacular. VERSATILITY: Very versatile, good for the office or formal events, suits well, though to stand out you have to over-apply. With 5-6 sprays on clothes, it lasts hours. Be careful not to spray too much on clothes; if you overdo it, it becomes oppressive. UNISEX: No!, totally masculine. Debatable because they say there’s no gender, but I don’t see any woman using it here. BLIND BUY: Maybe, better to buy a decant first to test in different climates. The projection is decent but not extensive, which discourages buying the bottle, but in my opinion, it should be in a fresh collection. PRICE: Between €120-138 for 100ml, sometimes on offer at €100, hard to find good prices here compared to Europe, but worth it. Wish it cost less. LOCATIONS: wherever you feel like it, works well everywhere. INGREDIENTS: very good, you can tell the quality from opening the box. The big downside is the projection; wish it improved in some batch, because if it projected like Red Tobacco, it would be incredible! FEMALE OPINION: I’ve never received a negative comment; everyone likes it and compliments don’t fail, in the office it’s the one that generates the most compliments along with Bvlgari Men in Black. Pity that neither projects as they should. FINAL NOTES: for those who say it’s weak, check those batches carefully. For me, better than the hyped Cedrat Boise, it flies off the shelf! Rating: 9.5/10.

There are notes we associate with perfumes we reject, like violet and Fahrenheit, and that’s why people don’t give Wind Wood a chance. Before starting, know that that resemblance isn’t real. Wind Wood isn’t the same as Fahrenheit, although they have a kinship due to affinity; the Mancera version is rounder, less strident, fresher, and more pleasant. It’s a modern version, fresher and woodier, a distant relative, like those second cousins you know exist but haven’t seen. It’s green, aromatic, and fresh. The opening combines these nuances; the green notes bring me dried herbs from the margins of forest paths. It’s not dark, it’s luminous and fresh; a note helps, one that seems more like the aroma of an orange peel or the leaves left on the stem when removed. This part might not be pleasant, but it evolves by blending with the predominant violet, which here feels fresh, with its characteristic sweetness but nothing like the tar found in others; it’s greener, androgynous, wild, even metallic, and less intrusive. The evolution continues, the most enjoyable phase: cedar and leather appear, giving it character, making it dry, woody, and accorded without losing the comforting, powdery air the violet is gaining. In my opinion, all Mancera perfumes share a common base, something like Chanel’s aldehydes; here it’s a perceptible creamy, spicy musk note at the end, combining with the powdery, dry, and accorded nuances until it disappears skin-close. Personally, it’s the perfume I like most from the French house so far. It’s masculine, very versatile, and multi-purpose: character for standout moments, but fresh and aromatic for casual wear in warm climates. My sample is from last year, and although it seems Mancera tweaked things where they shouldn’t have, the performance is acceptable and the scent is very well achieved. The price is high, perhaps the only downside along with the performance, as you can always ask for more at those prices. Although it won’t please everyone, it’s a delicate and well-constructed perfume that I hope to enjoy more often.

What happens is that when people buy deals on websites, thinking they’re getting a bargain, they end up with fakes or defective batches and then review based on that. If it’s inexplicable, how can you say it has no performance? If they’re crying their eyes out, for the love of God. It’s a perfume you can’t apply to your chest or under your neck, or you’ll suffocate. It’s a bomb that requires caution, and they say it doesn’t last half an hour… It’s undeniably masculine, sometimes too much for my taste, with that patchouli on the border of tolerable and a deep, enchanting violet, like Fahrenheit but loaded with steroids. You can really smell the moss, leather, and vetiver; it’s an amber fragrance on all sides. It doesn’t quite reach old barber shop territory; it leans more toward wood and doesn’t really evoke a forest. It’s a very rich scent, but limited by its power and exaggerated masculinity. For me, it’s not for daytime because it can be overwhelming, but for night or a date, you won’t have competition with this work of art. That said, when you spend your hard-earned money on something of such quality, buy from an authorized retailer and don’t gamble, because otherwise, the tears will come.

From Mancera’s Sensual White collection, it’s the best! I don’t get the hype for Cedrat Boise; it’s not bad, but there are better ones that last longer. This beauty tops them all: a fresh opening of clean woods with citrus, leather, and amber that blend into a gorgeous, very friendly base. Versatile? Yes, for any occasion, especially daytime. I guarantee it will make a great impression, projecting a sophisticated and professional image, showing you know what you want, with sensuality, cleanliness, and neatness. It lasts about 6-7 hours, projecting 2-3 inches. When you walk by, you’ll leave an enchanting trail without going unnoticed. It transports me to Jasmund National Park in Germany with Baltic air. I wish it stayed hidden on the shelves so Cedrat Boise, Instant Crush, Hindu Kush, and Red Tobacco can keep their hype. Final note: it doesn’t resemble Fahrenheit Aqua; maybe it has some resemblance to Givenchy’s Gentlemen Only. Ἄνουβις Balsamic.

My love for perfumery started with Dior Fahrenheit; when my dad wore it, I was impressed by its masculinity. From a young age, I developed an affection for it, then bought it for myself, and it remains my favorite for sentimental reasons. Note: it’s not a clone; they just share notes and give off the sensation of a leather jacket soaked in gasoline, à la Dior, but modern and elegant, less sharp and suffocating. So much so that a woman can wear it perfectly. For me, it’s a 10/10. It lasts over 7 hours, has a wide trail, and has earned compliments like ‘that smells so good.’ Although it’s more wearable than Fahrenheit, it’s not as versatile; it’s very elegant, so I’d reserve it for special occasions and a great outfit.

Woody, green, and a touch of leather—sublime. I don’t get why people always associate violet with Fahrenheit; Wind Wood is something else entirely. It lasts about 14 hours; along with Layton, it’s the longest-lasting in my collection. Perfect for spring and cool days. If you’re looking for compliments, this is more about personal satisfaction, though today a girl at a restaurant asked what I was wearing and said it smelled great. Unusual aromas. I’d give it 9/10.

At first, I didn’t like it much, but in the end, it won my heart. It’s like a twisted fougère; I don’t see any relation to Fahrenheit. It’s green, woody, with a touch of talc and mossy; the violet is noticeable. The opening is sharp, but the dry down is rich, very Mancera-style. It’s synthetic but very well crafted. It works perfectly for intermediate stages and is versatile. Great performance, excellent work by the house.

As many say, it’s a good perfume, ideal for spring and maybe autumn, though I think there are better options for that second season. It didn’t blow my mind immediately, but it’s grown on me, and I like it enough not to sell it (not even to my wife). Best for those over 30, not because young people can’t wear it, but because I don’t think they’d be interested. Good longevity and projection, though not a beast mode.

I’m not a reviewer, but that scent is exquisite, one of the few that makes my mouth water. When I wear it, I’m transported to a forest after the rain, with droplets on pine needles, the smell of pine and wet woods mixed with damp grass, accompanied by a cold air on my face. Good longevity, excellent projection, rich scent, low hype. A hidden treasure in the middle of the forest.

A violet fragrance that’s incredibly fresh. At first, that violet note seemed a bit strange to me, but over time it completely won me over. It reminds me of Poker Face by Ted Lapidus, though I’d need to test them side by side to confirm the nuances. Solid performance, for sure.

It’s super good. I don’t know why no one has mentioned its huge similarity to the Aoud Violet from the same house!!!
