  • Inspired by Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille, though slightly more masculine. It has less sweet vanilla and a more perceptible tobacco. The opening is intense, and although it’s not declared, you can tell spices accompany the ginger. Then the ginger softens and gives way to a soft, full-bodied pipe tobacco. The vanilla is always present, accompanied by tonka bean, wrapping and rounding the blend without being cloying, touching on gourmand. Low-cost perfume with big aspirations, ideal for autumn when the cold calls for deep, sweet scents. The projection isn’t very high (not more than an arm’s length), though the trail is more noticeable. Longevity is easily around 6 hours, with about 2 hours left on skin. Ideal for dates and night outings, though it wouldn’t be out of place in daily use unless in enclosed offices.

  • Excellent fragrance! It starts smoky, like a rich barbecue… this phase lasts 25-30 minutes and I love it, even though opinions are divided. Then it settles, the smokiness disappears, and it smells like perfume drying out, similar to Bvlgari Man in Black, with vanilla and a balsamic, warm aroma. The best part? The longevity and projection: with 5 sprays, it projects well for 1-2 hours and then keeps throwing off bursts until the 8-hour mark. Unbeatable value for money. The only downside is it’s not for daily use; it’s exquisite but gets boring easily, so I recommend using it occasionally, and the colder it is, the better.

Walking through a shopping plaza, an employee told me it was one of the newest and handed me a sample. My first impression was opening my eyes wide and wanting to smell it again immediately. I didn’t know what it smelled like at first, but it seemed unique, warm, sweet, robust, and present. I bought it right away (350 Mexican pesos). After wearing it for several days, it was a good purchase; there’s no complaint regarding the value-to-price ratio. A critique for those complaining: what did they expect for 11 euros? What are they doing buying knockoffs when they could spend 200 dollars on things that are worth it? Obviously, I’ve never smelled the original Tobacco Vanille, only Spicebomb by chance, but it has its own character and very singular presence. My girlfriend loved it when she smelled it and asked how much I spent; to her surprise (and mine), she thinks it smells much more expensive. Safe bet. Due to its low cost and ease of finding it, we might smell it a lot in the coming cold months, but I don’t mind. Well done, Zara. You got another 9/10 under my judgment.

  • A delight, ideal for autumn and winter; I wear it daily at the office. The downside is that I feel it doesn’t last long on my skin, but for the price, it’s worth it. I got it for 209 Mexican pesos (approx. 10 dollars) on sale.

  • I bought it blind and it was a total disappointment… I didn’t like it at all; there’s nothing to it. It smells old; I absolutely do not recommend it.

  • I love it! I bought it for my partner blind because they said it resembles Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille. What a hit, it’s a total fragrance bomb! I adore it. It smells sweet with that distinct tobacco note very present. It’s rich, lingers in the room, and has acceptable longevity on skin for its price. If you like sweet scents, don’t hesitate. It doesn’t smell synthetic or artificial; I encourage you to try it.

I bought it today at Zara and I hate it. It has an ingredient that gives me nausea and isn’t comfortable or pleasant. It smells very similar to Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille, but with synthetic and piercing notes. Mixing vanilla, tobacco, saffron, and ginger is an explosion I can’t stand. The scent is sharp and strong, lasts a long time, and sticks to skin and clothes, almost in beast mode.

Aside from the official notes, the box says it contains cilantro, ginger, Balkan tobacco, saffron, vanilla, tonka, and woods. They claim it’s Zara’s new hit and that it doesn’t smell synthetic, but to me, it does, and honestly, it’s normal for the price. I didn’t like it. The opening is rich and spicy, but it lasts a minute before smelling like burnt rubber for three hours. Then a chemical, artificial vanilla appears that doesn’t get rid of that rubbery scent. It reminds me of Bvlgari Man in Black but worse, with low-quality vanilla and a base that makes me wrinkle my nose. It ends with diluted vanilla and wood, but always with that burning smell that makes me run to clean myself. The issue isn’t the price (11 euros is cheap) or that it’s artificial; it’s that annoying smell that lingers throughout the fragrance. I don’t see it as unisex, but rather masculine. If you like it on your skin, congratulations, it will last longer than others, but be careful not to overdo it. I confirm that, with few exceptions, Zara’s men’s perfumes aren’t for me. Bye.

  • I love it: it’s sexy, interesting, and has a refined warmth, perfect for the night or cold climates. It’s elegant and seductive, ideal for dates. To me, it has a fascinating personality, and I want it in my closet all the time. Rating 8.0. The projection is good for the first hour, then drops to just two hours. Longevity reaches 5 hours. Definitely recommended.

  • For cold weather, this is the one. The spicy opening lasts about half an hour before shifting to chocolate and florals with a tobacco leaf nuance, though it doesn’t smell like actual tobacco or pure vanilla. On skin, it lasts 9 hours, and on clothes, easily over 20. At 350 pesos, every penny is worth it. It has no age limit, but I recommend it for those 25 and up. Despite the divided opinions, you’ll fall in love with it over time.

  • I bought this fragrance and honestly, I have no idea why I did. I had a clone from Esenzia or something similar, which was much more potent than this; the vanilla dry down lasted days in the room because once I tried it, I never sprayed it again, and it ended up just being a room freshener. The first day it arrived, plain and unremarkable, two sprays and that was it; it got relegated. Until a few days ago when I started spraying it at night when I go to watch a movie, and I have to say I’m finally getting used to it, because now I actually like it and feel comfortable wearing it. And things of life, the other day I had sprayed Ajmal Silver Shade earlier, which is a clone of Creed, and mixing the two, I have to say I loved the scent that came through occasionally a few hours later.

  • What a delight! That’s all I need to say. I should add that within the Zara collection, it ranks second only to Rich Warm Addictive, but it’s very good. It projects little but lasts over 9 hours; it’s for winter and cold autumn days. It’s no longer on the Zara website.

  • I’m on my second bottle; I bought it in summer blindly, carried away by the hype from Carlos. It was hard to find because it was already scarce in stores by July. I bought it, opened it in the car, sprayed it, and fell in love. Is that ‘only for cold weather’ thing a joke? I used it in summer, I used it in winter, day and night; it works whenever you want, though those are just opinions. I’m one of those who thinks Dior Homme Parfum isn’t just for suits, just like ages, but as I said, those are ways of looking at things. Performance can vary with temperature, of course, but the scent doesn’t change, as long as you have a calm trigger use even with more heat. What I’m getting at: Zara and their habit of declaring 3 notes on the website, then 20 more on the box: this is clear, it’s tobacco with vanilla, but tobacco predominates. Plus, when you smell it, it’s pipe tobacco; pipe tobacco was always in my house, and Warm Black smells like that, plus it lasts and projects. I have other Zara items with huge hype, like the Tobacco Collection, Gourmand Leather, etc., etc., and I’m not shaking when I say this is the best of Zara.

I can summarize this fragrance as: spices, vanilla, and tobacco. We have a powerful opening of warm spices, very slightly mentholated, like cloves, though I think it’s the mix of tobacco and cypriol that gives this peculiar property, creating a herbal sensation, just like walking into a medicinal herb shop. After a few minutes, the vanilla takes over, but it’s not the typical synthetic car air freshener style; it’s black vanilla bean, dry and slightly salty, which becomes more intense over time, and with it comes a honey note that sweetens the composition until now herbal and almost bitter. Finally, in the late dry down at 8 hours, it leaves a chocolate and vanilla scent. On my skin, total longevity was 12+ hours and it projects well for the first 3 hours. I don’t know how similar it is to Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille, but it’s a good fragrance; however, it wasn’t the scent I imagined before buying it blindly.

  • To me, this fragrance has two parts. The first: the first 4 or 5 hours where only incense is noticeable, very potent and quite rough. It smells like a literal incense burner, but much more invasive and piercing. The second: the dry down is very good, highlighted by a very sweet vanilla. Conclusion: In my opinion, it tries to imitate Musc Ravageur but with one-tenth of the quality. I bought it blindly and honestly, I don’t recommend it at all, since in my view only the final phase is enjoyable. The first hours are quite unpleasant for my nose. The longevity and sillage are very good, which in this case is counterproductive. 3/10.

  • typpeorange835

I bought it blindly based on its reputation, but… it’s the only fragrance I’ve ever bought that I absolutely hated. It gives me nausea and headaches; it’s a mix of very strong, penetrating scents. Also, I don’t detect anything masculine; I still don’t understand how people can enjoy this.

  • eliezerv63

It smells like tobacco with vanilla; it’s the same blend as Zara’s Warm Black. When I smell it, I imagine a mature man, with a thick beard and well-dressed in a suit, in cool or cold weather. It’s for an alpha male, a silverback, 30 years and up; even a 100-year-old could wear it. They say it’s unisex, but honestly, I can’t picture a woman wearing this scent; it would look like she ran out of perfumes and grabbed her husband’s bottle to spray on herself. For women, there are plenty of options to smell rich, sexy, and feminine. Cheers.

  • It’s a pleasant, vanilla and amber scent without being cloying. Personally, I don’t notice the tobacco or smoky notes others mention, but it’s still very good. Ideal for a date or a plan to stay home and watch a movie in winter, wrapped up in a blanket to stay warm from the cold—it’s excellent. Plus, women love it. In my case, it was a gift from my sister because she loved it so much that my wife was so fascinated she ended up buying her own bottle.

At first, I thought it smelled like church incense and found it horrible—nothing youthful, only for very specific tastes; I tried it on people of all ages and no one liked it. But revisiting it months later with a more refined sense of smell, I totally recommend it now: it radiates presence, authority, and masculinity. It’s not a generic scent; it’s interesting, mysterious, and warm. It’s the best Zara has right now, since their other perfumes are very mainstream; this one stands out with a rich aroma, excellent longevity, and lots of compliments, even though that’s not its strongest point.

  • Reading the reviews, I saw it was trendy and noticeable; I didn’t know that and was surprised. It’s not a mainstream scent that wins over people immediately, but it was the one that attracted me most from Zara after testing ten current perfumes. It has a pleasant, sweet, and mysterious aroma. I recognize the ginger and spice at the start, then it turns into pipe tobacco, honey, milk, and toasted wood. The warmth stands out. Its weak point is a slight synthetic touch. It has good longevity and sillage. It’s sober and masculine, best for those over 25. It works better in cool climates, day or night. It’s noble, versatile, and in my case, a personal satisfaction and compliment perfume.

  • Giorgiowiifox

I bought it blind based on positive comments. Upon application, it was a powerful scent with great projection and longevity, but it bothered me. It’s not a scent I can wear, not even for special occasions; I’d be annoyed smelling like that. For its price, it has excellent longevity and sillage, but the aroma just didn’t work for me. They say it becomes more palatable after hours, but it doesn’t become fully pleasant. I don’t recommend buying it blind; it’s not for everyone. Use it with caution and don’t over-spray, because in terms of sillage and longevity, it’s a real beast.

  • Just when I wasn’t expecting it, Zara surprised me. I started my perfume journey with their scents but stopped buying them due to longevity. After Vibrant Leather disappointed me, I wasn’t buying them anymore, but my girlfriend wanted to gift something affordable to a friend. I tried Warm Black and wow, I loved it. I’m into woody, spicy, and sweet perfumes; here, the sweetness feels present without being cloying. I liked it so much I bought the pack with Navy Black (I didn’t like that one, it’ll be a gift). Warm Black is worth it and reminds me of Spicenbomb Extreme (though it’s not the same).

  • Upon trying it, I felt a blend of wood, tobacco, vanilla, and lots of eugenol (clove). It took me a while to understand the mix, but it’s complex and I liked it. It’s not for blind buying; the clove can be hard to balance with tobacco and vanilla. To me, it’s better than the original Tom Ford because the clove tames the sweetness. It’s discreet, lasts long on the skin without being suffocating.

IT DOESN’T SMELL LIKE TOM FORD’S TOBACCO VANILLE! Comparing them is like comparing a VW to an Audi just because they both have four wheels: nothing alike. Tobacco Vanille is excellent; Warm Black doesn’t have it. This Zara one is fine on its own and has earned me some compliments, though some girls said it smells feminine and would be better as a gift. It’s a unisex scent leaning heavily feminine. Don’t buy it if you’re looking for a Tobacco Vanille substitute or if you’re a straight-up alpha male.

  • Sergiootero

I love this perfume. I think its sillage and longevity are moderate, but I have the feeling my nose filters it out over time. Even though I don’t perceive it much myself, people have told me it smells great. I wear it daily in winter and the cost is very economical.

  • This is a work of art. Many people look down on it because it’s from Zara and cheap, but it’s a beast. If you swapped the label for a niche brand, perfumeries would price it at $400. What more could you want? It has brutal sillage and projection. Ridiculous price and a compliment machine.

  • scenthusiast

I read many reviews and I don’t understand how anyone can like it. I got it for Christmas and from the first spray, it felt synthetic, like burnt plastic and cat urine (sounds exaggerated, but that’s what it is). Only at the very end does it remind me of Tobacco Vanille, but the suffering through the first two-thirds isn’t worth it. Even at Zara, there are better options. For me, it was a huge no.

  • Carlos062773

I tried it on my arm at Zara: strong, spicy opening, a bit unpleasant. My daughter said it smelled like an old church. After half an hour, it turns into vanilla with oud, very rich and similar to Benetton’s Colors Man Black. I prefer the Benetton one. I’d use it in cool weather (10-25 degrees) for the office or semi-formal outings. It’s for personal enjoyment; I don’t think it will get many compliments.

  • The first time I smelled it, I didn’t like it, but I applied it several more times until I understood it. The opening is strong and sometimes off-putting to those around you when you walk out, but once it dries down, the same people are full of compliments. It’s rich, sweet, and very long-lasting on skin, even more so on clothes; it’s still there the next day, softer but present. One of my favorites for cold weather, especially since in Mexico the dates to wear it are approaching.

  • I bought it blind, trusting its predecessor, but it was a mistake. The opening is chaotic and harsh, likely due to the ginger, lasting until an hour in. Then the sweetness takes over and becomes as pleasant as the previous version. Performance is good, but since it’s a peculiar scent, I don’t recommend buying it blind. That said, the value is incredible and it’s worth it if you like sweet perfumes with a unique twist.

  • carloslainezd

As synthetic as it gets. If you want elegant vanilla, go for Tom Ford Noir Extreme or Tobacco Vanille instead.

  • Something weird happens with this fragrance. If I smell it freshly applied close to skin or paper, it seems harsh and synthetic until it dries down. BUT, once I put it on my neck and clothes to go out, it smells very pleasant. In short: fresh and close, it’s bad; from a distance (on the neck), it’s very good.

  • molinaperfume

Very particular. Saffron with vanilla. It’s like smelling burnt custard. Different, for sure.

  • Tuberiasexidecolorblanco

In these weeks, I tested 25-30 Zara fragrances, and this is the one with the best projection and longevity. At first, it turned me off; it smelled like wet cardboard. But when I got home, bursts of a scent I loved started hitting me and wouldn’t stop all afternoon. That was it. Don’t buy blindly; I don’t think it will be pleasant for everyone, but it doesn’t have to be. It smells like a family coat on Christmas, church incense, heavy and sweet winter grocery store scents, a wooden house with a fireplace, reading an old book in a vintage shop. Ironically, I was looking for incense and warmth, and this is probably the best quality-to-price. Without seeing the bottle, I’d say it smells three or four times its price.

  • Jorge Milán

Smells like vanilla custard with incense. Lasts a long time on me and projects great. I’ve gotten so many compliments, and the quality-to-price ratio is unbeatable.

  • Mario_esg

Not for everyone, don’t buy blindly because it can smell very cloying, but if you like those kinds of scents, you’ll love it. It lasts well and the scent is rich; although synthetic, it’s hard to compare it to Spicebomb or Tobacco Vanille in terms of ingredient quality, but it does have a similar vibe.

  • Gatitomalbado

I’m a woman and I’ve been wearing this like crazy since October. I know it’s marketed as a men’s scent and I’d love to see a man in it, but it doesn’t stop me from wearing it myself in the cold. I love the spices (saffron, ginger) with a touch of clove, cardamom, and cinnamon. The vanilla isn’t too pastry-like, and the church incense calms the heat. On my skin, it smells like black tea, like a spicy and sweet masala chai in a cozy café. Reminds me of Herod by Parfums de Marly and Spicebomb Infrared, but it’s drier and less invasive. Presentation: 6/10 (works but it’s standard). Longevity: 8/10 (over 8 hours). Sillage: 5/10 (intimate, which is better). Originality: 8/10 (great for Zara and the price). Versatility: 4/10 (cold weather only, suffocating in summer). Season: fall/winter. Taste: 9/10. Would I buy it again?: yes.

  • Very pleasant fragrance with a rich, well-executed vanilla. Smells similar to Mancera’s Aoud Vanilla. Sweet and vanilla-forward, 100% recommended.

  • Brutal fragrance, although it’s already discontinued. It goes beyond a Tobacco Vanille clone: opens with saffron, ginger, and a sweet vanilla, perfect for any time of day. I just wish Zara would bring it back because it’s the best one I’ve ever tried.
