Ugh, Zara has improved its quality and the Black collection (still need to try Agate). Similar to Bleu de Chanel with a citrus opening, elegant, slightly sweet but not cloying. Great for dates, work, or casual meetings. Its enemy is heat and sweat. On my skin, it lasts 4 hours, yes, only 4, while others bravely make it to 5 or even 2. Longevity: 7, Projection: 8, Sillage: 8, Value: 10. Final rating: 8.25. Good fragrance, worth a try.
Ugh, Zara has stepped up its game with quality and the Black collection (still need to try Agate). Smells like Bleu de Chanel with a citrus twist—elegant and sweet without being cloying. Perfect for dates, work, or casual meetings. Its Achilles’ heel is heat and sweat. On my skin, it lasts about 4 hours, which is less than other scents that manage 5 or even 2. Longevity: 7, Projection: 8, Sillage: 8, Value: 10. Rating: 8.25. Good fragrance, worth a try.
It reminds me more of Sauvage EDT than Bleu. Especially in the heart and initial dry-down, where it gets spicy and ambroxan-heavy, which I don’t like. At the start and end, it’s more sterile; a good option for daily wear, but not for me.
I already own Dylan Blue and Bleu de Chanel, and this leans more toward Dylan but muuuch softer—nothing like the original. Not bad, though.
I own Dylan Blue and Bleu de Chanel. This smells more like Dylan but very soft, nothing like the original. It’s not bad.
Of all the Zara scents I own, this is the worst performer: 3 hours and it’s gone, even from clothes. What a pity because it doesn’t smell bad. Nothing like Bleu or Sauvage, maybe a bit like Dylan Blue due to the grapefruit, but that’s about it.
If it’s true that it reminds you of Bleu de Chanel Eau de Toilette! But similarity? NO! At best an 88% match in scent, Zara Navy Black can resemble it. But Bleu de Chanel feels way higher quality, YET for the very affordable price of this Navy Black from Zara! Totally worth it if you don’t like spending a lot. Because Bleu de Chanel costs a fortune for 100ml/3.4oz—around $150! So you tell me. BLEU DE CHANEL is for those who love top quality and don’t mind splurging on a single perfume. Cheers!
It definitely smells like Bleu de Chanel EDT! But smelling similar is one thing. It’s 80% of the aroma, but Bleu feels much more expensive. However, given the rock-bottom price of this Zara Navy Black, it’s a great deal if you don’t want to spend a fortune. Bleu costs around $150 for a 100ml bottle. You decide: do you want quality or price? Navy Black is for those who don’t mind spending a little less. Cheers!
Smells generic; reminds me of Versace Dylan Blue (which isn’t exactly groundbreaking). It’s not spectacular, but it gets the job done. It’s pleasant, easy to wear, and everyone likes it. Although it’s linear, it stands out for its citrus-sweet opening with aquatic and violet notes. It has moderate presence, lasts a few hours, and projects well with 10 sprays. Its strength is being accessible, versatile, youthful, and summer-appropriate. It’s a mainstream scent that works anywhere. Recommended for young people.
Navy Black by Zara (2020): Citrus opening, slightly sweet without being cloying, and a smoky base that adds elegance. Reminded me of Bleu de Chanel EDT, but with a sweet, sticky touch like Invictus. It’s very similar and might generate hype, but the performance is poor: about 3 hours of longevity and 1 hour of projection. Would I recommend it? Yes and no. Yes because it smells good, no because you’d have to constantly reapply it.
The scent is top-notch for the price, but the longevity is ridiculous.
Fresh and simple, ideal for hot weather. Lasts about 2 hours on skin and 30 minutes as a trail. For the price, it’s great. As it dries down, it leaves a classic vetiver note. I recommend it for its value.
Smells almost identical to Jacques Bogart Silver Scent Pure (the white bottle version).
Navy Black: Starts citrusy and aromatic. As it develops, the citrus blends with woods. When it dries down, it matures into something elegant, almost sexy. Lasts 2-3 hours in the air and 5 on the skin. It’s a well-executed nod to Bleu de Chanel, though its longevity and projection are low. For the price, it delivers on its promises and is worth it.
While it’s more of a ‘tribute to Bleu de Chanel’ and not the ‘original rock band’, it could be said to be a dupe of this. Of course, it will never replace it. You put them side by side and compare them 1 to 1, and Chanel wins by a landslide; the quality difference is abyssal. Recommended, like any Zara fragrance: you’ll smell good for a super affordable price, plus these don’t hurt to spray. I use it without fear for daily trips to university, without worrying about wasting it; I’ve even sprayed it in my room to keep it smelling good. For the price, yes, I recommend it.
It’s my current office perfume. You start the day fresh with the bergamot opening, and then the clean, soapy, and elegant vetiver base accompanies me. Longevity is what’s necessary, and as for projection, I don’t think it stands out much.
A solid dupe for Bleu de Chanel EDT, though comparing them side-by-side, it feels more synthetic. Fresh and citrusy top notes with a clean base. Pretty good for school or the office. For around $20, the longevity isn’t terrible—about 4-6 hours on skin with decent projection for the first hour. One of Zara’s best dupes, I’d highly recommend it, especially if you grab the $30 pack that includes 800 Black. Performance: 6/10, Value: 8.5/10, Longevity: 5/10, Projection: 3/10, Scent: 7.5/10.
It’s a very good dupe of Bleu de Chanel EDT, although when comparing them clearly, it feels much more synthetic. It has a fresh, citrusy opening with a clean base; it’s quite good for school or the office. For a perfume costing around $20, the longevity isn’t so bad: about 4-6 hours on the skin and good projection for the first hour. One of the best Zara dupes, I’d recommend it a lot, especially if you buy the $30 pack that includes 800 Black. Performance: 6/10, Price: 8.5/10, Longevity: 5/10, Projection: 3/10, Scent: 7.5/10.
The smell is a 9-10/10, but it lasts WAY TOO SHORT.
Fresh and pleasant, good for daily use in warm climates. I haven’t smelled Bleu de Chanel, but obviously, I don’t think it’s as synthetic as this scent. The longevity is terrible, like most in the collection: two hours and it’s gone, unless you reapply or go overboard with the sprays.
Fresh and pleasant. Good for daily wear in warm climates. I haven’t smelled Bleu de Chanel, but obviously, I don’t think it’s as synthetic as this scent. The longevity is terrible, like most in the collection: it vanishes in two hours unless you reapply or go overboard with sprays.
The opening is delicious; yes, it’s synthetic, but it feels very fresh and pleasant to me. It reminds me more of Dylan Blue than Bleu de Chanel. I had the bottle stored for 5 months; honestly, I only tried it at first and didn’t like it much, but today with some oxygenation and ‘maceration’ it has improved quite a bit. The dry down is rich and gives me about 4-5 hours on the skin… acceptable for a Zara perfume.
Pleasant. Many people have told me it smells like Dior Sauvage, but I don’t think so. Still, it has its own distinct touch.
It’s a good dupe of Bleu de Chanel, but its longevity isn’t great, only about 5 hours. It definitely projects for the first 3, but then it loses intensity. In autumn, it’s very cloying and gives me a headache; for some reason, women don’t like it. Scent: 9/10, Longevity: 4/10, Sillage: 6/10.
I’m missing notes like nectarine, coffee, sage, amber, and patchouli; I mostly sense the sage and patchouli. It doesn’t resemble Bleu de Chanel or Dylan Blue; sometimes it reminds me of YSL Y EDP Intense. It’s a pleasant, masculine, and deep fragrance, though the performance is mild.
Maybe it smells like Bleu de Chanel at first, but after half an hour, the vetiver takes over and is almost the only thing left. It reminds me of the new Don Algodón EdP, but with less power and longevity: maybe just 1-2 hours, and it stays right on the skin.
