  1. What a gorgeous scent! Tobacco, honey, and tonka bean dance a beautiful choreography here. So refined; I’ve never tried anything like it. 10/10. What luck to have snagged it before they discontinued it—I’ve got a backup ready. By far, it’s one of my favorites 🥰

Wow! I’d say it was a bomb. I’m not usually a fan of honey, but the first spray felt woody with honey… a fine honey that doesn’t cloy or taste like sweets, but rather honey on wood. One of the most praised scents… girls didn’t believe it was feminine; men told me something like ‘that sweet wood smells so good.’ Excellent projection, moderate after an hour if you don’t abuse it with 4 sprays… longevity is a solid 10/10… sometimes I pull shirts out of the laundry basket and they still smell delicious. I recommend it for those seeking something woody, sweet, and spicy with great longevity. (Note: I wear it day and night; a good scent is for whenever you feel like it, but if you have lots of people close by at work, use it moderately)

  3. I was looking for something with tobacco and fell in love seeing the notes. I recommend it 100%; it’s a very sweet tobacco, similar to Mancera’s Tobacco Vanille but I like Velvet Teddy much more. What impacted me most was matching it with many in my collection: what a surprise! It paired excellently with several I didn’t use often because they were too strong or lacked a ‘punch’ from certain notes. Wow, I was fascinated by how it leveled the potency for some and added notes to others. Incredible perfume and a blind buy that left me speechless. If you like honeyed or tobacco perfumes, you’re in the right place. And as I said, it’s perfect for mixing with other perfumes, as long as they are strong and have similar notes, but it levels everything to perfection.

MY FAVORITE!!! I haven’t been able to find it again; they seem to have discontinued it. It’s exquisite, has a huge sillage, and you can feel the honey and caramel present throughout the entire body of the perfume. What a pity they don’t sell it in Chile anymore.

I was impressed by the longevity and quality. It’s a dupe of Red Tobacco but much sweeter. The honey and tobacco notes are the most prominent. I like to wear it in winter climates because in the heat, the tobacco gives me headaches. I don’t recommend buying it blind because it’s a particular scent that doesn’t reach everyone, but if you like sweet tobacco, go for it without hesitation. A unisex scent with long-lasting power at a very convenient price.

Of the spiced tobacco perfumes, this is my favorite. For example, I have Red Tobacco and can’t use it because on my skin the tobacco note becomes too dominant. I didn’t like the Tom Ford one as much as Velvet Teddy. That said, I only wear it in winter with very low temperatures. The longevity is ideal, over 10 hours; I recommend not putting on more than 4 sprays because it has a powerful sillage. Among the similar ones, I think the Al Haramain Amber Oud Tobacco is very good.

  7. Totally free surprise!… when people talk about LONGEVITY in any review, it should be mandatory to reference these fragrances: +20 hours on skin, simply that’s how a perfume should last. The great advantage is that it smells great without entering absurd discussions about whether it’s natural or synthetic, YOU SMELL GREAT and that’s what matters, at a fairly reasonable price. If it’s true that it resembles TF Tobacco Vanille, MAC Velvet Teddy takes a different path accompanied by a quite loaded honey accord with spices that you can feel all the time. Honestly, for the price, it asks for nothing from TF… I’m sure you’ll understand when you smile at having made a good purchase.

  8. Second-hand purchase, mega cheap, and it surprised me 👍🏼😍. First impression (after a couple of hours) was very good. It comes out with ginger going full speed 🚂, bergamot too, but the ginger takes the lead. That first whiff knocked me out… I knew what it had, but not quite that much. The tobacco flower is present but it’s not tobacco, it’s its flower, and it’s very wearable. My dry down for me is basically ginger tea. After a few minutes, the honey appears along with the flowers and the honey (which I’m never usually a fan of) and I loved it. The mix of ginger, honey, tobacco, and tonka finally reached my heart. It seems like a great autumn-winter perfume, pity it’s discontinued. Totally unisex. It feels provocative, addictive, and attractive 👏🏻👍🏼

The quality is extraordinary, the price is excellent, it definitely reminds me of my beloved Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille but with more force in the notes. On my skin, the unisex honey note stands out, sweet but balanced by the tobacco flower, Egyptian papyrus, the spark of ginger, on a slightly animalic musk base combined with orchid and mimosa. I perceive it as unisex, with a heavy sillage and enormous longevity (over 10 hours), I’m delighted with its development. I don’t recommend buying it blind because it’s potent and long-lasting. A total hit for lovers of tobacco and spiced honey.

The quality is top-notch and the price is impeccable; it smells like my Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford but with more punch. On my skin, the unisex honey stands out—sweet yet balanced by tobacco, Egyptian papyrus, and a spark of ginger. The base is musky, with an animalic touch mixed with orchid and mimosa. I consider it unisex, with a heavy sillage and brutal longevity (over 10 hours). I’m blown away by how it evolves on my skin. Don’t buy it blind because it’s potent and long-lasting, but it’s a total hit for tobacco and spiced honey lovers.

Not for everyone’s taste. Even for me, who adores fragrances that smell for miles and last a lifetime, it’s overwhelming sometimes. It smells good. Different; the initial tobacco smell seems masculine to me, it always makes me imagine 30s gangsters, in striped suits, vests, hats, playing cards while smoking fine tobacco with a crooked smile. Once it dries down, it becomes somewhat unisex-feminine, with that sweet vanilla and honey touch. Indeed, it also reaches a cinnamon scent. It’s a different, elegant scent that lasts and projects a lot for the price. The truth is, I’ve never used it to go out, I don’t know why I don’t dare. I’ve used it at home (I wear anything, even in pajamas and slippers) and sometimes it gets tiring. Two days ago, at night, I sprayed it on my husband’s arm and we went to sleep; it was a hot night and in my dreams I felt a bit nauseous. I would recommend using it in cold climates.

  12. An absolute masterpiece and a great discovery. Sweet, honeyed, vanilla, and high-quality pipe tobacco are the standout notes, but the quality is just amazing!!! Uff. My wife fell in love with it and keeps stealing it, so I had to stock up before it gets discontinued. Completely unisex. Nothing to envy from niche perfumes and clearly superior to common designer scents. Great longevity and good sillage.

  14. Spectacular fragrance. Although it says it’s for women, I’d consider it unisex since it’s very similar to ZARA Tobacco Collection Rich Warm Addictive, but without that dominant rum smell. I’ve been wearing it for a couple of weeks and I love this excellent combination of honey and tobacco with a hint of spice, which seems to come from ginger. The aromas are so high quality that I find myself smelling it over and over again. The scent is linear, so you’ll always feel the same thing. Four sprays easily lasted my 12-hour workday and even longer on clothes, with strong projection for 2-3 hours that isn’t cloying or invasive. Highly recommended.

  17. Exquisite fragrance. The honey and tobacco flower are felt exquisitely from the very first moment. It’s quite linear, a delight from start to finish. I’m wearing it right now and the honey feels exquisite, sweet but not cloying. The tobacco doesn’t take a back seat; in my opinion, it feels right up there with the honey, reminding me of high-quality pipe tobacco pouches. The sillage is moderate and longevity is about 12 to 20 hours! In my opinion, better than Tom Ford Tobacco Vanilla!

Exquisite fragrance where honey and tobacco flower shine from the very first moment. It’s linear and delicious from start to finish; the honey is sweet without being cloying and the tobacco has the right weight, reminding me of high-quality pipe tobacco pouches. The sillage is moderate but longevity is 12 to 20 hours. For me, it beats Tom Ford Tobacco Vanilla.

  19. Tried the MAC fragrances again, and while others smelled like strange things, this scent surprised me. It’s sweet, vanilla, and features high-quality pipe tobacco. My wife fell in love so much she keeps stealing it, so I stocked up before they ran out. It’s unisex, rivals niche perfumes, and clearly beats common designers. Great longevity and good sillage.

  20. I tried the new MAC scents again, and while ‘Candy Yum Yum’ smells like shampoo, ‘Heroine’ like solvent, and ‘Ruby Woo’ like dampness, this ‘velvet teddy bear’ has won me over. It’s sweet, sexy, and warm, with vanilla, honey, ginger, and bergamota creating an adorable and super sugary atmosphere. A seduction infusion with almost perfect longevity; it reminds me of Mugler Angel but gentler. Already added to my wishlist.
